There were few things less inconspicuous than a bright red haired witch darting through the trees. But then again, Belladonna was almost always hard pressed to do anything with a less than overly dramatic flair. In fact, being conspicuous was so far out of her vocabulary that she did not at all succeed in being very sneaky as she slunk through the forest in a much smaller and less frilly outfit. Instead, she tended to shuffle through the leaves and squeak when she thought she might trip. Because it seemed appropriate to wear bat winged sunglasses (the height of spy fashion, thank you very much), this tended to happen quite often. Actually, after nearly crashing into a tree she decided the sunglasses weren't so great an idea and pushed them up to rest atop her bangs. Unfortunately by this time she'd reached the other group and flashed all those gathered already a bright smile.
"Hi hi all! So glad no one was caught sneaking out~" She chirped to the group with an energetic wave to Roch.

With a tiny bounce the witch hopped over to Mort and wrapped an arm around his before she was up on tip toe to press a light kiss to his cheek.
"Hello love, hi Alexander! Looks like you two are getting better at sneaking around too!"
PostPosted: Mon Mar 18, 2013 10:28 pm

Alexander really had no prior plans when Mort had come knocking on his door, so there was no reason to say "no" when it came to actually going out and doing something. He eyed the flyer with a certain amount of interest, then grabbed a backpack to shove a few essentials inside, namely his first aid kit from nurse crickets class, some jerky strips, a book in case he got bored, and his skateboard in case whatever they were doing required him to move quickly, though whether he would even be able to use it in that given moment remained to be seen.

He trudged along, slouched over with his hands buried in his pockets, hair covering his eyes. He didn't miss Mort's muttered words, and he glanced up, extracting a hand to swipe his hair to the side before giving a solemn nod to show that he understood. "Don't worry, I'm sure things will be fine." He gave his zombro a smile, and though it was forced, it did look earnest enough. Whether he meant with the trip or his buddies condition though...well, really it could have been either.

The sound of music filtered through the trees and to his ears, and he kept up his slow and steady pace until they arrived in the clearing of doors, a feeling of excitement rushing up inside of him. Travel, exploration, knowledge. These were the things he craved almost as much as brains.

Spotting some fellow students that he recognized, he gave a cheerful wave to all of those he remembered from the Skario Kart meeting, "Hey!" he gave a very generalized greeting to all those gathered, before Belladonna was just suddenly...there. He offered her large smile as well and carefully sidestepped away to give her and Mort some more space, turning his attention towards Michi and reaching out to poke her in the shoulder with his index finger.

"Should've known you'd be here. No parties worth your time to visit tonight?"

HI ALL OF YOU

She winked at him? He gave her a small smile back before taking his hand back. She didn’t seem too bad. Andrew turned and greeted Mort and Alex, tail swishing away from the zombies. “Yeah just like Scario cart.” But with less dogs, something Andrew was very happy about.

Was that Olivia, she was standing… a little was away. He smiled at the ghoul and gave her a small wave and spotted several others from Scario kart club. He might have waved at them as well.

“Oh, sneaking out isn’t that hard. You just go for a walk and don’t come back.” Andrew grinned.

Being the Dragee rather then the Dragger was not at all fun, or appealing, or anything positive that Shaheen could think of as Shik hauled her out of the lost clans reserve and straight into some kind of student infested hell zone.

Okay, time to at least attempt to find something good about this. It was in a forest, that was definitely a plus. Shik had let her grab her robe to throw around her shoulders to hide most of the swirls of insanity that etched their way across her skin, that was also something to at least be grateful for. Oh, and he was holding her hand again, even if it was in a vice like grip that was on the verge of breaking the fingers in her hand. It still felt...nice, for some inexplicable reason. Almost comforting in a way.

And then he dropped her hand as soon as they arrived, and the good feelings got dropped with it. She hunched her shoulders a little, her fingers twitching beneath the sleeves of her robe with the urge to summon her dagger which she was just barely suppressing. Shikoba Len was just standing there, drinking it all in, while she practically hid behind him, which was not easy to do considering her height and her impressive set of wings.

"You promise I will get to kill something soon, yes?" She hissed at him from her position, which was behind him, putting him in between herself and any prying eyes.

Mort gave his zombro a grateful look and a pat on the arm as a silent show of thanks. While he felt in control, well . . . part of the Insanity condition was its unpredictability . . . And he had been doing his best to prolong its spread through sheer willpower.

