  What is something to everybody
Voicless it cries, Wingless flutters, Magari answered kindly to the question but couldn't talk more as Alex started making a fool of himself with the spaghetti. "Alex stop that!" Nichole scolded the young boy. "But but but but its fun....." He said back to his grandma. Seth, Holly, and Magari just chuckled.
Its nice to have moments like this in these days... Holly was savoring the moment for every last drop of happiness she could. Nice happy family moments like this help deal with the trouble everyday life causes a power-user or power user sympathizer. Hmm? Did a party just start down the street....maybe at the....Jeffersons? That elderly couple?....Probably just passers by....

Arwin pressed a button on his headset that sent the signal through to the VTOLs. Immediately the VTOLs fired the large rods into the ground around the house and the power field quickly consumed the house. "All units move in. We can bring them captive for the research, but I'd rather see them all dead. Do as you wish." The men charged towards the house, their rifles raised and aimed towards the doors. When they reached the front entrance, they got next to the door in breach positions. "Three, two, one, go!" The soldiers kicked in the door and immediately looked to acquire targets within the room.

Voicless it cries, Wingless flutters, Seth and Holly both stopped chuckling as they felt something odd. Seth realized quickly from what he heard from others, this was a power nullification field. The fact that he couldn't feel the crystal was proof enough of that.....Not to mention the flying crafts outside.. "Everyone we need to move....now," Seth said sternly.
"Alex hunny go into that room now," Nichole said looking down at Alex. The kid looked around and bolted into the side rooms just as a crash was heard at the front door. At that moment Holly flipped the table onto its side as Seth pulled Magari around behind it.

Immediately Magari's heart started racing. She could feel the connection between her and Seth get cut. Was this the group that had attacked the city multiple times before. Without her power, already she was feeling scared about everything happening around her. "Seth. What are we going to do?"
Arwin stepped into the house and looked around as his men spread out within the hallway. "Go. They are that way." Arwin could see the signatures through his detector. As the men started flooding towards the dining room, they came up to the entrance into the room and two of them looked inside. Immediately, they opened fire onto the tilted table. "Make sure to leave something for me." Arwin said as he continued to approach the dining room.

Voicless it cries, Wingless flutters, Holly smirked as they unloaded into the table. "Glad I convinced you to spring for the reinforced plating?" She whispered to her mother. Nichole mother opened a small compartment on the door and pulled out masks, which she handed to the others.
Seth held Magari as the shots rang against the table. "It will be fine Magari I will do everything I can do to protect you," He said to her. If they weren't watching us this would be so simple... He put the mask on after he helped Magari get one on herself.

Magari stayed close to Seth, not wanting to move unless he moved as well. But what were they going to do?
Arwin looked around the corner into the doorway and sighed. The men were just going to continue shooting at this rate and it was getting on his nerves. "Come on you idiots. Use your heads for once. Its best if we get them outside so fish them out already." Arwin reached into his bag and pulled out a small circular device. He pressed a button on the top and then tossed it. The device landed next to the table, just behind it and a small gel like liquid came out from the sides of it, sticking it to the ground. The weapon fire from the men stopped and them and Arwin stepped back around the corner. "This should work."

Voicless it cries, Wingless flutters, Nichole hit the switch in the compartment as the ball rolled behind the table. As she did gas vents started rapidly spraying tear gas into the house at an alarming rate. "s**t.." She said as she saw the device. Holly saw it pretty quickly and rolled to the window to start opening it up. Once it was open Seth helped Magari through first, then he was pushed through by Holly, who was then pushed by Nichole. Who then followed shutting the window behind her.

The bomb went off with a wondrous bang, but Arwin's targets were already outside the house. The call came through from the VTOL that had the window observed. "Engage them at your own discretion. I have some other problems to deal with." The tear gas quickly was filling up the room and Arwin started motioning his men to retreat out of the house, none of them having any gas masks of their own. Arwin however pulled his from the bag and placed it over his head. "Come now little prey. I just want to make this as quick as possible."
Magari collected herself when she was outside the window and then waited for Seth to come through as well. As she stood there, a noise from behind her caught her attention and she turned around, a large light turning on and somewhat blinding her. She raised her hand to try and block the light and then the laser fire started.

Voicless it cries, Wingless flutters, Just before the explosion Nichole hit a switch on the bottom part of the window frame. She turned and the explosion blew, cracking but not destroying the windows. Seth heard the shots and imminently pulled Magari to the ground as the fire started. Holly then helped the two start moving to under the deck. Nichole followed quickly as she could after as metal plating started covering the windows.

Magari got tugged to the ground right as a single laser cut straight through her side. She felt the burning sensation pulse in her side as she hit the ground, most of the shots missing the group. Immediately she placed her hand on the wound to stop what bleeding there was, but with how it was, it went straight through and through, bleeding from both the entrance and the exit.
"Are these people paranoid or something?" Arwin looked at the glass and raised his shotgun, firing a single pulse into it and watching as most of the glass almost turned to liquid, melting from the extreme heat of so many impacts. As Arwin approached the now open windowsill, he could hear that the VTOL's weapons were beginning to slow down. A call came on the return line and Arwin gritted his teeth. "Damn. So he has already noticed. Then I need to make this quick." Arwin knew now that a VTOL was closing in on their position and it most likely was being sent here to stop him.

Voicless it cries, Wingless flutters, Holly repositioned under the deck to lead them to the side exit where their fence and side of the house were close. She slipped out and between the house and fence deftly she held her ground waiting for the others to join her. Seth moved along as quickly as he could with Magari to not make her hurt herself more. Nichole stayed behind the two keeping an ear out as she heard the man step out onto the deck.

Magari cringed a bit as they started to move towards the fence from under the deck. Each step causing the amount of pressure on the wound to change. The rain was coming down harder and harder around them, pelting the deck as they walked under it. Inside she hoped they would get out of this okay.
Arwin stepped onto the deck and looked around, trying to figure out where his prey had gotten off to. The sheer amount of holes in the deck made him shake his head, knowing that the pilot was about as inaccurate as all the other grunts he had came here with. "Men. Once your done acting like idiotic little pansies, move around to cut them off. They are going towards the side of the house." Arwin smiled as he located them on his tracker and then fired multiple shots into the deck, burning open a large enough hole to let himself jump through. "Come on now. Stop running. There is no escaping here I hope you know." Arwin yelled towards them, laughing immediately afterwards.

Voicless it cries, Wingless flutters, As the full group got around to the side they could hear the movement of the solders around front from the other side. Nichole was unfased but clearly tired already. She went to part of the fence and pushed it open a flap hole in the fence leading into the neighbor's yard. They should be on vacation still...god i love living next to a gun nut. Nichole went through with Holly shortly there after, the two of them failed to realize how much damage Magari took. Seth was lagging behind somewhat as he helped her out from under the deck and through the small passageway closing it behind them.

Magari crawled out from under the deck and then placed most her weight onto Seth as they started to move towards the hole in the fence. She knew she just needed to keep pushing forward, but she could feel the effects of the blood loss and her body was starting to lose responsiveness. The cold sensation of the blood flow in her body reducing with each passing moment. She would've thought something so hot would've just burnt the wound shut, but she was not so lucky.
Arwin hated having to be under this deck. It was too short for his comfort; however, he had to follow his prey. He couldn't let Bren ruin his fun. As Arwin came out from under the deck, he saw two people starting to move towards a hole in the fence. "Kid. Why don't you give up? It'll make this all so much simpler, and you know you can't get away." Arwin laughed again and raised his weapon to shoot at them.
