"I learned to play as a kid it was easier to panhandle and earn some money. Though the money and my guitar is how I started getting into fights...and winning them. Did a little bit of underground fighting, but it became unpleasant after I was knifed a few times. Once I could handle...twice pushed it...but that third time I walked."
He turned in time to watch her reaching into her top and a brow raised curiously. Was she seriously feeling herself up here? Holy shi....oh damn. Nope she wasn't. He leaned in to look at the pendant and smiled. "I think it'll make him smile, he needs a good smile."
There was a slight shrug and he shifted a moment to get into the sight of someone trying to edge to the stage. One look at the pissed looking Aggron and he sunk back down. a**.
"I've heard about these clubs that are opening...or have opened. I'm not sure. I'm gonna look into them, see if they're on the up and up and what not. Gotta Catch 'em All, and I Choose You. I don't know jack s**t about either beyond names. But they were recommended, so I'm hoping..."
He listened to her voice over lapping Jayme's and gave a soft smile. Seemed it was a popular song. Not such a bad thing in the end that she knew it. Jayme didn't have any original songs not that he didn't try. He just didn't believe in what few things he had written.
Jayme was on his feet then, still strumming the guitar as he sang a new song, the stool had been kicked away as he'd gotten up and there was a heavy back beat to the song as he got to the chorus.
Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in. So shame on me now. Flew me to places i'd never been, till you put me down oh. I knew you were trouble when you walked in...
"A cop huh? Mmm...I do love a good uniform...bet you'll look damned good in it Sol, and make a kick a** cop to boot. Plus...you'll already have your own cuffs and keys for sex." that one was pushing and he knew it, still he grinned.

Pandhandling? Arceus, just what kind of life had Urban lived? Sure, she'd had it rough before Cordelia showed up, but even then she'd had the pack to help her out. "Can't say I've ever done any underground fighting; just a lot of battling. It's all just a damn joke, though." It wasn't real fighting. Cordelia always stepped in before it got really good, and she usually woke up with some damn Chansey stuffing medicine in her mouth.
Solange shrugged. "Can't say that I've heard of them, but I can do some digging." Her mouth turned into an awkward smile and she start to put her hand on his arm, then thought better of it and let her hand drop. "Besides, I'm sure they're fine. Any place is better than this."
"Thanks. I'm gon-" And there it was. In one swift motion he had ruined it all with that ******** mouth of his. She dove in for a punch to his side, "Argh! You're horrible! First chance I get I'm going to beat the s**t out of your with a baton."

"Remind me to show you the knife scars some time. They're on my back so you can't see them here. Not easily anyhow." he shifted slightly, looking tenser by the moment. Something felt off. Maybe he was imagining it. He'd rather be wrong and worked up over nothing than lax and s**t happen.
"I'd appreciate it. Still, most anywhere has to be better than here, as you say. There was a low laugh as she punched his side, he let her, though there went his hand coming out to clamp on her wrist once her blow landed and he moved with the intent of twisting her arm up behind her while dragging her against him. Not that he was trying to hurt her. If she fought it he'd let her go.
"That sounds kinky officer." he laughed a warm sound then as he looked at her and winked, and he turned then. "Follow me, time to get the kid off the stage."

"Are you sure you want to show your back to me? I might just stab you once or twice myself, given the chance." Stab, then feel regret, get pissed over the regret, and stab him again. Such was life.
Solange allowed him to pull her close, and this time, she didn't even try to pull away. She didn't want to. Her revenge was still hanging on the hinges, but right now that was as far from her mind as possible. Sol closed her eyes for the briefest of moments to take in his scent, much like any dog would. Not only would it help her spot him easier next time she came, but he smelled really damn good.
When she opened her eyes, she stepped back, a little grin on her face, even while she scoffed. "Whatever." Solange followed behind him, giving the human from before a passing glare. If possible, he seemed to be fusing to his seat, he pressed so far down.

"Careful baby...I like me a little bit of pain, it can be such a turn on and you don't want to accidentally turn me on now do you?" the question felt more like a statement in the end.
Though he looked down at her, a slight grin on his face, it a sincere one however. It was nice having her right where she was and his head had tipped down, words forming on his lips as his breath played over her face lightly.
Urban let her go with a wink and he started to walk, slipping between two curtains and towards the backstage where he saw Jayme, with Reese coming towards. So he intervened. "Hey kid you have yourself some company. Lets get you changed then the three of us have some catching up to do."
Jayme looked up curiously but his eyes brightened to see Solange behind Urban and he ran towards them a bright smile on his face. "Solange!!" pure joy colored his voice as he of all things hugged her.

