Donovan frowned and it wrinkled his forehead.
"Who the hell mentioned anything about slavery?"
Ok, maybe she'd had a little too much to drink. Or maybe she was just a little bit off her rocker. Either way, he was starting to feel like he'd dodged a bullet. Not wanting to leave on anything but amicable terms he got up, tilted his head in a respectful fashion and then smiled.
"Goodbye Nyasa."
All in all he didn't feel the need to stick around after that. He couldn't decide if her last words were condescending or not but it didn't much matter. He left the bar and looked for his next stop.

Nyasa watched his reaction and gauged it with interest, almost wishing she could drop the 'Ice Queen' act for a moment to get a good, long laugh at his obvious misunderstanding of her statement. Alas, her chance to explain herself was given such a brief window and she figured she wouldn't bother, as he seemed eager to leave her to her own devices.
Which was just fine with her. She managed to give him a friendly wave off and a smile as he left, though it only deepened once he left her side. He seemed like a nice fellow, assuming his whole shtick wasn't just a charade to woo women into bed with him. Though it did make her wonder... was it all an act, or were 'ye ole knights of yore' was the real deal?
"That's quite a character," Nyasa said to the bartender, as she motioned for another drink.
