The shiny Axew didn't like him, that was rather painfully obvious to him at this point. He hunched a little feeling more than a little self conscious. It couldn't be helped as far as he was concerned really.
Noble followed along behind the tall, silent teen, feeling those glaring eyes on him from behind the entire time. A soft sigh was given but he stepped in...and sat on the grass, keeping his back to the fence area, and himself further from the house. He wasn't trusted by the Pokemon, and he didn't want to put him even more on the defensive than he was. So, the further from the house he sat, the better he thought.
He saw the look on the teens face begin to falter a little and he frowned some, wishing he knew how to fix the situation but he didn't. It was a surprise to be talked to by the shiny though and he turned towards him eyes sort of wide.
"I'm Noble...it's nice to meet you both." a tentative smile given as he pulled his hood back a little. "I wasn't meaning to cause any troubles...I'm really sorry."
The question of food was met with a puzzled look and he tipped his head. "I...don't know? I'm sort of used to just foraging for berries and stuff as I travel. I don't really know anything beyond that." at least he was honest...if clueless.

Muldoon gave Noble a weird look. How could anyone not know what they wanted to eat? He shook his chocolate head, closing his purple eyes, and was about to say something when a large rock was held out by Aggro.
The Pupinaw was eager to help, and when the Keldeo child had mentioned foraging, he had begun to do so himself. The only thing within reaching distance (without him having to get up), however was a slightly dirty rock. Better than nothing, he thrust his hand into the middle of the group of the three boys and looked at Noble. His eyes were filled with a look that made one feel he needed to be praised, even if what he was doing seemed a little silly.
Taken aback a bit by Aggro's movement, Muldoon lost his train of thought and focused on the rock at hand. "Uh... Aggro, I don' think he eats rocks like you do." And as an after thought, the little Axew gave a questioning look at Noble. "Do you?"

He caught that look and gave a wry laugh. "I'm used to nuts, and berries and stuff...this whole...house thing is new to me." a shrug given. It was the best way to explain it honestly.
The rock made Noble blink and he looked up at Aggro curiously. The look on the teen's face though, it made Noble grin some. He really liked the silent one a lot. He was so friendly! "You know I've never eaten a rock before. I don't think my teeth are built for it. Can you eat them?" how curious he sounded. He'd never met anyone who could eat rocks!
Muldoon's words confirmed it though. "Oh wow you do!? How cool! Can I see? Please?" his eyes lit up and he gave the teen a bright smile...only to blink at Muldoon and shake his head, looking more animated since the three had met. "No...but I've never tried..." he took the rock and brushed it off and brought it up to his mouth and bit down on part of it. Only to make a face. "Nope...don't eat rocks."

A very confused look crossed Aggro's face at the request of watching him eat. He retracted his arm that held the rock and looked to Muldoon, who just shrugged. To both of the them, it was perfectly normal to eat rocks, even though the Axew himself didn't. They both grew up around Aggro eating rocks, so it didn't seem weird to them.
Cautiously, he took the rock and bit a chunk out of it, like one would an apple. The rock crumbled like a huge cracker to the power of Aggro's jaws and teeth. He then tentatively chewed and swallowed, giving a weak half smile to Noble.
Muldoon shrugged again, "I dunno, guess he likes to watch people eat?" He stretched out a bit before continuing. "Whatever, takes all kinds, I guess."
Aggro set the rock down and arose with a slight groan. Without a word he headed into the house, returning minutes later with a small tray of crackers, cheeses, berries, and some water. He set the tray in the middle of the group and motioned for Noble to have his fair share.

The confused look made Noble frown a little...had he asked something he shouldn't have? It was certainly feeling that way the way the two of them were acting. It made him squirm internally feeling rather self conscious suddenly.
Still it was sort of fascinating to watch someone eating rocks, and with such ease! He returned the weak smile with an equally weak one of his own still feeling really uncomfortable thanks to his questions and reactions.
Even the slight dig from Muldoon didn't illicit a vocal response from Noble, though it made him sort of hunch his shoulders as his gaze dropped down to his hands. Yup, he'd gone and put a hoof in his mouth.
The tray of food was looked at and he looked up at Aggro again, a soft smile given as he reached for a cracker. "Thank you...this looks good." his voice had grown rather soft after all that, nervous again and he ate quietly. He finished it and took a drink of water clearing his throat.
"I'm sorry if my asking to see you eat the rock was inappropriate..." had hadn't realized it was!

