Cavin didn't bother with pleasantries. It wasn't his thing. When she spoke, he followed her ears with his own and pounced into the air, spreading his lime-tipped beige wings to beat at the ground and remove himself from it's trappings. he hunted through his new angles as he rose, as straight up as he could, to find the prey and check it's identity, before diving for it, looking to scare it into motion if it wouldn't move on it's own for him.

like a dog, cavin's eyes hunted the fleeing beast, the other less than immediate game. Besides, he folded his wings to pass through a couple trees, and enjoyed the obstacle course, eager to scare the other one back the direction he wanted, if he had to bounce off trees by hoof to do it.

Cavin's excitement lost him in the hunt, and rather than chasing the animal out of the forest, a sharp squeal echoed loose from the woods under his hooves. That wasn't all that came loose, with the company of vulgarities that echoed loose from the stallion's maw. He stepped forward and kicked the shattered corpse under a bush before trudging from the trees, kicking dirt over his hooves to hide the blood spattered accross them. "Flimsy damned little beasts..."

Cavin blinked and balked as his vision was momentarily laced with Liron and her wormfungus decor, and then empty to forest again. He looked after her, eyes flitting from that curvaceous rump to the rabbit in her slender maw, and a lapse of adulthood shot through his system. "HEY! We were gonna share that!" he barked, hurrying after her. he tried, at first, to spread his wings, clipping them on a trunk before stumbling, slowing long enough to fold them close again, and hurrying after the mare once more. "GET BACK HERE!" He couldn't help the grin, even as the light sting in his wing faded, and his hooves broke into a cautious gallop, fast enough to at least keep her in sight, but leaving enough room to bank and turn if he needed to dodge a tree.

Cavin growled playfully, enduring the chase with a happy grin, even when he felt the worms riding on Liron's undersea accompaniment zap his hide. When she finally stopped, he was just as winded as she, not particularly used to land chases, since he preferred his mothers' gift over his hooves. He raised his wing for her, the thing hardly flinching at the mild zaps, though his nerves could feel the electricity travelling through the hollow tubes of his feathers, and pushed against her side with it, tossing his head to herd her over to a patch of cool greens to lay in.

"Enough! Now that we've scared every beast in the wood, let's eat the only one we've caught."

The stallion watched curiously, as she pushed away the tasty bits in favor of the straight meat. He shrugged, settling down so he could reach the organs and other unsavory bits to eat those. he'd always been strange that way. Where the rest of his birdly family preferred the meat and the fat, he enjoyed the organs. It'd started that way once when he heard a two-legger's rumor that eating the organs of an animal provides you their strength and health. "Good thing we're eating this beast together, or bits of it might go to waste... Feeding serpents and insects and other foul animals..."

He hummed, nudging the fur with his beak. He hadn't been intent on eating the fur, anyways, but the idea WAS interesting... Something he'd have to test, if he could ever make enough such beasts killed and skinned properly.

He looked up at the odd question, though. He shrugged, after a moment's thought, then porked down the rest of his non-fur pleasantries, letting loose a hiccup that sounded more like a shallow squawk when he was done. "Should you?" He humphed, pawing at the fur with his hoof. "Do you want me to tell you how much you remind me of my sisters, or that the strange creature attatched to your back is something I've seen before?"
