If looks could kill Seiji would have been dismembered, chopped up and fed to the rats by now for the stare she was sending him. How dare he hold her like this! She, a Banshee of the highest Coven (Albeit one that had currently condemned and punished her!) was being manhandled by a ghost her kind wouldn’t spit upon if burning and heading towards a pre-school full of boils and ghouls.

And yet she wanted this passion he brought on so easily in her. She didn’t fight his pull that would unhand many, moving with him so her hips made contact and then shifted slightly. She wouldn’t give this boil anything without a dam good fight.

“Pfft, I did it once before didn’t I? Why would now be any different? And you, a mere echo of yourself! I am not one for sympathy Seiji, you should remember that. Your dilemma has only shown me your true colours, your feeble mind set. Why would I run to you willingly when you are half the boil you were... from the moment you first touched her Seiji you were damaged goods…” She grinned wolfishly, hoping her words would sting in all the right places as she moved into him, his height a disadvantage to her but one she could work around with the aid of her wisps. They were enjoying the tension just as much as she and were finding any available limb to wraps themselves around, Seiji was becoming just as trapped as she was by him. It was just how she liked it. She moved her free arm around his shoulder, not in a loving motion but one in which she could place her fingers on his neck, her nails resting threateningly at its nape.

“Your only redeeming feature is your ability to survive Seiji, like a cockroach… even after all you have been though, all those times you risked your life to save her, to make sure she was protected - your essence could have ended like that!” She snapped with her teeth near his ear as her fingers failed to work with the pressure of his hands on her wrist. She pulled away to make his grip on her tighter and took small pleasures in knowing he was close, fueling his anger, his passion. She wanted it to ignite the room.

There was something very familiar in the way those ghostly wisps moved to coil around his limbs, but that was as far as he allowed the thought to go. She was trying to trap him, as surely as he trapped her, but he had to wonder if those tendrils carried the same strength the boil had in his arms. He had been a burly brute in life, and in death that hadn't changed. It was hard to say if his penchant for athletics did anything at all to his body, but certainly all that running and weight training didn't hurt. So he let those wisps crawl over him, wrapping tightly around arms and body, and did nothing to stop them.

Instead he listened to every venom filled word that she sought to sting him with, but he was beyond that prickling now. It was nothing more then a rant now, and Seiji recalled their last meeting, and what had been said. She could play the heartless b***h all she liked, and pretend nothing touched her, but the boil knew better.

"As I recall," he murmured, voice a deep rumble that rose from his chest. "You ran away, and that's not quite the same." He hummed thoughtfully, the tips of his fingers tapping along her hip. "What was it you had said just before, again?" He paused, a grin splitting his lips, but not like she could see it. "You can't stop thinking of me. That was it, wasn't it?"

She snapped at his ear, and he let go of her wrist to catch her chin instead, moving her face so they were once again looking at each other. His eyes were still rimmed, but where they had been dull before, they blazed now. If Sarias had wanted to start a fire, then she was doing a good job. Her words, every last one, were a challenge to the jikininki. He'd always been a bit of a prideful beast, and he wouldn't allow this ghoul to continue to call him weak or worthless.

She had a point though. "I am a survivor, Sarias. I always bounce back." When she moved that tiny fraction of an inch away his arms tensed, holding her in place.

Her face dropped as if the ectoplasmic skin had come lose from the tendons and muscle that weren’t actually there and she stared horrified at his good memory. Had she really said such things? Had she really exposed those awful feelings to him so long ago? Her mind fluttered upon the memory like a bad movie reel and she recalled the moment of her ingenious plan to poison him, weaken him physically and then….well keeping him locked in her wardrobe had come to mind several times. Of course it had failed (like all her plans did) but she usually swept herself down and started again, no this time she had confronted him, screamed at him and then finally…

“Uhh…I had thought you had forgotten that…moment.” She had an effort to make her mouth sound the words as all it wanted to do was hang limp at the shock, her mind worked feverishly for an excuse. Any excuse! “ Well…well, let me be the first to apologise for what seemed like a confession of ridiculous proportions. You know I think of you for your…body, yes, your skills in fighting, nothing more deep or meaningful than that! Truly Seiji, do you develop emotional attachments with every little inanimate being or saying! I was merely intoxicated on the poisons I had inhaled making those spookies. Regard it as an act of venom induced stupidity!”

