Xander shook his head and smiled, feeling amusement creep up in him again, even this most stressful of moment at how Alex seemed concerned rather belatedly about saving face. Really to Xander it seemed Alex had a lot of his mother in him.
Xander took his hair tie and went to put Alex hair up, which took a bit of maneuvering as Alex lay against Xander and he complained of a headache. Xander would have suggested he rub his temples, but he was, so he kept quiet not suggestion pain killers which he knew Alex didn't take.
He tried to be as gentle as possible and finished just a second after he heard Alex's dad call for him. He gave Alex a pat on the shoulder to let him know he was done and a tiny push to get him on his way to his father. He would greet the man before he headed off to check on Colette and call his family and inform them of what was going on.

Smiling back at Xander, as he left the others lap, Alexandre headed toward his father who looked as much a wreck as he did. In fact the normally calm and composed Mr. Evans looked to have been crying and was nervous as he turned his head this way and that even as he knew his son was coming toward him, he was likely looking for a doctor or someone who knew about his wife.
As Alexandre reached his father he latched on, similar to hos he'd latched onto Xander. Mumbling into his father that he was ok and Xander had been with him. As he felt his fathers arms come about him he continued to utter words, about his mother being ok - Xander said so. And no one coming out to see him yet but she was ok that Xander had seen them working on her. Anything to assure his father and fill him in on what he knew. His cell phone still lay forgotten, as it would be for the rest of the day and evening.

Xander smiled at the scene of Alex and David embracing and offering each other the comfort they so obviously need and would continue to need in the coming days. He walked over to the pair listening briefly to the words Alex mumbled and nodding to confirm they, an unconscious attempt to reassure.
"Mr. Evan, uh, David," he greet putting an hand on the man's arms and keeping the turmoil off his face, before giving Alex a pat on the back. "I will be back. I need to find my phone and make a few calls. Mom and Dad will want to know and Lily and Rose a well."
He gave another nod and headed back into the ER.
