Illo predicted the crash, and moved to block debris. He thrust his broom into the ground at the instant of impact, canceling the shock to the immediate area.
Looking up he said "Hi, I'm Illo, the janitor." He bowed deeply, he respected everyone after all.
"... I was trying to be stealthy." With a sigh.

Illo caught on, in a second. He could feel the thoughts of the man race and double over, and again over, like a series of three-legged grey hounds.
"Oh, DIVERSION! I get it now."
He watched the girl from before fade into the woods, and deftly tabbed her wavelength. Soon after, he was swarmed by men in strange rubber suits.
"Oh, man... How will I get out of this?" He thought to the chain weapon. He looked up and gave a quick wink.

Sinner was caught when the girl turned to make sure that he and his meister were following. His eyes flicked up from the girl's butt to her eyes, and a lopsided grin quirked the right side of his lips. He then, after the fourth repetition of the Mission Impossible theme song, finally stowed the uke to float in silence over his Meister with his eyes on the girl in front of them. On the most inappropriately revealed parts, revealed with the removal of her cloak, in front of them.

Nice to mee'cha Misa. Way to .. Liven up the scenery. I be sinner, the Cursed chain." He said in his rough Irish brogue, then turning his thoughts inward he thought in the janitor-person's general direction Aye, Boyo. Sounds like a plan to me, you be some kind of living nuke or somesuch?" He asked in his throughs before turning to his vocals again "If he be some kind of 'splosive, couldn't we just deliver him to the lab thing the same way that the two of us arrived, bombadeer style? Or be there civvies, innocents inside eh?"

He hoped that the fact his Meister did not want direct confrontations was not due to the fact that his last four partners were killed in no small part by he himself. Hopefully it was only because they had never been in a life or death battle where they could not flee if they felt their sync rate lowering. They hovered around a fifty percent sync at normal times, which was high for a pair but normal for the two of them and afforded his meister most of the abilities that they could share. But were the sync to lower signifigantly, he would start to become heavier, to weigh her down and keep them from being able to fight properly. He wouldn't allow that to happen though and would reverse the weapon manifestation were they to lower more than 35%. But as for now, they should be fine, as they were more of a mind than most would think, their burden of pain, of guilt, pushed into the back of their minds. "Aye, girly that be the easiest course methinks." He told her, tugging the chain so he was close enough to give her a weightless pat on the the top of her head. "Though, were it to come to a head to head, we be fine after so much practice, aye?"

Misa frowned at Sinner and Nero when she heard them, especially at the fact that Sinner seemed to be ogling her. "The only innocents in that lab are the prisoners," she replied to Sinner, ignoring his comment about the scenery. "And don't worry," she added, turning to Nero. "I know what I'm doing. My ammunition and life-support fuel-cells glow, but I didn't escape the labs by luck. I know how to get away from their patrols."

The alarms seem to fade as the group moved deeper into the depths of the forest. The ground was covered in mist that reached about knee height making it difficult to tell where you could place your feet without stumbling, though Misa seemed to be able to do so easily. The entire forest including the trees seemed damp as if it had just rained. The canopy of leaves above them was massive, blocking out almost all sunlight and giving the forest itself an air of eerie twilight. Though there were the sounds of bugs, no other animals could be seen as they traveled. "We're almost there," she assured the group. "And when we get there, don't make any sudden movements. The rule around here is to shoot first and ask questions later. Also, nobody here trusts you so don't expect us to try and save your neck when things hit the fan. We're here for one reason; to rescue our fellow prisoners and destroy Lucrum Labs entirely." She looked back at them as they walked. "Do you understand?" She asked.

(ook , I see. I'll remember that, though it's hard to continue the storyline without the person who is guiding the story (aka you right saber?)


Sin chuckled a bit at Nero's joke and allowed his crooked grin to widen when he caught that Misa was frowning. Her conformation that there were innocents was a little disconcerting because he really did not want more innocent deaths to weigh down his conscience. " So, there ARE innocents. and all of them are prisoners? Is there an easy way to tell them apart from those who work there? Or between those who are innocent and those who it has become too late to save?" He asked thoughtfully as he kept his eyes on the glowing girl, his floating giving him a better vantage point so that she was kept in sight at all times.

Sinner's thoughts turned inward as the forest darkened and the alarms faded due to distance. His chain started slowly moving down to wrap around his Meister, coil after coil obscuring her arm, then chest then other arm, larger links wrapping about her torso and stomach as he fully manifested. When he finally finished, his meister was completely wrapped from wrist to wrist to hips in what looked like chain ring-mail. The links were thick, sturdy and looked as if they would stop nearly any attack, yet her speed and movement had not slowed or become hampered in any way as she moved. Within the grasp of her right hand, at the end of a long chain that extended from her wrist was a long knife, and in her left, also accompanied by a long loop of chain was a solid shield-sized ball who was spiked like a mourning star.

Sin's thoughts were of traps and ambushes as he fully manifested around Nero. He kept the thought that this Misa person and her cohorts of 'escaped' prisoners might just know how to avoid the patrols only because she was in on whatever was going on in the lab, and that, for some reason the lab might have known that they would be sent to investigate eventually. For some reason he didn't want to provide such a place with a living weapon and his Meister as the guinea pigs for round two of the experiments. other than the fact of him fully manifesting, he kept his thoughts to himself and allowed his Meister to take the dominant position of their pair. He was still a mite confused on why the third of their team was allowing himself to be captured, but if that kept the heat off their shoulders, and he was able to keep in mental contact, he wouldn't say anything to the contrary, figuring that he and his meister would be able to handle a covert penetration while all the guards were busy hauling the janitor in through the front.

Meanwhile, back in the crater outside the forest, a deep humming could be heard, though it didn't seem to be coming from any one direction. It hung in the air for a moment before there was a loud, bright flash as if someone had torn open the air itself. When the light faded a large, monstrous creature stood where the epicenter of the light had been. "Intrusion confirmed, intruder located," the thing said in a deep, metallic voice. There were two more flashes and two more of the things appeared, three in total. They were each exactly identical and stood just over twelve feet high and six feet wide, both arms ending in powerful looking weapons. Their 10 yellow eyes glowed brightly as they assessed Illo.

"Traces of multiple intruders detected, tracking pheromone path," the first one said again as it slowly turned towards the forest. "Three additional intruders confirmed. Travel direction West by Northwest. Destination unknown, exact location unknown. Processing..." the beast as silent for a moment before it spoke again. "Negative on pursuit. Proximate location on high-threat terrain. Risk of failure unacceptable. Event logged." It turned away from the forest, looking back towards Illo. Three more of the beasts flashed in, creating a total of six. They paused for a moment as if receiving orders from somewhere else. "Drop your weapon and surrender. This is your only warning," the beast told Illo as all six of them leveled the weapons on their left arms at him. "Failure to comply will result in immediate death."