"Party, huh?" he said to Michi with an easier grin. "Worry 'bout schooling some. Should be 'shamed zombies go faster in years~! Though should t-text me again if plan another LAN party." He could use some extra fun when not charting out Scario Kart variances, staring at books about artifacts, or otherwise tring to distract himself from the whispers in his head.

Andrew's statement drew a chuckle and wry smile. "Seems like, huh? Though wouldn't underestimate possible patrols . . . Heard Miss Moira's 'bots are pretty solid subduers." He knew this from experience: he and Alex had gotten involved in a tussle with them waaaay back when. Funny how long ago that seemed now.

He wasn't terribly surprised to see Belladonna once again dolled up in style and half expected her to have tried riding over on her broom even, his shoulders relaxing some at her greeting. Rather than a verbal greeting in return, Mort slid away to avoid the heat aura radiating from the fire demon and more towards the frosty one. Cold yes please. While Andrew's retraction of his tail was a welcome effort that he nodded his thanks at, some fears couldn't quite be overridden just yet - especially when his condition made him cling to the more familiar. "Ah, is lucky cold one walks here . . . Don't mind me," he said to the demon and the ghoul with him, remembering her from Scario Kart and returning her wave. "Just like t'be colder. Dunno what will be like in Thanksgiving, s-so want to prep."

If they had to go through an ordeal like Valentines, he might just re-die.

He clung a bit to Bells with the rising number of people bringing on a sense of social anxiety (after all, she was the social butterfly of the pair), but he did notice Olivia being a bit isolated and beckoned her over. The more cold undead, the better. That, and he wanted to introduce his ghoulfriend to the first year that sorta reminded him of her; well, a quieter kind, but one that had the eyes pat down. "M'guessing is first trip out've school?" he asked the wight congenially.

There was so much going on and the red skinned ghoul loved it. This was the sort of thing she enjoyed, when there was a lot going on and you couldn't keep track of all the conversations. She looked up at the fire demon, shrugging her shoulders. She wasn't sure what he meant about sneaking out, she didn't want to sneak out. She wanted to figure out what was exactly going on. "Alrighty then! Noted!" Michi merely rolled her eyes at Mort though, smirking as she did. Being kidnapped by her parents was what happened, and she really didn't care what year she was. This was all one big party. "Don't worry, I'll invite you along Mort!" If there was Lan party, or a regular party, didn't matter. But then there was Alex and Michi was grinning all over again. "Hey you!" She giggled and moved forward, throwing her arms around Alex for a quick hug, before tugging on his tie a quick moment. It seemed like this day was going to be a good day after all, whatever was going to happen.

Most of Olivia's intention of standing a little far off was to get a better view of the group, because if she stood so close then picking up all their conversations would have been so much harder; having to move her head so much and all. And what interesting conversations already; Andrew seemed to be making a new friend who was giving the undead she had met at the club meeting a hug, another ghoul was arm and arm with Mort and there was a very interesting pale demon and a very interesting looking green-ish ghoul and even some Horsemen. The wight was loving this.

There was something about patrols also, and Olivia hadn't realized this was all about sneaking off. They were sneaking off? She blinked a few good minutes before realizing Mort was motioning to her. An invitation, just one was all it took like always. She put on a big smile when she finally joined the group fully - a little sad her wonderful view was gone and now her body had to work on adjusting to the growing warmth. Now she could give a proper greeting back to Andrew, a small wave and a quiet, "hello, Andrew." Followed by one for everyone else, just not personalized.

"I went to the Scarefari," she told Mort upon turning her attention to him again. "It was my first trip here," that was fun and she had collected so many neat objects. "And before that, before here I went to their islands." She gestured a little pointedly at the Horsemen.

In all honestly he had kind of zoned out for a moment, thinking about various things but nothing in particular. He had caught more creatures arriving but again didn't pay much mind to any of them. When his vision was block he blinked into the darkness, lashes dusting against the set of palms that dared to black him out. Luckily he had kept his cool and by the time the question was chuckled into his ear his tail had found its way up and curled around Rosy's leg. "...Hm. I'm not good at guessing games, can I have a hint?" Teasing he pulled his head back and into the ghouls chest, from the new position he grinned up to her, "you're late." Of course she wasn't but she had arrived after him and had forced him to wait.

Others conversations were not important to him at the moment but of the small acknowledgements that were given to the crowd in general he nodded his head back to and flashed a grin. Slipping from Rosy's hold he undoes his tail from her leg and closes his eyes on a teasing hum, "I'm glad to see you didn't get lost or followed" Spinar shook his head remembering the brother Rosy often told him about and what a right pain he sounded.

