She followed his lead - or perhaps had to because her legs were trying to turn into noodles. Yet it was so very like him - his eternal support to keep her going. It felt right - just as it always had. To have him there by her side - her husband. It was actually overwhelming all of a sudden. She was a married woman. She, who had left home Cassandra Norris, had become a completely different person - or perhaps she'd just blossomed into who she was meant to be.
"I hope so. Because there are no take-backs now." she murmured back to him, squeezing his arm.

No take backs? He was pretty sure he never would want one. Not even if he was being held at gunpoint. As they managed to reach the end of the aisle and the doors of the church, it was surreal to step outside, knowing he'd just married the girl of his dreams. Looking to Cass, he smiled.
"It's too late to turn around." Bending down, catching her legs and picking her up, the training of the princess carry was paying off as he kissed her, yet again. "We've got a cake to go deal with. And people. It's all downhill from here." So what if carrying your wife around like a princess wasn't the most normal? He had long ago accepted that he wasn't, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

"Trying to keep me from running away now?" she teased as she was picked up, wrapping her arms around his neck with a sigh. "Not that I would. You're perfect." Cass was grinning now, pressing one hand to his cheek as he kissed her, and kissing him again once their lips parted. "I love you, Marcus Hasan. Downhill? Well, hard to top marrying the best man on the island, right?" She laughed.
"Now how about you let me show you off to everybody else now?"

He smirked. "If you ran I would catch you." He casually jostled her. "Sure I'm perfect? Well, okay maybe I am." His smirk going to a small smile he kept walking, like she weighed nothing at all. Practice really did make perfect. "Hard to top marrying the most amazing woman in the world. Cassandra Hasan, the love of my life."
He was pretty sure he'd get yelled at to stop sweet talking his wife and let others have a chance to talk to her. "Only if I can show you off as well."

"Deal." she replied, kissing him again. "Now we better get the 'showing off' done or else we're gonna stand in this chapel kissing the day away."
