"No... I said that I'd take you to where you wanted, and to the person in charge. The ship's captain is the one who claimed that he already came this way." James didn't talk much. It made him a bit uncomfortable.
First he had to deal with that slimey reject and now he was taking a police officer to god knows what fate. Atleast he'd been able to take away her weapon, he'd convinced her that she wasn't leaving that island with a weapon.
The island came into view as James started his decension. As the helicopter was landing a red haired man with a jeep appeared to be waiting there.

Bobby nodded, as she had heard much of the information anyways. At least the story, and information hadn't changed. Who knew, maybe she'd get him. With a sigh to settle her stomach, the woman leaned forward as much as she could and smiled at the man, "Well, thank you then! You're service is appreciated." There was no harm in being polite, Bobby thought as she leaned back.
Glancing out the window, she saw that they were almost there...and with a welcoming party, no less! As they landed, the woman smiled like a child, watching the red-headed man as they got closer. She really did like flying, and landing in a helicopter had to be her favorite... it had such a feeling of finalization and a job well done.
Once they finally landed, Bobby undid the straps like an expert. By the time she stepped out of the helicopter, holding her hat so it wouldn't blow away in the copter's down-wash, the Officer was composed. She had a job to do. With a slight smile, Bobby nodded at the man, "So, are you in charge here? Will you take me to the perpetrator I've been following?"

"Ms. Renoylds... was it? I have no idea what your talking about. I just recently recieved James' communication about your comming here." Moreau smiled.
He motioned to the jeep "Come, we'll talk on the way to my facilities. Tell me what is going on?"

"Mrs. Reynolds," Bobby corrected, showing her wedding ring, "I'm married."
As told, she went to the jeep and got in. On the way there, Bobby told the story; "Well, some time ago, I am not sure how long it's been, John -my partner- and I got a call on the radio about a criminal that was spotted nearby. We went to the location and eventually found the man. When the two of us caught up with him, he ran. As we are trained, the two of us pursued on foot. At some point, the man turned and shot at us. While I wasn't hit, my partner was."
Up until this point, Bobby had been calm and collected. Here, however; her fists clenched, her eyes took on an angry appearance, and her voice become almost forced. "He was dead. I called for an ambulance. While I should have waited for him, I was not about to let John's life go to waste -and there was nothing I could do to save him anymore, so I continued the pursuit. I eventually followed the criminal to a boat. I snuck on with no troubles, but when it pitched forward, I guess the cargo became dislodged. I was hit on the head and blacked out. When I came to, there was a man that told me I would have to go with... James, I believe you called him. So here I am, hoping you can take me to the man that killed my partner."
The whole time, Bobby was looking around, not anywhere inside the jeep. At the end, however, she turned to look at the man with the bright hair, "I'm sorry... I didn't get your name."

"Doctor Nicholas Moreau... and I assure you if we have any dangerous criminals here my personal security will take care of it." The jeep drove towards the facilities.
"But if you would like to search the Island I would be glad to allow you. If you can make a couple of... consessions." Moreau smiled.
Moreau stopped the jeep. "There are two immunization shots you'll need, I wouldn't want you catching any rare tropical diseases. If you do find the criminal, you need to report to my staff as well."

"Nice to meet you Dr. Moreau," Bobby nodded but frowned slightly. 'Shots'? She didn't like the sound of that.
Getting out of the jeep, Bobby turned to the doctor. "I do not intend to be here that long, are immunizations really all that necessary? And if I do find him, how do I handle him? My gun and equipment were already taken.... am I supposed to hog-tie him with vines?"

"No Mrs. Reynods, as I said you'd need to let my staff know. I can't allow any unauthorized weapons on my Island. But I can provide you with accomidations, as well as clothing while your here. Unless you'd like to go wandering around in that." the smug grin was obvious.
Moreau shrugged "As far as shots, well, the diseases you can find on tropical islands are legendary. Most... won't kill you of course, but many of them will make you want to die."

Bobby's demeanor was starting to change slightly. She glared at the doctor and crossed her arms, "Actually, a change of clothes would be helpful... but as I said, I do not intend to stay long."
Finally, though, the woman relented to the idea of the shots. First grumbling something under her breath about doctors knowing nothing about pain, Bobby sighed, "Fine, then, I'll take the shots. I would like it to be recorded of course, the kind of shot, what is in it, and when it is administered. The Department would not like it if they find out I was injecting myself with drugs, and I do not want to give them anything to have them believe otherwise."

"Good, I have a kit on hand, so that you can get to your search immedietly." Moreau reached under the seat and pulled out two pre-redied needles. He'd already picked his serum for this one.
It was sterotyped to be sure, but it was a type of creature that he didn't have on his little island yet. He also wasn't going to let her go without microchipping her first.
"Turn around, and roll up your sleave. I'll even drop you by the village so you can start looking when we are done." he grinned inwardly.