From the corner of his eye he caught movement and turned to offer a curious eye to the boil that chanced closer to them. Oh jack a zombie. He knew by now that the cold he threw off was like a magnet for them, not that he had much more than the smell to complain about with the few of them he had encountered but he was seriously considering charging a fee.

Hearing the others reason for coming closer he couldn't help but chuckle, already knowing and amused that he was right in his guess. Spinar's lips pulled up at the ends in an amused grin, "not a problem, its much better to be cold in my own personal opinion." He teased slightly and shot the boil a casual wink before grinning at Rosy, "Siku." He offered a small non-formal intro to the other since well he was there and he didn't smell nearly as bad as most undead so Spinar didn't have a real problem with him being close. Looking to Rosy he commented absently to her and anyone that bothered to listen, "I wonder what Thanksgiving will hold in store.." Stretching he shot an impatient glance around the boil was growing a little restless now that he was focused.

Rosy cheeks darken as she shrugs a little, just body drifting back down until her shoes touch the ground "I am not, your just early." she crossed her arms as she sticks her tongue at him. At his comment about her brother, she nods a little "You don't know how hard it was for me to keep this from him. If he knew..." she knew her mum would hear about this, and she be going back home to the coven real fast. She tries not to frown as his tail slips away from her leg, kind of wishing he just left it there.

She was starting to find it as a way that kept her calm.

As she watch Spinar glance away, she turns her own eyes in the direction his went to see Mort and a few others move closer. She gave a friendly smile to him, not at all minding that he came over to them "Mort...right?" As Olivia comes closer, she realizes she knew her from Scario Kart Club also. She smiles to her then chuckles "So many from Scario Kart Club...I thought this was a trip to Thanksgiving?" as Spinar spoke his name, she couldn't help but smile.

With another small wave, she chews on her lip "Rosy, just in case." she was also curious what Thanksgiving had in store for them all, she just didn't say it out loud.

The music finished and Roch--the purple haired fellow, got to his feet and headed a few steps into the trees. He came back carrying a huge pile of cardboard boxes. He had been thinking about this for a bit, and considering not all of them could pass for harvesters, they needed something that'd let them fit in.

He placed the boxes next to the turkey tree, leaving it for the moment as he looked over the group. He recognized some of them, but to his surprise a lot of people he didn't know were coming along as well--and were those horsemen?

Well... this would be interesting, he thought with amusement. But rather than talk to them (he figured he'd give more time in case more of them were coming) he grabbed a bottle of water from one of the boxes and leaned over, pouring it over his head.

Sin had been pretty excited about going on this little trip, a chance to explore yet another realm, broaden her horizons. The trouble was after she decided to go she realized that not having the schools permission was a huge problem. In fact it was a problem that loomed and loomed over her until she'd decided that she shouldn't go. Sin had never really broken school rules, and even so she'd managed to get into all sorts of trouble! She hated to think of what sort of trouble she'd find by leaving Halloween without the schools permission. The argument had gone on and on in her head, after all she did want to learn about the other worlds perhaps someday she would become an ambassador for Demons or learn how contracts could be made across worlds. Then she was reminded of ChristmasTown and Valentines and the danger that had stalked her in those worlds and that was with Trick or Treaters and Professors! No, no it was foolish, dangerous, reckless! She wanted no part of this little adventure and so she found herself walking towards the gathering of students to tell them she wasn't going, and to caution them against going. Not that she'd rat them out, but really she'd feel awful if anyone got hurt or…killed on her account.

Sin carefully picked her way through the trees, she'd worn her usual black, but her boots had a much lower heel than was her usual and the outfit clung to her skin instead of billowing with lace or sheer frills, she'd been learning to blend fashion and practicality.

"Hello everyone…" She said it loud enough for all of them, but she was looking at Roch.

"I've been thinking about this, and Roch I've decided that this could be pretty dangerous without having the school's permission so I-" She realized who else was in the gathered group and paused a long moment.

Her eyes trailed away from Roch and settled on Mort and Belladonna, they were going? Her spine tensed up and she felt her nails start to bite the inside of her palm. She could still walk away, if Bella and Mort wanted to go that wasn't her fault. Besides what could she do to help them anyway, what if she ended up getting hurt just for going along to try and keep her friends safe. That was completely foolish! She wasn't going, she'd already decided that!

"so…I just thought we all better make it a point to stick together…" She finished off and looked a bit wide eyed, almost surprised at her own words. Jack dammnit!

