The God of Punks was lifted up off the ground with ease, at this point he was in no position to fight back. It seemed painless to him when Major brought him into the air and then dropped him onto the turnbuckle, though pain was vibrating through his body from his Godly Jewels smacking against the turnbuckle. He leaned back against the steel scaffolding holding up the Nest above, before leaning forward and attempting to hit the Devil Dog with a heavy haymaker in a final attempt to fight back!

This time, Major was ready for the haymaker and ducked before attempting to retaliate with a brutal uppercut!

The uppercut smashed into the champion's jaw, causing Matt to recoil backwards and smack his head against the steel scaffolding! His eyes fluttered shut as his daze took over once more.

As Matt sat dazed on the top turnbuckle, Major slowly drew his thumb across his throat as a sadistic glint sparked in his eyes. The Master of Disaster began to scale the turnbuckles and would attempt to lift Shanahan into position to try to shove him into a standing headscissors. If he was able to do so, the Jarhead Juggernaut would look to secure the champ's arms in a double underhook so that he could potentially drop the utterly devastating top-rope Tigerbomb known quite aptly as THE MOTHER OF ALL BOMBS!!!

It all happened so fast, yet it felt like it was in slow motion for the champion. He was pulled in for the move, and dropped off for The Mother of All Bombs before he could even blink. The God of Punks body fell into the heap, effectively knocking out the brutally devastated champion for the umpteenth time tonight. The fans were silenced at the destructive finishing move... They knew it was over.

The impact as Shanahan was driven into mat with a nearly 10 foot drop was absolutely thunderous! Major rolled backward after the hard landing and came up to his feet with a mighty roar.
"LOOK AT YOUR SO-CALLED GOD NOW!!!", shouted the Master of Disaster as, after having just lived up to his moniker, he placed his foot across the chest of the battered, broken and unconscious God of Punks.

The count was done. In the night that Matt Shanahan had managed to capture his first world championship in years, he had lost it to such a cheap, yet tactful decision on Major's part. The fans were still in silence, seemingly more worried that The God of Punks might be dead, rather than the disrespectful display that came with it.
He had been through hell in order to win the title, and defended it better than anyone expected right afterwards... But he couldn't take any more. Not tonight. Not in this state. Matt was unconscious, the referees and medics quickly surrounding the ring with a stretcher ready to go.

The crowd sat in shocked silence for quite some time, partially in disbelief as to what just happened and partly out of concern for Shanahan, who had been knocked out for the umpteenth time in one night.
As Major's music began to play, the referee, with a look of utter disgust upon his visage, handed the new champion his title belt and reluctantly raised his hand in victory.
"The winner of the match, and the NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WWE:E EVOLUTION CHAMPION...'The Master of Disaster' MAJOR DEVASTATION!!!"
Once the Devil Dog began to climb the turnbuckles to celebrate his win, every single one of the road agents, medics and officials at ringside swarmed the ring to surround Matt and get him out of the squared circle and into the waiting ambulance before Major could possibly decide that even more punishment needed to be inflicted. Just as soon as the God of Punks had been safely evacuated, the crowd met the newly minted champion with a vehemently hostile reaction, booing loudly and even going so far as to hurl garbage at him. The feed ended with Devastation standing in the center of the ring, celebrating the beginning of his reign in the midst of a rain of refuse.
