Kayleigh frowns, catching a thought of the boy's. She walks to the Poseidon boy and sits down beside him. "I wasn't trying to get away from you. Well I kinda was. And I don't think you're stupid. In case you hadn't noticed by the 'loving the water' bit, I've not got much in common with other children of Athena. Also, I can't find my cat."

River "Ion" Hawkins River looked at the strange girl with a raised eyebrow. He breathing was slightly wild as if he was about to face a monster. His mind was going over her trying to poke fun at him, or trying to push him into unstablility and making fun of him for being weaker than she was. The blond began to look similar to a animal scared out of its mind. The fouth year shook his head and hid himself behind his blond/green bangs. Breath just breath remeber this isn't anything like that. That was four years ago, and thinks are different now. Though she might be a child of Athena, she wouldn't let you be eaten by one of those things just calm down. he thought scolding himself for becoming alarmed. He breathed deeply and looked back at the water trying to find comfort in its waves.

"You okay?" She asks, her green eyes flooded with worry. Suddenly she felt like there were more important things than her cat. She frown at his thoughts floating around in her head. She desperately wanted to ask what happened four years ago, but didn't. "I would never let you be hurt if I could help it. Just take deep breaths...it'll be alright..." She found herself trying to comfort the boy.

River "Ion" Hawkins The blond took a deep breath and watched the waves, noticing something in them he heard a yowl. "Your cat?" he asked with a deep almost unused voice. He stood and took off his shoes and his shirt. "I'll get it." With a sigh the boy jumped into the water and started to swim freestyle toward the poor cat.

Kayleigh laughed a bit. "Yeah, that would be Cinder." The boy got up and went to retrieve the cat, and Kayleigh couldn't help but think it was to get away from her.

Reaching the cat he grabbed it by its scruff and headed back to land. With a sigh his feet touched ground and he let the poor thing go. It looked half drowned but was alive. The blonde however seemed to have lost interest, as was normal with his ADHD and had gone back to the water trying to push himself to be able to swim across the lake and back. He growled at himself and tried to push himself faster and harder.

"God, Cin, don't go wandering off like that." Kayleigh said, pulling the wet cat into her lap. She watched the boy, then set the cat down-"STAY, Cinder. STAY."-and jumped into the water. She allowed herself to sink to the bottom, breathing as easily as if she were on land. She watched all the fish swimming by, tracking the shadow of the boy on the surface.

Looking back aross the water he noticed that the girl was gone. Smiling he swam back across to his things, and dressed. Looking around making sure he was alone he ran away from the strange girl. Deciding to wait and not think about where he was going, he ran off in the general direction of the stables.

Kayleigh popped her head up from the lake, her long, wet red hair covering one of her eyes. She looks for the boy, but can't find him. She sighed and swam to the shore, wringing the hem of her shirt out again, but not her hair. She picked up Cinder and started walking. She didn't know where, she really didn't care. She just walked.

Kato wandered over to the lake, taking a canoe and rowing out to the center of the lake. He unrolled his bedroll and set out a bunch of traps around him, before finally dozing off into fitful sleep. After all, they still hadn't finished up the renovations of the Persephone cabin. So he had to find somewhere else to be paranoid.