She was clearly trying to distance herself from this dangerous territory. How could she forget that horrible event! Her addled mind had failed to bring it forth when seeing him, only concentrating on how good it was to sense him again and then discovering him depressed. There were sections of her life she could no longer recall, the torture had seen fit to expose those from her memory but surely that would have been one she was allowed to keep! She held her core tight from any inner-swooning she felt happening with her rebellious talk of fighting back, to surviving. This was the Seiji she could bring to the fore-front of her mind, this was Seiji she had admired, this was who she had fallen in….“Ahh…You infuriated me jikininki! You cause me so much..uhh rage! I had forgotten how you drive me wild with it! If I could tear you in two I would! But your stupid form is so stupidly strong!” She tugged again at her hand, this time out of pure fear for herself. This was dangerous, she couldn’t let herself fall so quickly so easily back into what she had tried so hard to distance herself from.

Seiji may only be just learning not to trust others to depend on them but Sarias had learned it centuries ago and she wasn’t about to start here, not when she knew it was worthless.

Ah, that was better.

He watched her face fall, horrified at the memory of their last confrontation and the sensitive nature of what she'd confessed to him. It made his grin all the wider, and he suppressed peel of laughter that threatened t break free. The so strong Sarias, how rare it was to see her caught off guard. This really was making a fine distraction from the events of earlier that day. They'd come crashing back later, but for now he'd take her flounder excuses for her past actions.

"I have a good memory," he reminded her, dark brows arching upward. There was a definite note of satisfaction in those glowing eyes at her admissions. She was attracted to him then, and she was attracted to him now. It was there, in her eyes, the hesitation in her voice, the only half hearted attempts to free herself from his hold.

He did chuckle when she asked if he formed such flippant attachments to things. "It wasn't me who made those confessions last year, and It isn't me mentioning emotions now, Sarias." That was all on her. Her so clever attempts to talk herself out of the corner he'd backed her into. With each excuse and denial she was only digging herself all the deeper.

And there it was, finally some honesty as she jerked against his hold on her, voice raising. He released her chin, moving to place that hand with the other at the small of her back. She could push against him all she liked, but it wouldn't break his grip. He was uniquely solid for a ghost. He may not be able to pass through walls or float, but he was physically strong.

Now that he'd broken through the shield of spite and sarcasm, along with shaking off the crippling effects of heartache, he could see what there was to be seen. Not only did the ghoul have red lined eyes, but her arms were peppered with what he imagined had to be scars. They weren't there last year, and it made him wonder where exactly she'd been all this time, and what exactly had happened to her. Not so much out of tenderness, but curiosity. He card, but it was an unspecific sort. He didn't really like seeing anyone hurt, it was one of the biggest differences between the two of them, but Seiji could admit to himself that the ghoul before him didn't mean the same to him as she had so very long ago. They'd once been friends, now she was a means of distraction. A very attractive means of distraction.

Sarias grimaced at her failure to dispel this unfortunate train of events. Here she was minding her own business, gloating in the misery of others, enjoying herself and he had to turn it back on her! She remembered all the reasons why he infuriated her so! They could argue the chains of each other and he could always manage to get her to falter, to suddenly freeze up and forget her words, her anger. She hated him for it but also admired him for being the only one who could stump her. The amount of times she had fled from him when she realized she wasn’t winning was too many to count, but she could feel the familiar need to slip away becoming more apparent with every second.

