As soon as Endy was close enough, Freya climbed all over Kettil to get to the owl, sliding down until she too was in Kettil's lap and wrapping her arms around the owl. She buried her face into its feathers and continued to cry like a baby. The answer it gave Kettil made Freya laugh through her muffled tears, and she lifted her head up to look at them both, shining with tears and happiness.
"Never leaves us again, Endy. Hooter was a mess without yeh. A mess. And I was this close teh givings up on life." She whimpered, and then nuzzled her face into the feathers again.
"I loves yeh, Endy."

Endzela quietly cooed at Freya and gently butted her head against the ghoul's chin, "I love you, too. I know Kettil was a mess, he always is when I am not around," she sighed lightly. The Owl apparently lost no sass while she was 'away'. The bird just enjoyed being close to the two she loved for the moment.
Kettil wrapped his arms around them both and sighed lightly, "I kept it together enough to keep Freya around," he stuck his tongue out.
"Well, that is a good thing. If you upset her while I was gone, I will make your life miserable." Endzela said simply.

Freya practically coo'd herself, melting against them both and curling up childishly in absolute bliss. "I am okays, Hooter is okays, yeh okays, our family is back togethers again forever." She sighed, snuggling in happily. Her whisper was muffled, soft, but still audible.
"I missed havings my family all together again."

Kettil just smiled lightly. He was glad Freya was just as happy as he was to have the sasspot owl back. He rested his chin on Freya's shoulder and let out a small hum, "I keep asking Freya to marry me but she says no."
The Owl paused in her cooing for a moment, "Because she is still engaged to me~. That's why, don't be a silly boil."

And just like that, Endzela gave Freya a fun new excuse to use.
"That's right! Hooter, how could yeh tries teh steals me away from my fiancee while she was missing? Is so terribles! Maybe this is why she did not comes back, she is so mads yehr tryings teh steals me away!"
Her mischievous grin was plastered all over her face, as usual. She couldn't even try to be serious.

Kettil sighed a little, "But who am I going to marry? This hardly seems fair, Endzela."
Was he taking this seriously? Probably not. At least not too seriously.
Endzela let out a small owlish sound before she just replied, "It is completely fair~. I saw her in person first and so she is mine first. Besides, I am being very gracious by letting you two be together. I am a very jealous owl by nature."
The boil raised an eyebrow at his familiar, "...So you're saying you're in a open relationship with my ghoulfriend?"
"Problem?"

Despite his attempts to keep a grip on his ghoulfriend she was pretty much on the floor in a fit of giggles.
Endzela was unsettled and managed to wiggle away before Freya hit the ground.
Over the edge of the bed both Familiar and Reaper peered down at the giggly ghoul, "I think she's amused."
"...You think?"

Freya's giggles subsided... after a few long minutes. She looked up at them, tears in her eyes, and waved them away. "Stops lookings at me! Yehr both so funny, twice as funny together."
She crawled back up onto the bed, slowly but surely, and then crawled into Kettil's lap.
"Endy.. there's one problem." She gasped at the owl. "Yeh haven't asked me with a ring yet.. that makes it official." Her lips were wide in that same, silly smile, but at least she was controlling her giggles. "Yeh gots teh gets me a ring before Hooter does, Endy!! Or else he'll capture me in his claws and our love will be for naught!"

Kettil smirked at her as she told them that they were twice as funny together, "Keep that up and we might charge you per joke," he teased as he sat back and let her on his lap.
The Owl let out a thoughtful sound as she peered over at Kettil, "Hardly fair, Freya-darling."
The boil peered at his Owl for a moment or two.
"Because he a--" Kettil suddenly reached over and put his hands on the owl's face.

Freya didn't really catch that, at first. She thought it wasn't fair because Endy couldn't buy a ring. After all, that was the logical conclusion. "Is okay Endy, yeh can just finds somethings ring shaped, and.."
But then she realized Kettil's hands were on Endy's face, and the giggles stopped. "What?" What was she missing?

"Nothing." Kettil replied.
Endzela nipped at Kettil's hand and frantically flapped her wings. Despite being 'away' she was still aware of certain things that Kettil had done during their time apart.
After a few moments he finally lifted his hand and Endzela huffed as she glared vengefully over at her Reaper.

Freya looked from one, to another, suddenly hyper aware that something was being kept from her. There was a small part of her that whispered, telling her that maybe she didn't want to know.. but Freya never listened to quiet voices. She gave Endy a meaningful look, and gestured for her to come closer. She bent in, near the owls face.
"Okays, is just yeh and me." It wasn't. "What's goings on?"

Endy (and her writer) were underestimating just how dense Freya really was..
"Already has.. what..? HOOTER STOP!" She waved his hand away, then straightened up and shifted, so she could sit on his hands. She grinned in triumph, and then nodded to Endy, giving the owl permission to spill the beans now that the beast was held at bay.