"Trust me; that's the last thing I want to do." Solange gave him a once over, as if she hadn't just shut him down.
As she walked, her heels clicking on the floor, Solange was vaguely aware at how odd it felt to be in this place. Not odd in a bad way, but odd that she felt more comfortable here, hiding in the shadows and bickering with Urban, than she did on expeditions with Cordelia. Sitting in the woods in the din of the early morning, taking snap shots, and eating acorns just wasn't up her alley.
Solange laughed and wrapped her arms around Jayme, going so far as to lift him up in a bear hug before pulling back, though far from letting go. "You were so awesome tonight! I get chills every time I hear you sing. Oh, here, I got you a gift." She reached into her top and pulled out the Teddiursa necklace.

"Yeah something told me as much." he smirked some, he wasn't buying it for a minute. His pride didn't allow him to accept that she didn't want him. Yes, he was an arrogant a**.
He was more than aware of the stares of people as they walked back there and stopped a few of them in their tracks with his sudden piercing look as if to say 'Back the ******** off she's with me!' they listened to the unspoken warnings.
Urban chuckled as Jayme squeaked at being picked up, cheeks flushed as he was set back down to his feet. "You do? Really? Oh wow...thank you! That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said about my singing!" he was smiling shyly, but oh the pleased look on his face!
"A gift for me? Really?" oh the stunned look on his face as he took the pendant and looked down at it in awe. "Oh wow Sol...this is so cute thank you!!" and there he went hugging her again tightly with a laugh before holding it out to Urban. "Please?" "Tch kid..." he grumbled good naturedly but took the pendant and carefully put it on so it wouldn't catch on the choker already being worn. "There...looks good on you." "Thank you so much no ones ever given me a gift before."
"Go get changed kiddo, the three of us are going out for awhile." Jayme nodded and went into his dressing room then and got out of the really nice dress he was wearing and changed into a more casual and comfortable one, and grabbed his cardigan before he was stepping back out of the room. "Alright we're off. Come on kid." he turned to Sol then and grinned. "Come on sexy momma, lets get this show on the road hm? Didn't I promise to play guitar for you? We'll go to my place so the kid can get some rest in peace."
His plan was simple, stop at his place and play a few songs on the guitar for her, drop Jayme off so he could get some peaceful sleep, and bug out of there with Solange and convince her to go hit a club with him or something.

"Of course I like it! How could I not? And if that's the nicest thing you've heard, you really need to get out more." Solange grinned, cocking her head to the side. Everything about her stature resembled a dog, right down to the perked ears and wagging tail.
She stepped back, watching as Urban helped Jayme with the necklace. It was kind of funny; how Urban could act around Jayme, as opposed to how he was with her. Rude, domineering, perverted, and egotistical. Thinking about it was almost enough to wipe the smile right off of her face.
Without belt loops to slip her thumbs into, Solange was left with propping one hand on her hip and letting the other free fall. Not that it mattered. Within a seconds time she was reaching out to punch Urban in the arm, a low growl slipping through. "Call me that one more time, and you'll be playing that guitar with your teeth."

Jayme scruffed his foot over the floor lightly, looking shy at Solange's words, a warm smile given to her. "I don't get out much at all...as much as Urban is able." which wasn't as much as either would have liked. Jayme couldn't help smiling at the perked ears and wagging tail from his friend it was adorable!
Urban had his moments where he acted the same around Jayme, as he did Solange, but he'd gotten better about that in recent months, saving that for his bad days more than anything else. Or, when he was teasing Solange.
There was a laugh from Urban as she punched him, and he leaned in. "Once the kid is settled and I play a song or two for you, we'll go hit a club or something. He can use the peace to get some decent sleep I figure. I did say I'd show you I can dance after all." he grinned at her as he said that.
Jayme stepped out wearing a different dress, much simpler than the one he'd been wearing for his performance a light weight cardigan, that gift from Solange settled where it was visible. "Ready to go?" "Yeah I am." he was looking forward to getting out of there. "After you Solange." Urban gave a smile as he extended his arm for her to walk ahead with Jayme.

Solange's cheeks burned a dark mahogany, and she gave him a dubious look. Well, her plan had already gone fubar, so maybe she could start phase two at the club. But clubbing with Urban? ********. She didn't even know if she spent that much time around him if she'd be talking in English when she got home, let alone with her clothing intact.
She rolled her eyes at Urban before smiling to Jayme, and starting up a conversation. It didn't matter what she said at this point; she would be torn between the sweetheart at her side, and the predator at her back. The whole thing had her on pins and needles.
Tonight was either going to be gloriously amazing, or Urban's idea of a good time.
Maybe even both.