“Fine! I did make those confessions you stupid oaf! But what they meant then and what they mean now are completely different. I was a child, even with my essence having survived centuries to this world I was barely a new born but now I have seen sense! And I will not let a little s**t like you make me blush and stutter over the words of a mere infant! Especially one who can’t even keep his ghoul!”

Her eyes blazed with a hatred she hadn’t felt in weeks, the hate she had known and harnessed within her time of punishment. Shackled and beaten she was scolded with an acid that melted her skin and burnt her soul. She had sworn a blood oath to revenge herself against the leaders of her coven, to bring them down around her feet for what they had done to her. To do that she needed to return to the school, to gain the skills she needed and obtain the pass to the human world. What she wasn’t going to do was let this boil ruin her within minutes of entering the building!

“Seiji, I am no longer who I was, I am and will always be more intelligent, skilful and better than you but what I am no longer is a fool! You seek a distraction from your pathetic predicament that is all! But I am no longer that ghoul to give it too you.” She moved her hands to position them on Seiji’s arms where her held her and pushed slightly, her intentions clear, her voice high and faintly wavering .

“Once I would have ran to you boil, I would have been your everything and so much more. We would have been two halves to one soul, that I promise. But you spurred me and I am too prideful to let you gain that much again. You may know more of me than any other being in this life but I will not have you as my downfall. Weep for yourself Seiji for all you have lost, you deserve no better…”

Handsome features closed down into a satisfied smirk as acknowledged the past, but the smile didn't linger. Whatever small pleasure he was getting from making the banshee stumble was short lived, and he didn't really understand why he was taking pleasure from it in the first place. Seiji had never been a cruel boil, not in this unlife, and he wasn't likely to start now. Still, he couldn't deny that seeing her flustered did amuse him, if only momentarily. He met that hatred in her eyes with cold indifference as she raved at him and push at his arms.

He thought about retaining his hold on her for no other reason then that he could, but in the end he let his grip loosen enough so she could drift back a few inches from him, those mismatched hands instead coming to rest on her hips.

Her ranting held merit. All he was doing, he was doing because it helped him forget that only an hour or so ago he'd lost something precious to him. He was trying to do what Junko had done. Shove all his problems and pain aside, focus on anything that provided an adequate distraction. It was hypocritical, but his refusal to deal with his unhappiness wasn't going to be hurting anyone else but himself.

For a while her words at lost the bite to them that they usual held. That she'd held when she'd first found him. Now the sting returned as she reminded him once again of what he'd lost. It made his hands tense at her sides, fingertips digging into her hips just a bit. "If you had run to me, I'd have turned you away." He wasn't entirely certain what was happening now, but he did know that he would have simply cast her aside if she'd fallen into his arms at the first hint of Junko's rejection.

Glowing red surrounded by a pool of blackness. Sarias' eyes mirrored his own, and he met that angry stare, jaw set in stubborn lines. If he let her go, would she walk away as well? Could he handle that? It would do little to add to the dull ache of lose that even now sat like a heavy weight in his chest, but he wasn't entirely sure his pride would fair as well.

He kept his grip, features defiant.

She knew it was true, there was only friendship between them, what little Seiji had over looked was a blessing. He had forgiven her many times and put up with her more times than he should. Sarias should have felt grateful for even a tiny part of what he had brought into her un-life. But the memory of being rejected and now his acknowledgment of the fact stung all over again. Yes she couldn’t let him past her defences, not until she was strong enough to banish him from her own thoughts, until she could destroy him too. She felt a smug warmth radiated up from her stomach, a fluttering feeling she had all but forgotten. Had she just gained an ounce of respect for the ghoul who had done this too him? Was Seiji the real enemy in this? Even now he was trying to use her, and she was not one for being used. She laughed loud and she laughed hard.

“You do not have to repeat what I already know Seiji! So let me be the one to return the favour!” She leaned into him, holding herself next to his body, squashing assets and other things together as she put her full might into the move. She snarled before forcing her mouth onto his, a cruel forceful kiss that would have drew blood if there was any to have. She felt the pain on her own lips growing and she pulled back before she lost control and actually started to enjoy this moment of hatred.