Now Aggro really felt uncomfortable. The last thing he wanted to do was make Noble feel self conscious, which he obviously felt at this point. The Pupinaw was all to familiar with that sensation. When the statement was given, Aggro shook his hands and frowned, trying to show Noble that it was no big deal. Luckily, he had a translator.
"Oh, no, it's nothing like that," Muldoon spoke up. "I mean, it's just..." he trailed off, trying to think of how to word it; Noble definitely seemed to be of a more delicate nature than most. "...the best way I guess I can explain it, is if someone took a fancy to wanting to see how you ate?" He shrugged, hoping that that would help Noble realize how silly the question had seemed. He decided to continue, however, "A Tauros eats grass, because that's the natural food for them to eat. A Larvitar eats rocks for the same reason. My cousin was born a Larvitar."
Aggro nodded at this and picked up his rock once again, nibbling at various areas. After a few here and there, he would hold it out and turn it over in his hands, looking at its shape and color pattern. Muldoon rolled his eyes, he knew exactly what Aggro was doing, and thought it a bit silly whenever the muse would seize him. So, the chocolate Axew took a few berries for himself and began munching on the them while Aggro sculpted. Once, he looked to Noble and gave him a slight motion of his head to watch what the Pupinaw was doing. Surely he'd find it interesting at least.
After several minutes, Aggro had crafted a star, similar in size and shape to one he'd found when he was still just a Pokemon. He held it out to Noble so the Keldeo could see it. He measured from the ground about how small he'd been when he was a Larvitar, illustrating his story. Then, he motioned like he swallowed the star, only to set it aside and then motion to the way he looked now. After his little pantomime, he motioned to Noble with his hand and cocked his head to the side, wondering if something similar had happened to him as well.

Of course the explanation made Noble feel sillier than he had and he still blushed rubbing the back of his neck and clearing his throat. "Oh...I didn't think of it like that. I haven't met any Larvitars before so I didn't realize..." he gave a sheepish smile.
Noble had reached for some more of the food feeling better about the situation now, and was in the middle of chewing when he noticed Muldoon motioning for him to watch, and he did. Was he actually making something from the rock? How neat was that?
He followed the pantomime closely, and he nodded a smile on his face. "I found a star too. Well more like it found me. I'd been in a remote village when I still looked like a Keldeo and not like this...and I'd stopped to drink water from the lake and something hit me on the head. As I slumped to the ground I saw a star laying close to me. When I woke up I was still half in the water, and I looked like this."
There was a thoughtful look to him as he finished speaking. "I've seen several changed pokemon in my travels. It's an interesting phenomenon really. One I'd been trying to gather information on with little luck."

While the other two talked about the changes they'd gone through, Muldoon picked up the rock his cousin had carved and looked at it longingly. he wished he could change, for so many different reasons. Aggro noticed Muldoon looking at the rock and smiled a little at him, gesturing to it.
"Oh, sorry," the little Axew muttered, placing the stone next to the teen's leg.
Aggro shook his head and handed it back to him.
"Ya mean I can keep it?" Muldoon actually sounded cheerful for once. Aggro nodded. "Thanks!" A smile lighted the shiny Axew's face as he held the stone.
The expression on Aggro's face soften, one could tell that he felt like he'd done something truly special for his cousin. That look quickly faded, however, when Muldoon asked his next question. "You think I'll be able to change too?" Aggro's smile faded and he looked Noble, pleading for some assistance.

Noble from the corner of his eye could see Muldoon pick up the rock and looked to him proper when Aggro's attention turned to the shiny Axew fully. It was something to see the surly little pokemon suddenly sound rather happy. It was like a whole different pokemon was sitting there as he smiled.
But what a loaded question! He glanced to Aggro and saw that look of 'Crap! Help!' on his face and he rubbed the back of his neck a moment looking thoughtful. "You might be able to...from all those I've talked to...most have wished to be different..to look like this for one reason or another. To help someone, to get away from somewhere, for safety...though a few have changed without wanting to. I've met less of those."
He cleared his throat lightly. "It's entirely possible you could change though yes...if you wish for it really hard and all...maybe who ever sends the stars will hear your wish and grant it. But I can't promise anything, so don't get your hopes up too much okay?"

