Solo #1- Baking with Mama

Tadashi could smell something delicious coming from the kitchen, the small Togepi felt his mouth watering. He toddled into the aforementioned room, to see what was cooking. Maybe if he was lucky, it was something with chocolate and whoever was cooking would let him have a taste. Once inside the currently warm room, he saw his trainer, Deanna, in her wheelchair, pulling out some brownies. They looked delicious and they pulled the young Pokemon to it, until he looked like he would dive into the pain. He was just about to dip one of his arms into it, when Dea put it out of his reach.

"Teddy, those are still really hot. You do not want to get burnt by them, do you? As soon as they are cool, you can have one...after a sandwich,"she spoke gently.

'Oh, I definitely do not want to be burnt, Mama. Can I have an egg salad sandwich please? Oh and can we have some chocolate chip cookies too?'Teddy asked hopefully, his brown eyes practically pleading. He saw Dea nod her head as she rolled over to the fridge, to make the requested sandwich.

"You know, maybe you would like to help me make the cookies,"she suggested, before handing him his sandwich. The Togepi began to eat the sandwich, his eyes twinkling at the thought of making cookies with her. He loved baking with his family, so took every chance to do so. He nodded his head in reply, before working on his sandwich until it was done. While he was doing that, Dea got out the ingredients they would need and put them into a bowl, Teddy watching as she did. Then she got a stool and wheeled it over to the counter, before motioning to it. The small Pokemon already knew what to do as he hurried over and Dea helped him up.

'I love making cookies with you, Mama. Do you think I could bake when I grow up?'Teddy asked, as Dea gave him a spoon to stir the batter with. She helped him with it, so he didn't make as big a mess.

"Yes, I really think you could. A cooking Togepi, would definitely be something new,"Dea smiled. Teddy jumped up and down, getting a bit of the batter that was on the floor all over. When he realized what he had done, he squeaked an apology, before helping Dea put the batter onto a sheet tray and into the oven to bake. While they waited, they each ate a brownie with a glass of milk, just enjoying each other's company. Once the cookies were done, Dea took them out of the oven to cool down.

'I will bake lots of goodies, Mama. And I will share them with everyone. They will make people happy, since most people love desserts. I know I do, ever since you gave me my first cookie. I will never forget how good it tasted,'Teddy beamed. Dea smiled at that, she was sure the little Pokemon would make a great chef one day. Looking at his face, she knew that her little one was going to need another bath.

"Right now, you are going to need a bath, you have some of the batter all over you. Lucy just finished bathing the twins, so better go tell her to give you one too,"she suggested.

'Okay, Mama. Though, shouldn't I help you clean the kitchen? I helped make the mess, I should help clean it,'he pointed out.

"Don't worry, I got it. And if I need help, I will call for Eilam. Go on, bath time,"she encouraged, Teddy running off to find his sister.

Solo #2 (star-finding)- That Doesn't Belong on a Cake!

Tadashi was standing on the booster seat on his chair at the kitchen table, a red crayon nestled into his right arm. He had a coloring book of Beauty and the Beast in front of him and he was busy coloring the cape of the Beast. He looked up momentarily, his eyes being pulled towards the chocolate cake that was sitting on the counter, cooling. Deanna had made it a little bit ago, it was to celebrate the day the small Togepi had popped out of his egg. His trainer had explained that it was a special day and it was like his birthday. She had also told him not to touch the cake, since they had to put candles on it later. It was so hard for the little one to keep from staring at it, but he was determined to be good.

'I can wait, it isn't going anywhere. Mama says that good things come to those who wait and I want good things to happen. Plus, if I touch it, Mama will be upset, and I don't want her upset. Though, would she notice a small bit of frosting missing? Yes, she would, I can't do it,'he thought to himself. He forced his eyes back onto the coloring book in front of him, determined to focus on it and not the delicious cake calling to him. He put the red crayon down and picked up a brown one, so he could work on Beast's fur. He also began to hum to himself, figuring it would keep his mind busy from thinking about it. After all, if his mind was busy, then he wouldn't be thinking of the thing that was taunting him. He kind of wished his trainer had put the cake in the fridge, but he supposed he would just have to deal with it.

Luckily, the combination of the coloring and humming seemed to work for quite a bit, until he heard something shoot through the open window. A look of surprise came to his face as he looked to see what it was. He figured it was probably a fly or something, but his eyes looked around to see if he could spot it. When he looked at the cake, he saw something glowing. Wait, that couldn't be right, he was pretty sure his mom did not put anything that glowed on the cake. It had to be his imagination, there was no other explanation. However, after blinking his eyes several times, he still saw it. Dropping the brown crayon on the table, he hopped down from his chair. He padded over to the counter, pushing over the stool he usually used to get up. Once it was in place, he climbed up onto it, so that he could look at the cake better. He listened for any sounds that might be heading in the direction of the kitchen. He knew if Dea or any of his family saw him up here, they may think the worst. Actually, he wouldn't blame them, he would be suspicious if he was in their shoes. It didn't sound like anyone was coming, so he turned his attention back to what was on the cake.

'Hey, that thing doesn't belong on the cake! It looks kind of like a star...I should take it off. Mama will be sad if it ruins her cake she made for me,'he reasoned. He reached out to it and the next thing he knew, his world faded to black.