"I cast you aside Seiji. You no longer mean anything to me! I welcome you to your living hell, enjoy the sights and sounds of being heart broken you d**k!" With a push she separated herself from Seiji's hands and started making her way towards the exit.

He wasn't so much rejecting her now, as confessing that he would have had she simply fallen upon him the second she got wind of his and Junko's split. Really, that she hadn't, was why they were still talking. It seems though that she'd misunderstood his meaning a little, but really, what did it matter. He met those angry eyes, as she leaned into him. His own defiant though altogether unreadable. He didn't have a clue what he wanted from the ghoul now pressed against him. Not one damn clue, though he was quite unwilling to simply release her.

All those pale curves came to rest so very firmly against his front, and it brought a small grunt from the boil as he stiffened under her touch. The snarl wasn't entirely unexpected, though the kiss caught him by surprise. The way their conversation had been leading, he'd have sooner expected a slap. The shock didn't last though, cool lips parted under the bruising press of her mouth. It was rough, sharp, and ended all too quickly. She pulled away from him, and he growled in protest as she spat her parting words at him before going for the door.

There was no thought, only strong, dark fingers curling around her wrist to jerk her back around to face him. Her words stung, but not enough to erase the feel of that harsh kiss. The boil could be gentle, had been for years, but at his core it it wasn't gentleness that turned his crank.

His grip on that slender wrist was almost bruising as he dragged her back to him, free hand slipping up to tangle in the brilliant blue of her curls. Fingers tightening to hold her head still as he reclaimed those lips and banished all space between them again.

It wasn't a good idea, he knew that, somewhere in the back of his mind, but he didn't care. For just that moment he didn't have to think about everything else that had happened that day. Not about the ghoul that had broken his heart, or the demolished state of his room. It was a selfish thing, hiding behind a physical distraction, but he wanted to be selfish.

And maybe, just maybe, he knew how very much it would bother his now ex if she found out. It was incredibly petty, but he would take that satisfaction.

She was already for a storm off, her black heart hammering as she kept her composure in check. It was a farewell kiss, one in which he would morn the loss off but never have again. He would scream for her, oh yes, she would make that happen. But in her cruel, hateful, unforgiving way. There would be no space for him now, not now not ever. And as she reached the door her will was strong in this thought.

Until that hand grabbed her wrist.

Caught of guard once again she didn't register what he was about to do, only sensing the tight feel of his fingers over her skin which pulled and pinched. It was painful alright but one she could appreciate in her mind. One that spoke volumes about the frustration and lust behind it. It was forceful and strong and pulled her back into the room she wanted to see no more off, not with him standing there when she wanted him so much she didn't dare consider it.

"Seiji get off yo-" Her sentence cut short as she felt the shock of his mouth upon hers, his hand grabbing her blue roots which tugged forcefully, pushing her into him with a pain she desired. She moaned deeply dispute her need to separate herself from him but not gaining the leverage she needed. No, if anything she fell more into it, grabbing his shirt in her hands and ripping, her nails finding ectoplasmic flesh as she clawed and pulled at his clothing. No. This wasn't how it was meant to be, she was meant to be the one in control, the one giving all the shots, the powerful one! So why was his lips making her tremble? His rough movement making her bite her tongue to stop her groans from escaping. She slipped again into momentary bliss before fighting back to sense, her fist in tight balls of defiance as she pulled away from him, yet her eyes were dazed in passion as tried to refocus her lustful mind, her mouth failing to work.

"*No, uhh, Seiji, you,....I..Seiji....I" And that was it, she couldn't think of anything to say to stop this. She couldn't, not when she could have this now, not after wanting it for so long, how ever it came to her. And dam she was going to have it. She ran her hand down towards his longing and smiled her deep approval before leaning in and licking his neck towards his ears. She didn't need any second biding but just one request as she whispered into his skin.

"Make it hurt Seiji..."