She turned and stalked off to one side crossing her arms and looking rather put out. What was that? What had happened to her resolve? Why was she sticking her neck on the chopping block for a reaper and an undead, friends or no friends…friends…they were her friends. She just hoped that no one was injured, maimed, killed, or sent to detention for this.

She noticed that Alexander was present as well and offered him a slight wave, she didn't need to get all friendly with more people…or she'd end up finding herself indebted to help everyone, like an idiot.

Standing straight, Roch started brushing his now wet hair so it hung down one side of his face. Then he reached into one of the boxes and pulled out a cowboil hat, plopping it on his head. When he had done that he glanced over at Sin.

"I dunno," he said honestly. "I've died WAY more times on school sanctioned trips than I ever did just skippin' out without permission. But if anyone thinks they need a big bad teacher t'hold their hands for this thing instead of a simple hob, I'm willin' t'accept that--and let them stay home, I guess. I'll be the first t'admit I came home with a black eye last time I went t'Thanksgiving. Then again, it was my fault."

He grinned, shrugging. "I'm not here t'tell you what t'do, really, I'm just here t'tell y'how you might wanna do it--simply cuz I've been there before. If y'don't wanna do it at all, I won't hold it against you. If anyone needs instructions on how t'get back t'school, I can point you in the way," he called to the group at large.

Then, belatedly, he added, "Course just stayin' together works fine for me." The doofus. He'd just been expecting a more definite set down for taking students out of Halloween.

Although the witch was content to stay with Mort and keep him company, as well as a bit grounded during the outing, Belladonna was nearly bursting to go chat with everyone. So many new people! So many new friends! All going on a fun journey to... Thanksfulland? Maybe her memory on the actual name was a little spotty... Whatever, the destination didn't matter, what mattered was the friendship and camaraderie they would all share! The trials and turmoils they would face together and come out stronger for it!
Also hopefully with loot. Because what was the point of going to visit a new and exotic land if one didn't return with a nifty trinket or two. Or two dozen. Whichever.
Since the group was pretty small to begin with, the witch flashed a smile to the ice demon, before she maneuvered to Mort's other side in favor of chatting with the blonde demon.
"Hi! I don't know you! I'm Belladonna Divine, I adore your hair color, are you a friend of Alexander? Alexander is very pesky I hope he doesn't bother you!" She chirped at the ghoul in a bright voice, veritably bouncing up and down to meet people.

And because someone had said it, the witch turned to Rosy and beamed at her too.
"Oh its Thanksgiving? I was calling it something else by mistake, oh well. Its so lovely to meet you Rosy! Belladonna Divine~ That scarf in your hair suits you quite nicely!" It seemed ridiculous to curtsey, but what the heck. The witch was an over the top ghoul anyway, so she did.
Next she blinked down at the little blue undead and tried very hard not to hug her.
"Goodness you are absolutely adorable! But I do not think I caught your name!" Here the witch looked pointedly at Mort, expecting him to do the introductions since he had been the one to wave the little ghoul over.
And just as she was about to flutter off and try to meet the rest of the group, someone spoke up behind her and the witch turned.
Oh, it was Sin darling!

For a moment Belladonna stood there and listened, her arm still looped in Mort's, her stance finally softened and not quite so bouncey. The words that the succubus spoke did not sound very promising, of which the witch could not at all blame her. The poor darling had been through some rough excursions and Belladonna was half afraid that Sin might still be mad at her for that odd other life adventure. (Even if she wasn't sure whether the succubus had remembered it or not.) When Sin looked suddenly more tense, the witch flinched and pulled in on herself a little, waiting for the inevitable blow that they were wrong and shouldn't go on this trip and--
....That she was coming with... Them??
"YAAAAAY!!!" Belladonna shouted as she disentangled herself from Mort and launched a full body hug at Sin, wrapping her up tight and jumping up and down with the ghoul regardless if the succubus wanted to or not. "It'll be so much fun! Also that outfit looks amazing on you! Here, come meet everyone!"
Not at all bothering to give Sin any space, the witch dragged her over to their little group, all smiles and bouncing for the fun adventure to be had.

Considering the circumstances he didn’t take offence to Mort’s preference to the colder demon’s company. “Yeah sure, I know I’m scary.” He grinned at the older boil, teasing.

“Well Michi, I’m just your regular old zombie repellent it seems.” He watched as the hugged another zombie, he half remembered. Was it flowers? Yeah he remembered being yelled at. Maybe his repellent would work on this one too.

