Luxor watched her, tilting his head to the side and frowning. He was not sure about all that. Pieces of history, elegant magic. He was hardly dressed, going by a name he knew nothing about, and his only weapon seemed to be a glove with no particularly stand out attributes.

"I will try not to just accept it," he said, with a very slight, rueful smile. He was a serious man, but he had some jokes in him, sometimes. And it was very difficult to believe that people could just accept any of this, as overwhelming as it was.

He let her look at him, though, embarrassed but not wholly unused to it. He was the ringmaster of a show, after all, so being looked at, in any way. Still, he wasn't usually wearing so few articles of clothing.

"Well..." he said, clearing his throat, "you seem to know quite a lot to me. It's more than anyone else has told me, so far. I didn't realize it was so... interesting, I guess. I thought maybe if I just ignored this whole thing it would... go away."

His wry way of joking managed to get a chuckled out of Zia, "Thank you!" She chirruped like a child who'd just gotten a pat on the back for an essay or something. The purposes of a guardian cat were simple-- awaken, guide, and supply information. She was incapable of the first two and often felt she failed the last spectacularly.

She when back to twisting her fingers, though, and her next statement was a very serious, and quiet, "There is nothing wrong with just wanting to be human, either." She wanted to be human, so badly, but at the same time her empathy was bottlenecked by the fact he had been born this way and she had been 'broken'.

And then she tried her very hardest to put a light spin on things. "Of course you probably shouldn't make any rash decisions before you go to space and see what it is for yourself!" She laughed, and was totally not trying to manipulate him into a trip to Pluto or anything. "And don't be so embarrassed of the outfit. You're totally not the first shirtless knight I've seen this month. And you have nothing to be embarrassed about, I mean damn."

Luxor pondered her words for a long moment, then reached out slowly and placed his hand on her arm in an effort to reassure. He had a weak spot for people in trouble, and helpless animals. She happened to be a strange mix of both, and he couldn't help but want to help her, if he could. He was stoic and quiet most of the time, but he had a heart in him.

She had found it rather easily, after all.

"Go to space?" he looked at her and his expression went completely blank. That sentence had caught him so off guard his brain sort of shut down in self defense. He stared at her for a long moment, his face absolutely unreadable.

mostly because he wasn't having any thoughts to read.

He comments about his appearance made life seem a little bit more normal now, and he nodded his head dumbly. He might have smiled, if he were better at it.

"I guess there could be something worse... or just wearing nothing at all. I'm just trying to... wrap my head around things. What did you say about space?"

Zia flinched when he reached out. It was something she felt bad about as soon as it happened, and ended up remaking the physical connection she'd just broken with a blush and a laugh in her own socially deficient way. Zia had a thing about people she didn't know reaching out at her, and while she was quick to love, she was very, very slow to trust. Much as she liked Luxor, she had just met him.

"Yes, space! To your wonder. Your sanctuary. It's-- oh, I don't even know your name."

Her lack of documentation for her first Pluto knight suddenly hit her and she fumbled to get her phone out of her jeans pocket. "Care to add to the databank?" She might as well be polite to him for his photo since she had declared them kindred spirits and all. Even if she was already aiming her open camera app.

"Anyway, your wonder. It's a place you in a past life or an ancestor of yours swore to protect. You can go to it if you say your words. And it's on Pluto. Which I have never been too, by the way." Hint hint.

"My name is..." he thought for a moment, though it came to him instantly. It was still strange to say it. His name was Luxor, while he was powered up like this, not Chester. He found it even more strange that he did not have the compulsion to introduce himself in the same way he had for his entire life.

No, it was almost normal to just want to say Luxor, and that was what caught him the most off guard. It shouldn't be that way.

"Luxor. Page of Pluto..."

He looked a little flummoxed, and he always got quiet when he was thinking too hard about something. He had a strong work ethic, and he powered his way through problems as best he could. It just took some deep thought sometimes, and he wasn't the best at being open and working with others.

Maybe he'd have to get better at it.

He let her take a picture though, blinking and wondering what she meant by database. She was gathering information on the knights? That seemed like a good thing to have, at least.

"Words? Wonder? How do I know what these words are? Oh, she would want to come with him? He didn't think he had a problem with that, it would probably be wise to have someone who knew something about these things with him if he ever decided to space trip to another planet, or whatever it was they were talking about.

"That... is fascinating." Maybe it was because he was just a change from the norm. Earth knights and Jupiter knights were coming out of her ears, and as much as she adored tearing through the stone city of Alfheim looking at the stone carvings and finding jewelry, something about it being family made it important and mundane all at once.

Luxor, and the concept of Pluto's knights, ended up exotic by default.

"But anyway. There's a place somewhere, out there," She waved an arm in a sweeping gesture up to the sky. "Named after you. Or you're named after it, I'm still not entirely sure how it works. But you swore a pledge to it. And it should come to you. Just like your name came to you."

Pledges were something she was familiar with, and something else she used to link them with Cavaliers. "So, you just meditate a bit. You should remember. We all get our memories messed up one way or another, I guess," She laughed, even though this wasn't the same thing at all, not even a little. "But it's okay! You can remember. You just say them and focus on your glove and poof! It'll take you back."

Luxor was still trying to wrap his brain around the idea that there was some alternate plane of reality out there where his planet or his Wonder or whatever it was seemed to exist, and he could visit it. He imagined if it was really there, it would have been found already, so it had to be in another realm of existence that he, up until the point where he turned into an Egyption-esque guard of some sort, had not bothered to ever consider before.

Now he was trying to explain things in his brain that he would never understand fully.

"Just like my name," he said, looking up at the sky thoughtfully. For all his confusion, his face was bland and he looked calm as ever. He was a stoic kind of guy, finding it difficult to show his emotions until the point where his temper snapped and he exploded in anger. That point was far off in this situation, though.

"It's that easy to go to a different world? I never thought of that before... but now I'm just accepting it as fact. I guess you seem to know everything, and I'm taking you at your word. I guess it's a good thing you trespassed here, huh? Turns out I learned more than I thought I would..."

Though he still felt like he was drowning, and the water was just getting deeper.

"It's that easy when it belongs to you," Zia said with a shrug. Something had pushed a button somewhere. Her inability to travel on her own was not a pleasant topic.

She watched his face, trying to puzzle it out. Usually she was good at spotting things in a person's facial expression, even if she couldn't always accurately interpret it. He gave away nothing and it was a weird combination of curiosity and frustration that led her to invade his personal space and touch either side of his face like holding still was going to help.

"Well!" She eventually decided to give up. "I think, you have eternity to figure it out, and tonight, you owe me a tour."

Luxor stared at her as she held his face, blinking in wonder at her interest. He was not sure if he had said something in specific, but he was patient enough at the moment, due to her being able to tell him what he was and what he could do eventually.

He nodded slowly, even before she let go of him.

"I do owe you a tour, you're right." He had to focus harder than more experienced members, and he closed his eyes to make it easier on himself but he managed to power down. He took a breath, sighing softly even though the process was actually effortless. He was just not used to it.

He motioned to the park.

"What do you want to see first? The big top? The rides and games?" They were kind of in the middle of the area, so they could just go around in a circle.

Zia's puzzled look remained. She had decided to give up, but she couldn't help it. His calm was almost confusing.

But her desire to actually cash in on her tour outweighed the temptation to just sit there and stare at him in the vain hope of wondering how the gears in his head worked. She spun on her heel to occupy the space next to him instead of in front of him, grabbing his arm with both of hers.

"You have a real big top?" She asked with wide eyed wonderment. "There, take me there!"

Which was only the first of many demands of the night.
