Anubis nodded to Cariad "Fenris did insist upon her joining us, he is taking responsibility for her after all." she replied to the Hero. Then, she focused on Fenris, he seemed to really be the only one that would ever say something of real use to the team anyways "I'll work on a base of operations for the team... I have a few hideouts... but I don't think they're hidden away enough to suffice... a new base of operations will be required."

Anubis let out a sigh, she looked at the team, Cariad, Azura, Fenris, they needed a bigger, better team then this, not just a base. Anubis walked up to Fenris "He speaks the truth... but that isn't the only concern..." suddenly, an explosion came from the Palace of Avalon far into the city. The building was towering over the rest of the city, so it was easy to spot "It seems the Emperor has already been challenged. Anyways... we need a team that isn't just made out of the four of us... and our team seems like it could do little save just blowing up everything in front of us in battle... we need some variety."

Azura frowned when her idea of a big and beautiful base was rejected. "What about floating things?" She said as she was referring to an airship. She than heard an explosion coming from the palace. Her head turned and looked before glancing back at Anubis.

Anubis stroked her chin for a moment in thought "I don't even know where to begin... there are many Heroes... every just extraordinary individuals whose talents are valuable to us... but I am not sure what their loyalties and motivations have in store for us..." she explained, it was one thing finding people that could be in the team, and a whole another task deciding whether they fit or not.

"Oh oh me can be use for sneaking. I can turn into a fox.. see see." She closed her eyes and begun to glow. She slowly shrunk and transform into a black, three tailed fox. She nuzzled the way out of her clothes. "See.. still needs work though..." She said through telepathy.

Anubis nodded to her two allies "Yes... those will come in handy soon, I-" an idea suddenly came to Anubis. A man she knew, yes, he would come in hand. A small smile appeared on her face "Have you ever heard about aliens before? I know one... an actual man from another planet... care to meet him?" she asked, staying very cryptic.

Anubis smiled to Fenris "Then how about we go and meet this alien so I can show you..." Anubis replied to Fenris "A peculiar universe we live in. It isn't what you would believe. Our universe is that of thousands, millions, of mirror worlds, each one different, yet alike in many ways. One could not simply get on a ship and fly to another world... they are isolated... almost like different dimensions. This man somehow ended up here from another world regardless of that rule." she explained to him "He's proof of the universes' incompetence."

A building to the left of them seem to spit out, or in the man's case, crashed through the building and landed next to the group, skidding across before he hit another wall. He shook his head slightly as he he brought the right demonic-like gauntlet up to his head. "Ow.....man...guess prototype means prototype after all...even for flight." He said as he looked around, seeing Anubis, a strange cat, and a guy with a death mask for a face. "Um hi?" The guy said with a small chuckle.