He looked away embarrassed, only to realize Olivia had come closer. “Hey Olivia.” He responded before she wandered off with Mort. He shoved his hands in his pockets realizing that it was likely he would be avoided by half the group present.

That ghoul from the fair joined them and started to say something about school permission and danger and Roch spoke up announcing that they could go home if they wanted, along with something about dying on school trips. What? Andrew did not like the sound of that, he would strongly prefer not dying. Though if the Hob had managed to get in and out of the other world without dying… he supposed it would be ok. He was still ditching them if it came to it.

As everyone went about introducing themselves, Alexander had to wonder if his own social skills that he'd developed since enrolling in the academy had slipped in the past couple of months. He'd never been the get out there and meet everyone and everything type, preferring to just relax and let the horde make their way to him. But with a group like this, with so many unfamiliar new faces, that was fairly unlikely to happen.

It was time to be sociable. He could totally do this.

He noted with some amount of appreciation that the demon standing with them kept his flaming tail away, and he was about to thank him when Michi pulled him into a small but firm hug, making his attention shift back towards her, and then to Belladonna with her accusation. "Fffffft, me? A pest? I'm sorry, but who was the one who caught me outside of the gym and drug me in for a 'friendly spar' the first time we met, before kicking my bony a** all over the place?" He gave Belladonna a grin, taking a step back away from Michi once the smoke demon had let him go, before turning towards Andrew to greet him more properly.

"Hey, I'm Alexander!" He offered the boil a large grin as well, because Alexander was almost always smiling. Everyone had better get used to it now. Still, something flickered in his eyes while he looked at the boil, a faint hint of recognition, perhaps. Where had he seen this boil before? His brow began to furrow in confusion, as he for some reason was reminded of flowers...

....Ohhhhhhhhhhh.....

The zomboils eyes widened slightly, though again, and his smile actually slipped a little, though not completely. This really wasn't the time or place for a confrontation regarding shoplifting, so he decided it would be best to just keep it to himself. Besides, there hadn't really been any harm in it, had there? Still, it made him feel slightly more wary about the boil. He'd have to keep an eye on him, if at all possible.

"Olivia!" He suddenly turned towards the much smaller undead ghoul, tempted to reach out and muss up her hair as he did with his sister and one of his other shorter undead friends, Mei. He managed to refrain himself, however, and instead shoved his hands in his pockets to stifle the urge. "How have you been?" He had managed to catch a little bit about what she'd said regarding field trips, and her mention of horsemen had him glancing over his shoulder towards them.

The duo were obviously from war, there was no doubt about that, though one was acting rather...odd, even for a horsemen. He shrugged it off, however, and turned back towards the wight.

"How are classes going for you? If you ever need any help, don't hesitate to ask." He smiled, only too eager to be of assistance with anything to do with reading or studying. Hell, he'd probably do her homework for her, if she asked him to. Well, maybe....if the subject matter was interesting enough.

He then looked towards the boil and ghoul who were standing together, a much cooler demon then the ones he was standing with, one that he automatically felt an urge to gravitate towards because of said coolness. He stayed in his place, however, and offered them both a small wave and a smile, before a familiar voice that rang out across the clearing grabbed his attention. He raised an eyebrow at Sin, noting the certain amount of urgency in her voice and wondering where this was headed. Of course, if she was going to suggest they didn't go, he would likely ignore it. After all, being an initiate often meant traveling to unknown lands in the human realm, and if he could do that with nothing more then an accompanying horseman, he was pretty sure he could handle this as well.

Her finish to whatever she was going to say caught him a bit off guard, and his eyebrows rose further. Well, maybe she was just the overdramatic type that liked to make a big, loud, entrance. Seeing nothing wrong with that, he grinned at her in return and offered her a wave before Belladonna went barreling into her. He remembered Sin from the fake, dream realm of the seven kingdoms, and had spoken with her on more then one occasion previous to that. He would have said they were on fairly friendly terms, though what they had done to her in that fake world still haunted him from time to time, if he let his thoughts dwell on such things for too long.

Roch's little speech had the zomboil nodding. Death meant very little to one that was basically already dead to begin with, and had experienced dissipation so many times it was impossible to count. When it was over, he shrugged, and had a glance around at the others.

"Well, I'm not about to leave and miss out on the fun. Besides, we got...them...I guess." He gestured back towards the horsemen. Though if that was even worth anything was anybodies guess, since there was only a very slim chance they would give two jacks about any of the student's welfare.
