Besides her family--and maybe Titus--Xiu was sure that this was the first dreamwalker-type student that she encountered in her years at Amity. To say that she was excited...well, that would have been an obvious understatement, if her still-waving tail was anything to go by. "Aah, me too! I initially had to have physical contact too--or at least, be really close--but I've learned to develop my power over the years. A few yards is no problem, now!"
Thinking back to how her powers had been when she had first enrolled, Xiu was aware that she had grown a fair bit over the past three or so years. Perking up at the question, the ghoul smiled and nodded eagerly. "Yes, that's right! I can devour dreams, and it's...it's kind of like wiping a slate clean, you know? Emptying it out so that I can manipulate the dreamspace and make it how I want it to be."

Rosy giggles as she too like the idea of finding another much like herself, as she finally had someone she could relate to. With a small nod, she place her fingers around the stone on her necklace "I have to have the contact, but this also must be on me at all time when I am in a dream. Its a heartstone, and without it, I can't actually do anything." she frowns at the thought, as it was a major reason she didn't really allow anyone to know about it.
Though with Xiu, she felt she could tell her.
Dropping the stone back down, she sets her drink down before pulling her knees up to her chest "I've never really met anyone with dream abilities outside my coven. This is pretty wicked actually." she smiles before pushing a few curls from her face.
"So have you been into any dreams, you instantly regret?" to say she was curious, was an understatement.

Perking up in surprise, Xiu regarded the heartstone with a tilted head, brows furrowing and her voice taking on an inquisitive tone as she looked up at the ghoul. "Do you only have one? What if you lost it?" The thought of being locked out of her powers was something that had never crossed Xiu's mind...though to be frank, it was kind of a scary thing to consider.
Tail puffing up, the ghoul frowned and motioned towards the stone as Rosy set it back down. "Though if you do ever lose it, or if someone takes it from you, let me know, okay? From one dreamwalker to another, I'd definitely help you get it back!"
And when it came to things like this, Xiu kept her word. Rosy's confession earned a smile--after all, she was in the same boat herself, knowing not many other dream-creatures outside her family--so she could definitely understand that. At the question, however, the baku reflexively winced.
"Well...a couple. Mostly when I was first starting out and couldn't control things as well, but I've found myself in some uncomfortable situations in dreams."

Rosy frowns alittle before she nods "At the moment, yes its the only one I have. I mean, if I lost it, I can get another. The problem is, I would rather not deal with having to get another one. It will not go well for me, if I have to ask for another." she visibly cringes for a moment as she thought of having to speak to her mum about another heartstone.
Though, the frown and the cringe were put aside for a huge smile as she realizes Xiu had her back, should something ever happen. With a nod, she chuckles "I will, without a second thought. And should you ever need help, I'm not to good yet, but I will come help you. Dreamwalker, to dreamwalker." she too, would keep her promise, more so then anything because of Xiu, and who she was.
Tilting her head, Rosy curls fell down around her face as she gives a weak chuckle "Do I ever want to know? I haven't been in any dreams myself, so I am kindof worried as to what I might see if I ever decide to visit someone's dreams." she had a person in mind, and the only reason she hadn't yet, was mainly because she just couldn't get herself to actually do it.

Seeming to catch onto the ghoul's meaning, Xiu winced sympathetically, her ears drooping a little. "Parents...wouldn't be happy, I wager?" The corners of her lips turned upwards in a weak smile as she shook her head, "I guess that's enough to encourage you to be very careful with it though, huh?"
When her promise to Rosy was returned, the petite baku grinned and gave another little wag of her tail, looking a little embarrassed as she lifting a hand to scratch at her cheek. However, when she spoke, her voice took on a warm and genuine tone despite her sudden bashfulness. "A-ah...thank you, I really appreciate it! That being said, feel free to let me know if you're ever having trouble, okay? Or even if you just have a question about the school--I'd be happy to help!"
Xiu beamed at Rosy for a moment before letting out her own weak little laugh, giving a little shrug of her shoulders. "For the most part, dreams are as you would expect--weird and make little to no sense. Sometimes though...sometimes you see things that the dreamer wants to keep hidden..."

