The ferry docked and once Alexiel was off, she made a bee line for the beach. She only hoped that Sejai was there.

The ferry had come to a stop and the Chauffeur made his way back to his car. Sure enough, the stale smell of vomit still drifted in the air. Rolling his eyes Charles got into his car, manuevered off the ferry and onto dry land again.

Irzael looked out across the water at the distant ferry. He muttered a few incantations and whispered, "Come to me, Geylkre." The wind then blew off to deliver his message.

Not long after, a gigantic bird dropped down from the sky and landed next to Irzael. It stretched its wings out to a full one hundred thirty feet. "Hop on," It clicked in the tongue of birds. Irzael climbed on and directed the bird to go across to the beach. The bird leaped into the sky and flapped toward the north.

Masuyu rolled to a stop aboard one of the larger ferry ships, shifting the jeep into park before shutting off the engine to conserve gas. With a wide grin he glanced back at the others, "Does anyone have dirty underwear at this point? I think you might have time to change it before the ferry reaches Gambino Island...."

Allen had noting to say to the current drivers comment, instead busy at work with his laptop. And then, he stopped. And read. And reread, just to make sure. And then, Allen looked up and spoke.
"Gambino beach. There are reports of strange happenings there. You guys might want to at least check it out. It could have something to do with the petals."

"Sounds like we should take a look." Nascen nodded, folding his legs 'indian style' even while still sitting in his car seat, looking around the boat as it drifted accross.
"About the employment; for a larger contract I'd say we're looking at maybe 5k a head, and with four of us that makes 20k, after that I'd say you toss in an additional ten for services and risk of life and limb, and cover expenses on equipment, and then we're up to maybe about 40k. Less over all if it's a smaller sized contract or less dangerous, more if it's more so, right? But that still leaves me one question. You want to hire us; what, specifically, is it you wish to hire us to do?"

(Continued from Port)Thunk. The girl screamed as the car hit the deck. Thunk. And right over them it went by some freak accident. The little blonde pigtailed girl was too busy busting up in tears over the small amount of dust on her emerald dress dress. Or the fact that she almost became a squishy. Her mother was sure to run over and grab her before anything else tried to fall on her. Mod Squad OOC: THERE. FIXED. Sorry for the trouble with this one!

"This. Searching for the petals and all. Hopefully keeping them out of the wrong hands, so nothing bad happens."
It was simple enough, really. And his purpose was exactly what he said. Beyond the opportunity to better himself, and his curiosity, his purpose here was to make sure Gaia stayed safe. And he had the money to hire these mercenaries to help, considering he didn't have friends along with him like he normally did.

The car was a mess, it's condition was questionable as opened the car door and fell out. "You see why I don't drive?" Kit said, grinning. He made it out of the pile of wreckage and saw Gambino in their sights.
((Yeah, anyone still here, just check out a post in the port.))

"So...what do you think, Kit? She still in working shape?"
Almost as if in response to his question, the car let out a hiss as steam escaped from the hood. Then the right rear tire fell off in response to Athan slapping the car's roof.
"...Well, crap."
That was definetly not what he wanted to see happen. Now they had to find somebody in another car. Or maybe just someone that was stupid enough to leave their keys in the ignition.
"Ahh well. We made it at least!"
There was a girl crying nearby. He didn't know why exactly. Maybe he crushed one of her parents?
Nah, he didn't hear any squeals during their rolling trip.

Flare alighted on the ferry, not far on the heels of the damaged car. The demoness perched there, just waiting for the moment as the ferry picked up speed.

"People called this car a 'woodie'" Kit said to Athan, tapping the remains of the wooden panels, "They say they're not supposed to last very long..." He looked at the little girl they almost crushed, good thing they didn't, that would just put homcide on their list of crimes. "Looks like we're gonna walk again..."

Allen turned as the car slammed down onto the deck, lookign at the commotion. and then he saw the demomess fly onto the ferry. At which point his eyes widened, and he began to look somewhat angry as he pointed at her.
"You! You're the one from Carter City!"
He was, obviously, talking about Flare.

Christopher Omaly was a kindly old buzard with a head full of hair - though thick and grey - and a beard as long to his belly. His yellow poncho had been left at home for today. Not like he needed it - beautiful weather it was. Instead he was content to sit back in his seat and watch as his neice guided the boat across the calm waters. Lovely girl she was really - not a speck of taint to her. Why boy she'd be guiding this boat like a pro one day if her smooth handling now was any indication. ...Though he could do without her singing. "DANGER TO FALL IN LOVE LIKE THIS...DANGER..." Veronica was perfectly content to screech out the lyrics of her song - with the headphones tight on her head - as she guided the ferry across the way. Only swerving the smallest bit in her way. This all took place at the controls of the ship - far from the people riding. Mod Squad OOC: *Puts the fear into you all* This post is just random information.
