Being on his phone Andrew did notice the text an started using it in his search coming up with... something vague, but he found a book title that might be useful. Looking up Andrew reached for the piles of books Maple had put down looking for the title but forgetting one thing, it sometimes took time for him to cool down.



Within moments of grabbing one of the books, it ignited. Andrew stared helplessly as the pages slowly burned in his hands.

Wait. Wait!

AJ didn't expect to come back with a small fire show and an about-to-cry little witch. Probably also a potential detention from the librarians. He quickly unloaded the pile and the remaining books at a location far away from the source of fire.

"Don't worry, I will take care of it." He comforted Maple while approaching the burning book and Andrew.

"Andrew!" He made a short call to distract the demon's attention and promptly grabbed the book off his hands.

He turned over the book without a thought, with the burning pages facing the desk which seemed to be painted with a varnish. Luckily, the fast outtake of oxygen put out the small flame and the varnish is a water-based one, otherwise, it will become uncontrollable.

When the flame was gone, AJ checked the pages and found only small corners on the pages were singed, what a jacking relief!

He shook his head a bit, kinda disappointed at the demon. It seemed he better find someone to learn how to control his flames. "Andrew, I think.....you'd better stay away from the books before you cool down. See what else you can do ? Here! Have a bag of gummi snakes, they might help you to calm down a bit." He turned and gave a gentle smile to Maple. "Wow, you bring back a lot of books, my dear. Let's us start scanning them quick?" AJ gave Maple a bag of candies and gathered back his own pile of books and started to work on the page he labelled before.

The crisis was averted thankfully well before Maple would probably boil down into a fit of unnatural rage over the destruction of school property. Aj came in a whirlwind, snatching the book from Andrew's hands before things could get worse. Maple still stared at the flame demon in horror and distress even as he crumpled in his chair, heating up in embarrassment.

Her hands shook, her own the gummi candies were ignored as well but the reassuring smile was at least seen. The witch's lower lip quivered for a moment before she sat herself down in the chair she had originally intended to sit down in.

How could she possible work in these conditions, her mind was millions of miles elsewhere now. But, she took a book still with her trembling hands, not even noticing the title or if it would prove helpful in their search (it was at least about islands). Her shoulders slumped as she opened the book and her eyes adverted down. Book, sweet... wonderful unharmed book. She would protect you. Sniffle.

She began reading the chapter contents to narrow the search down, or at least tried to.

"I have control over my flames!" embarrassment quickly turned to anger as his hands flared up with heat. "I know I shouldn't handle paper you Jacking..." Andrew grit his teeth resisting the urge to deck the other boil. He didn't care about AJ's rambling about gummis, or about Andrew's "use" of being able to navigate the interweb. He really disliked being told he was out of control. One mistake wasn't out of control. It was a mistake, easily fixed by calming down. Except he didn't feel calm. For some reason AJ just kept him on edge.

And then AJ invaded his personal space. "Don't Jacken touch me!" Andrew crawled out of his chair and on to his feet. The boil wouldn't get off that easy no matter how light or little it was. "Remember, I'm helping you out. No more comments on my abilities or this touching stuff." his tail swished from side to side, fire hot and ready to burn everything to the ground, and there was plenty of fuel. If he wanted or, if he got out of control, the whole place would be up in smoke in no time flat.

"Easy. Easy. You need to calm down now. Maybe my wordings were poor, what I mean is "strengthening" your control, as if you can put out or ignite a flame anytime you like. By doing so, it will be more convenient for you. For example, when you're in darkness, you can quickly light it up! By the way, it's getting late now, so we'd better start searching quick." He paused and looked around. "After we get enough information about the location and some more details, we will have our treasure hunt." He lowered his voice this time, the fire accident woke himself from the excitement a little.

Smiling to his friends, AJ started to scan through books through books again, in an unbelievable speed, you can tell from his swift rolling eyes.

It seemed there were more mysteries about the past of this serpent-dragon boil.

Maple found herself content in her decision to remain quiet, in a way she would be less of a catalyst if Andrew decided to go off again. The two boils were working it out, and Andrew seemed to be calming down much to her own relief. Now, if only she could. But, she was always rather high strung when outside of the safe comfort of her room; even in the library these days given the events in class. And, well... everyone at school.

Still, she continued to read a few more paragraphs before she realized the content of the chapter didn't have anything that seemed worth while. It had been a lead, so she pushed it aside still opened up as she spared Andrew a glance as he went back to not working. The ghoul frowned, realizing that work would be left for her and AJ. She never liked it when things were left to her in any shape or form.

Her eyes glanced at her pile, to see if she had pulled something with such a title as the flame demon had suggested, "I.. I d-don't th-think I g-got th-that one..." she stated in mousey tone. Such a failure was she. Mostly pulling things about abandoned locations and islands. Should she go get it? Maple gave AJ a questioning glance as she pulled out one of the historical island books (Edition E).

"The word island sounds like death trap to me." Andrew mumbled. "But yeah palace sounds like it would have it if there is any treasure." he looked at his phone skimming through something, thumb flicking across the screen now and then. "My big question is how we are going to get there. If it's a boat, you are on your own, I prefer to avoid dissipation thanks." he would go, he wanted to. He just had this thing about water, water and fire just didn't mix.

Maple's finding received a thumb up from AJ, "Nice finding, little witch! It looks like an interesting place to visit." He turned to Andrew, who
always worried about safety of their upcoming trip. "Hey boil~ How can a treasure hunt without some potential dangers? It's what made the treasure so precious afterall! Oh! By the way-" AJ winked and paused to flip over pages of a book.

"- Here says portals found in weeping forest may lead to the isle, I guess that solves your question, Andrew. However, they are totally random that which place will link to, so we should....expect a camping inside the forest. If we are lucky, we don't need to spend too much time, but it's better prepared that we might stay there overnight."

They searched for a more while before AJ closed the book. "OK! I think we've got enough information now. Let's head back to the dorm to pack our belongings and meet at the Academy main gate an hour later!"

===== An hour later =======

Carrying their packs, the group arrived at the weeping forest, where seemed to be a labyrinth with endless number of sky-rise trees.

"So let's start to find the correct portal, shall we?"