Bobby pulled up her sleeve, her eyes never once leaving the doctor's face. After a moment, she turned around. Looking over her shoulder, Bobby looked up at him, "And the clothes? Did you want me to change out here?"
She didn't for one second think that an immunization that was sitting in his jeep was incredibly sterile and not spoiled... but at this point, she didn't care.

"Of course not," Moreau made a quick call. "The papers and the clothing are being delivered to your duplex... 34 is the number. It's where you'll be staying while your here." Moreau smiled as she had her back to him.
He injected the first serum into her arm, then he injected the microchip into her neck after dabbing it with a cotten swab covered in a medicine to deaden the nerves.
"Your all set Mrs. Reynolds." Moreau drove the jeep the rest of the way towards the village, and dropped her off in front of her new home.

Duplex? 34? Did he not hear her say she did not want to stay long? She was thinking 12 hour tops...this was just an island! Bobby got the feeling that Dr. Moreau was in some dillusion of denial... either that or was like all typical doctors and had selective hearing.
The first injection wasn't so bad. It reminded her horribly of a tetanus shot with how it burned initially... well, that arm would feel weird for at least 48 hours! The second, however... she did not like. After a second, the pain in her neck was excrutiating. Digging her nails into her palms and biting her lip, Bobby thought about how she preferred being in labour!
Without a word, however, the officer got back into the jeep and later stood outside her duplex for a moment. "Great! Just great..." she mumbled.

As Moreau was driving back he couldn't believe he'd actually taken the compound out of the facility. He was far too eager to be back. It's amazing what only two months away from this had been like for him.
Oh well, no harm done atleast though, and he'd be careful not to do so again. He sped towards the facilities, laughing part way along the way.

With one last look around, Bobby walked to duplex 34. The door was unlocked, so she let herself in. After her encounter with Dr. Moreau and the two injections -not to mention the aftermath of being kncked unconscious- the woman was incredibly tired.
Officer Reynolds stripped as much as she thought was comfortably decent in case she was suddenly woken up. She took off her hat and uniform shirt, folded the shirt, and took off the empty belt. Shaking her head sadly, Bobby opened some of the compartments to ensure herself that everything was gone. "Oh well," she sighed, "I'll get everything back when I get off this rock!"
Satisfied, the woman walked to the bed and sat down. While she took off her shiny black shoes, Bobby smiled and hummed to herself. Looking up, the officer caught her reflection in the mirror. Even though her white undershirt was long enough, Bobby stood and twirled as if it were a dress. If one were close enough, they could hear her humming to a wedding song.
All twirled out, Bobby eventually collapsed on the bed and dreamed of her wedding day.
It was the happiest day in Bobby's life. She walked down the isle directly behind her one-year old daughter, Patricia, who was the flower girl. A flush of pride spread through her body...for her baby girl was walking! Looking further down the isle, the bride saw the groom.
Trevor looked amazing in his sharp tuxedo. He smiled at Bobby, the love of his short life. The two of them waited for years for this moment.... and it wasn't a shock to anyone.
Finally, she made it. Standing beside her the man she loved, Bobby looked into his eyes and saw her own reflection. She was wearing a full-length white wedding gown... very lace-y and unlike Bobby, but it was her mother's as well. The veil was thin but gave an exotic feel to her dark face.
The two never took their eyes off of eachother throughout the whole ceremony, Patricia clung adorably to her mother's dress but never made a sound.
After the "I Do's", the rice, and everything else, everyone went to the reception. There was a spitted pig roasting in the middle of the dance floor... something that did not really happen. Bobby walked up to in her her dress. She was about to reach it when...
The loud knocking on the door, followed by a light 'thud' woke Bobby up. She stretched on the bed and walked over. Opening the door, the woman saw that there was no one there; only the promised package.
Bobby scooped it up and brought it in. Opening it up, she found a change of clothes and a manilla envelope. She opened up the envelope and read it's contents while changing.Forms On the day of Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at 16:24 GMT, Doctor Nicholas Moreau administered to Officer Roberta Reynolds two immunizations shots for tropical environment exposure. The first immunization was administered into the patient's lower bicep. 30cc of sus scorfa mammalian orthoreovirus serotype 3 was given to Mrs. Reynolds. The second immunization was administered at the back of the patient's neck, between V3 and V4. 10cc of monent videmus was injected. The names meant nothing to her, so she slipped it back in, making note of the Feral Labs logo that was on it. Well, at least she knew who she was working with!
Folding the last of her clothes, and inspecting her 'undercover' self in the mirror, Bobby was ready to go out and hunt the one she came here for.