Rosy just gave a long exasperated sigh as she nods "Pretty much, I rather not deal with my mother." giving a weak smile, she chews on the inside of her mouth for a moment before a real smile comes to her lips at the fact Xiu was willing to help her with anything.
"I will, I promise" she arches a brow as she thought about what Xiu said about dreams. Things a dreamer want to keep hidden?
This made her think of a couple of creatures for a moment. The ones she grew close to. What did they have to hide, not that she was one for actually invading dreams. She was just curious, that was all.
"It sounds like a very interesting way of learning about another creature. Though I do admit, even I wouldn't want a creature to learn things I'm trying to hide."

Aah, yes, she could understand that. Giving Rosy a solemn nod, the baku reached out and gave her ghoul's shoulder a light pat, lips curving into a smile. "You know where I live if you need a listening ear! And--ah, maybe we can exchange numbers later?"
It was always good to expand one's list of contacts, after all. At the comment about dreams and hidden secrets, she could only smile wryly, giving a little nod of her head. "Yes. I mean, unless you're a lucid dreamer, you don't have any control whatsoever over what you dream, right? So sometimes I've seen things that really weren't meant to be seen by me..."
Thinking about, her "big brother", Shun, was one of the first people whose dreams she had dived into. He had been none too happy to learn that she had been poking around either, though considering their sibling-like relationship now, Xiu was truly happy that he hadn't decided to hold a grudge or anything.

Lucid dreamer...
Rosy made a mental note of this, wondering if anyone she knew might actually be one. Her mind went to her brother, wondering if he was. With a light shrug to herself, she smiles as she Xiu a nod "Yes, don't let me leave without exchanging numbers. Not that it would be a bad thing, cause then I would have another reason to come to the demon dorms beside Spi...Siku." she blushes as she nearly slipped, really glad that Spinar wasn't actually around.
Glancing over at the movies, she chuckles"So which one should we watch first?" she honestly didn't care at this point, she was just having fun.
After all, meeting another similar to her was the best thing ever.

Laughing, Xiu removed her phone from her obi and set it on the arm of the couch. "Here, I guess I'll put it here so I don't forget! And--ooh?" It took her a moment to realize who "Siku" was--she was still thinking of the name his kingdom self had given her King self--but when she realized who it was Rosy was talking about, the ghoul's lips spread into a mischievous smile.
"Oh?" She chirped up cheerfully, her voice teasing and light, "What's this about you and Siku?"
She let the question linger for a bit before grinning and going to retrieve the movies, spreading them out on the couch beside Rosy. "Mmm, they all sound good! The animated one, maybe?"

Rosy pale cheeks darken even more as she looks down "We're friends, we hang out. Watch movies in his room, hang out, normal stuff really." if it was so normal, why was she blushing. Looking up, she gives a weak smile as she push her hair from her face "Just friends, nothing more, nothing less." at the mention of the animated movie, she nods quickly.
"Yes please, it sounds pretty wicked." lifting ti off the couch, she holds it out to Xiu, rather glad to get the movie started so she didn't have to talk about Siku anymore.
Not that she now wasn't thinking about him.
Poor Rosy, she needed distraction, and quick.Kaiyumi So sorry hun, life then twewy ate me alive.

Mmm, just friends? Xiu gave the other ghoul an amused look but said nothing, perhaps deciding that it was best not to prod too much. After all, they were...technically just newly acquainted, after all (not to mention that she didn't really have a place to poke her nose into in the first place). Lifting a mouth to stifle her giggle, the baku smiled. "If you say so," She chirped cheerfully.
Taking the offered movie, the ghoul gave her friend a grin before hopping off of the couch, sliding the disk into the player. As the selection screen came up, Xiu skittered off to the kitchen, returning not long after with a big bowl of freshly popped popcorn.
...A huge bowl, really. How two ghouls were supposed to finish it was a mystery in and of itself, but...
She settled down beside Rosy, tail swishing back and forth. "Ready?"Krista_Darkangel_Silme No prob! <333 Pretty much the same with me. :'DD I guess we can wrap soon as they start the movie, either next post or the one after that?

Rosy looks away from Xiu, her cheeks so warm, she knew there was no point in trying to hide it anymore. Instead, she simply act like everything was okay until she saw the popcorn bowl. That was a big popcorn bowl, but she did like popcorn. Grabbing a handful of popcorn, she pops a few into her mouth before she smiles to Xiu.
With a cheerful smile, she nods "Yup, lets get this movie party started!"Kaiyumi I think we can call this one done?
