"It's tender.." He hissed as he poked it. Probably wouldn't sting if he didn't poke it, but that didn't stop him from poking it another few times.

"Well that wasn't exactly a no.." He snickered a bit. "But I mean I'm not either. I'm like overabundant with feelings and then make a fool of myself. Doesn't mean you don't have feelings.. even if you can't decipher them or translate them or... i dunno understand them?"

He shrugged. Honestly he knew that Ariane was a cool girl, one of the coolest, and he'd hate to see a self imposed 'stand alone' mentality when she could open herself up for more.

"Well uhhh.." He turned pink. "I actually tried really hard not to like her. Because well the last time I had liked Molly and I guess I got a little too emotional and enthusiastic and.." He screwed up his mouth, "well I ended up really disappointed. But well I guess I just realized how awesome she was to be around and funny and pretty and.." He shrugged and turned more pink. "Then suddenly one day its like DUH YOU LIKE HER IDIOT. At which point I like panicked inside cause I was sure she'd only think of me as her friend..."

He waved his hands. "But it's not the same thing cause we got stuck in that Haunted House situation and it was hallucinations and life or death.. OH AND THEN WE DIED. In eachothers arms. After kissing in a hallucination fog." Bix smeared his hand down his face.

"This is probably like the worst example."

"Well there was all that liking and stuff BEFORE HAND.." Facepalm Bix.

The albino ended up not being able to do anything but shrug. "Then that's what happens. It may not even. I stayed friends with a few exes. Well one maybe. But.." another shrug, he did a lot of that, "it's the chance you take for something amazing. And even if it's only amazing for a short time, because if you like someone and you don't say anything then you basically have to suffer in silence and wonder .. what if?"

Bix was just the sort of person to put himself out on a limb. He did it with girls and he did it with battle. He'd throw himself in front of the fire and see what happened. Optimism helped him bounce back and come out alive... or maybe it was freaky miracles that brought him back to life. Either way..

"You just don't know. Sometimes you can say.. hey lets give it a try and then you both realize you should just STAY friends. It doesn't have to get ugly."

Bix went, "Mmmmhmmmmm.." and snapped his fingers and bobbled his head. He was the sassy straight friend after all.

"You NEED to tell me. I need all the gossip and juicy details.." He wiggled his brows. "And I promise I won't tell a soooooul."

"Who am I gonna tell?!" Bix threw his arms up. "Oh please don't shave my head.." He whimpered a moment. "I'm trying to grow my hair out again."

He briefly, self consciously, ran his hands through his hair which had grown to a pleasantly poofy length where it stuck up but hadn't yet begun to flop over into any length.

"I don't even see anyone really.. besides when I go to train. I don't even know what's going on with people. Have you seen or talked to Gale at all?"

Hair threats were SUPER EFFECTIVE. Bix was a nancy woman about his hair and so he just nodded at Ariane, wide eyed and solemn. No shaving would be necessary! He was compliant!

"Yeah me either.. I'm more of a 'run into people by chance' sort of person. Maybe I should call him.." Was it bad that he considered Gale one of his best friends but sometimes just couldn't handle how serious the younger man was? "He's my bro but he can be such a wet blanket sometimes. And when I try to have a little fun with him he always yells at me!"

Bix shrugged and flopped backwards. His eyes get drifting to Ariane. He wanted to ask more about the Jude thing but he wasn't sure she'd spill anything more or even try talking about her feelings. "Hey.. maybe you wanna try.. talking? About your feelings? Since I'm sworn to for-serious-hair-secrecy?"

Bix rolled his eyes about the comment of Gales's need to be mature. "I thought we were like... passed that by now. He's full rank.. he got there before most other people.." He made a frustrated noise. "Let's try and go like.. paintballing or lazertag?"

Back on the subject of feelings, Bix got a very nosey expression. He looked a little bit like a psychologist. All he needed was a pen and a notepad to doodle in. "Well.. How do you feel about Jude. I mean do you even have romantic feelings? Cause.. well.. I mean I'm nosey as hell and totally now thinking you guys should get it oooon." he teased "but he's my friend too so I don't want him getting led on or something if you act like a typical woman.."

It was another teasing jab but the sentiment was still true. He would probably also get punched for the woman comment.

"Awesome. Well maybe we can get a group? It would bemore fun that way and seem less like I'm deliberately doing it for him." Bix smirked. "You better be paying." Since he already owed her a meal. "Plus some friendly competition. Maybe ah.." >.> "Jude will come."

No ulterior motives. NOPE.

"Well do you look at me and think, 'yeah I think I might wanna kiss that guy in the future'? There's a difference. Have you even tried to think a bit outside of 'work friend' for anyone here?"

"Guys like Jude don't lead girls on. I mean.. come on." He could be as serious as Gale alot of the time. "I'm assuming her brought it up becausehe wanted to gauge your reaction and see how open you were. You know, when someone is like 'HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING' but you know they are really talking about themselves?" Bix obviously had not been present for the conversation but already seemed to just know what was meant. Well.. he was pretending to anyway.
