WindPowa: I've never been one for signatures. XD I always keep mine to a minimum, and most times I don't have one at all.
shadowkat95: The end of 06? You sure that's time enough? Most games take large groups of people years upon years to finish.

ah the game programming scene. lol i just actually started trying and well.... its kinda hard to do stuff like programming tic tac toe.(still having problems with the AI) i did finish the multiplayer part of it and it works so i now know how to put it in and stuff but man its gonna be hard to beat the ai i have.lol it cheats. im just trying to get the idea in my head of how the games would work. i love game programming. i have actually use game maker. i have a couple of games that worked but werent all that fun.lol im still learning so im kinda just waiting till i have better things to use like a computer that isnt made by a half-assed company that no one has ever heard of.(ever heard of great quality?talk about a toaster oven.) xd i guess i need to learn more on c++ again. seems that in the time i havent programmed i forgot a few things.

I voted programming, but I really like all of them; even marketing. So far I have done some programming, graphics design, and music making.

I have to admit, I'm a want to be game programmer, but I am teaching myself C++ through this website: http://www.intap.net/~drw/cpp/index.htm and I do have good ideas to make a game (console games that is).
I'll probably learn Assembly next (hopefully before I go to Qantm College).

I'm actually planning on going to school for Game Design, once I graduate with the degree I'm currently in. I'm even designing a game right now, though my lack of art skills is killing me... sweatdrop

I have a pretty good understanding of the Allegro library, and have made a few crude games with it (i'm more of the hardcore programmer; doing AI is hard) so if anyone wants me to be part of their project, i'd be happy.

I'm mostly interested in the graphics of making a game, but the logic to a game is kinda interesting too I suppose.

I like designing, playing and programming. I voted for programming because I seem to enjoy it more.
I have actually got a start-up game company I'm tying to get off the ground. www.catch22studios.com We are in the last stages of development for our first game. The engine is ready. We just need to make levels, models, textures, sound and music...
We are using C++ with DirectX. The engine has been coded from scratch. I've been modelling for the past month while our lead programmer makes final adjustments to the engine and I'm bored out my skull. I want to go back and do sub-system programming again T.-.T
Anyone know about BSP trees? We need a BSP algorithm for the next game and I was wondering if there is anyone here who I could bounce ideas off of.

I say debugging because you get to play the game while TRYING to exploit it without getting in trouble for doing such. You also get to see the game grow as a whole over time.