Aggro nodded at Noble's explanation, thoroughly relieved that he was there to help field that question. He looked back to his cousin, whose cheeriness seemed to change with the wind.
"S'pose yer right..." Muldoon sighed, setting the rock as his feet. There was a long, awkward silence that befell the group.
The Pupinaw looked around, seemingly trying to find something, but ending up just looking a bit flustered. "Muldoon," his deep voice cut the silence, "Sometimes you have to work for what you want, it is not always handed to you. Even if you do not get your wish, you can always fulfill your dreams another way. It may not seem like it, but there is always more than one path."
The Axew's eyes went wide. His cousin didn't speak very often, so when he did, everyone listened, and he was no exception (even if he wasn't sure what he was talking about). "'Kay," was all Muldoon managed. He didn't see how he'd get the loves of his life without changing first.

Noble watched the reactions from Muldoon wishing he could have given him something of a happier, and more definitive answer, but he'd given the most truthful one in the end. If anyone asked him why he'd changed, he'd have to wager it was because he was tired of people treating him special. Easier to blend in when one looked more like a human and less like a god-pokemon!
He wasn't sure what to say at this point though the look of surprise as he heard the teen start to talk. He'd been sure the teen was a mute! He couldn't help but stare slightly at that deep voice, listening to him intently...he really liked the sound of Aggro's voice! It was so soothing...like warm velvet or something.
The advice Aggro gave was good advice and he gave a nod. "Your cousin is right....changing might not be the key to what you want...but hard work and determination could bring you there. Can I ask why it is you want to change so badly Muldoon?" curiosity really.

"Um..." the question from Noble caught Muldoon off guard. His knee-jerk reaction was to shout, "None of you damn business!" but he, luckily, caught himself and mulled over how/what to tell. "I.... uh...." he was starting to look nervous. "Well, ya see..." he mumbled something while not looking at either Poke-human. He really didn't like being on the spot.
"It is okay, you do not have to tell us, if you do not want to, Muldoon." Aggro gave a reassuring look, speaking once again. "If it helps, I wanted to change to take better care of Miss Zoey." He took a long glance towards the house, but it seemed he was not needed, so he brought his attention back to the little group.
"Nah, i's..." Muldoon sighed, "I want to show up my father, 'kay?" This sentence was said hastily and he felt a little angry about the whole thing. It wasn't a lie, but it definitely wasn't the whole truth, nor the main reason why he wanted to change.
Aggro nodded and left it at that. He accepted the fact that his cousin wasn't telling the whole truth, but was also not surprised by his answer. Aggro wasn't fond of his uncle by any means; where his mother was kind and loving, her brother was belittling and hateful. He was constantly calling Aggro names behind her back, mostly about his sexuality. It was actually his fault that the Pupinaw rarely talked. Years of verbal abuse would cause anyone not to want to interact with people. Good thing Zoey and the rest of his family was there for him, he probably wouldn't have made it otherwise.

Noble could see his question had surprised Muldoon, and saw some emotion he didn't understand flitting across his eyes as he thought of how to answer. He'd likely asked something he shouldn't have he realized. Whoops.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you. He's right, you don't have to tell us if you don't want to." he listened to Aggro curiously. Who was Zoey he wondered? He didn't ask at this point. "Oh I see. Well thats as good a reason as any you know." he gave a warm smile. "I wanted to change because I got tired of the attention I was given...of people trying to catch me. I didn't ask to be a legendary pokemon and to be treated like a god or something...I don't like it. I just want to be normal. Easier to do when I can blend in a little easier." not that he blended in terribly well. He just felt better now that most didn't know he was a Keldeo!

As if by some conjuring spell, the backdoor to the house slid open and a young, sickly girl in a motorized wheelchair emerged. Despite her physical appearance, she had the most brilliant smile that was beaming on the boys. "Hello," she chimed in a weak, but still chipper voice. "Don't mind me, I was just coming say hi." Aggro had immediately jumped up and rushed over to her aid, pushing the chair over to the group. She chuckled, "Thank you, Aggro, but I was quite alright." Her eyes fell on the newcomer. "Oh, hello.... I don't think we've met. I'm Zoey." She raised a hand from its resting place on her lap for brief moment before it faltered and fell again. This did not escape Aggro's notice and he grimaced a bit before taking a seat directly to her side.
Muldoon remained silent. He didn't mind Zoey, but he always felt very awkward around her.

Noble heard the door open and looked up at the odd mechanical sound he heard, eying the wheelchair a moment curiously. Noble got to his feet then and moved to the girl a smile given to her. "I'm Noble, it's nice to meet you Zoey. I ran into them a bit ago out in the trees. We all sort of startled one another." a light smile given as he sat back down then. He wasn't used to dealing with people...let alone someones trainer much. He could see though that Aggro was devoted to Zoey, and it made him smile to see.
