Seeing Pink Lemonade laugh, Midnight Snack couldn't help but laugh as well, even though he couldn't see his own silly overacting -- it was just infectious, the way the filly laughed, and part of him was just happy that she did, rather than, say, raise a cold eyebrow at him. It was one of those laughing fits where it was just hard to stop once one started, the reaction so much funnier than the catalyst. For a few moments, they just sat in that laughter, until Midnight was grinning a face-splitting grin while watching her wipe a tear from her eye.
"Sorry," Midnight said, his voice shaky from all the laughing. "Whoo! Just got away from myself a minute there. I meant to be more professional, scout's honor." His smile became slightly more impish.
He cleared his throat, but he couldn't manage to totally wipe the smile from his face. Professional, right! He could do this. "So, ah... what else can I get you? A demonstration, a glass of water, anything?"
