“I think so” Athene said thoughtfully. “Although I think that a guardian cat might be able to tell you more.” At least he was assuming so given the fact that from what he gathered they seemed to create them at the same time as the henshin pen. Athene glanced at Thraen’s phone when the taller senshi offered it over and nodded when he saw the entry “Yes that’s it.” Hopefully it would be something handy for the other – after all there was probably no such thing as too much contacts.

"Thanks, " Thraen bobbed a nod of respect to the greater senshi. That was one thing down that made a little more sense and made it a lot more helpful. "Any advice on how to meet everyone? Just chasing down signals seems risky, but...I mean...I can tell the difference now between ours and their signals as far as my senses reach. " "I met an....Aer...gir...or something...Gosh...I should remember names better. Well, either way he mentioned patrols, or at least that there weren't really any set ones, but that sometimes people frequent specific areas. Any suggestions on who or where I should seek out? Or anything to avoid?"

The name Thraen mentioned (or maybe it was better to say part mentioned) wasn't one Athene was familiar with. "I'm probably not the best senshi to ask about meeting the others" Athene admitted. "The ones I know are ones I've mostly met and talked to while out on the patrol beat." A thoughtful look flitted across his face. "Camelot is a good person to talk to if you want to find out more about the Knights and my team leader Princess Polaris has been around much longer than I have and is really nice." A frown replaced the thoughtful look at Thraen's mention of things to avoid. "If you sense a Nega General's aura or higher while on your own then you should try and avoid it or call for backup. A Nega General's aura would feel about as strong as mine – but stronger." He thought about it "You should probably avoid the Nega Captains if you're on your own too since their weapons tend to be more dangerous than those of a Lieutenant" then his voice turned flat "But definitely avoid the Nega Generals if on your own – there's at least one Nega General out there that seems to hate anything White Moon – as in really hate – and she has a spear as a weapon that she has no qualms about using.”

Avoid Captains. Avoid Generals. Well, that was easy enough advice. Thraen considered the debacle he'd just been the star of and wondered if maybe avoiding any sort of Negaverse agent in general weren't a better order. The Lieutenants had to be more to deal with than the Youma, and he was pretty awful at dealing with those. Or Mirror Wraiths. Or anything involving battle, maybe. How had he been suggested to this war? ********* must have some sort of inside scoop that he wasn't privy to. There wasn't much use in getting too downtrodden with it though. He'd agreed to the job, so it was duty to carry it out. He'd just have to try to be better at it and smart about it and take Athene's advice. "I'll do my best to steer clear then, either in full retreat or in calling someone about it." The emphasis kept being on the 'on his own', which was just .....sad. "Is it usual at all to do this with a partner, or group?"

Athene shook his head “I don’t think there is any real normal for us” he admitted to Thraen. “We’re not like the Negaverse – they have Lieutenants, Captains, Generals and at the very top the General King – although I don’t know how many of those there are.” A quiet sigh “The White Moon is just not that organised” Athene left out the part about the bickering between the various people that he’d experienced at the one mass meeting that he’d been too. “Some people patrol in groups, others alone – some even do temporary team ups – I’ve done that a fair bit.” There was a solemn look in his eyes, the solemnity reflected in his voice as he added “It’s not really safe to patrol on your own.” Athene had learnt that first-hand.

"Unsafe....but open-eyed we are sent walking into th edark are first nights just so....alone. God's breathe that it doesn't end that way." Thraen lifted a hand to cover his mouth, thumb and forefinger stretched in an L across. That was a cold thought. All the more reason to try harder to find others, to hopefully hit it off enough to be allies. He could hope for friends....but he'd never had many of those in regular society. "We do what we must when called, hand in hand or clasped to hope," the start had been so cheerful- being saved by someone, meeting them, being able to learn. Now he just felt like a storm was threatening the horizons. "Oh, Athene. Thank you, really, for taking the time. I'll try to do better. And take your advice. " He looked up from their shoes, searching the other's eyes sincerely, "Are you sure you don't mind if I call you...if its dire?" litian Can probably wrap this soon? Athene's given him a lot to think about, lol.

“All we can do is our best” Athene said quietly. “That’s what I’m trying to do.” He smiled slightly “And it’s no trouble at all” he didn’t have a problem sharing what information he had – if what he’d picked up could help someone else then Athene was all for sharing it. At Thraen’s question about contacting him, Athene nodded again. “No I don’t mind you calling me” he hesitated, then added “You can call me if you want some company out on patrol from time to time too if you want.” He gave a rueful smile and then admitted “Unless you want the company for tonight since I have to head back soon.” Sneaking out to patrol had its downsides, such as the fact that it meant that Athene had to make sure that he was back home, dehenshined as Arian and in his room before his cousin got home from the late shift. Ivynian Works for me, I can wrap Athene on my next post smile

"No, I think one monster and one friend are enough for one night, " it was bold to use friend, but fortune favoured the bold, didn't it? At least allies. Someone to call on or be called on by in trouble or need, which was saying a lot. "I think I should turn in for the night and focus on parsing information and where I need to be in all this mess....and where I should be headed next if I'm going to be effective and not a number on a body count." Thraen gave a quick bow, uncertain of the proper protocol and ethics of senshi hello-goodbyes. "All my best wishes with you, Athene."

"And to you Thraen" Athene said with a small smile. "A pleasant good evening to you." A slight wave later and he started to head off again, letting his footsteps pick out a path that would ultimately take him back home. Sometimes the patrol beat could be a small place, so at some point mayhaps their two paths would end up crossing again. Ivynian Athene fin. Sorry for taking so long
