Paimon gave a small chuckle. He was starting to get a hold of what she was thinking. "Its okay. The South doesn't have trees, therefore we aren't used to looking below us. Its a common habit for those of us from the desert." he said calmly.

Ca blinked when he spoke, cracking a smile and nodding. While he was still close, she lightly pressed her forehead to his neck like she'd done earlier. She... really liked Paimon. She didn't know why she was already so attached, but she was. How ironic it was, her falling for a King's horse like her father had. Sometimes she wondered how it was possible that they weren't blood kin with how alike they were.

Paimon flushed at the contact with Ca, his pelt burning hotter, but not enough to hurt her. Without thinking, he lay his head upon the top of hers in a sort of cuddling motion. In his head he tried to analyze what this feeling was he had inside, but he couldn't put anything he knew to it. A small sigh raised and lowered his chest as he looked out the corner of his eye at Ca. If he asked, would she even consent to being his lifemate? They hadn't even known each other very long... Would she find it strange? And what about her being from the South? That usually meant an evil aligned, which he definitely wasn't anymore... Though it didn't seem she would hurt Sebastian... One could never be sure... He just didn't knwo what to do...

Ca let her eyes slide closed as Paimon rested his head on hers, a happy shiver running down her spine. Was this how Punk felt when he met Melda? It was wonderful. She contently inhaled his smoky scent and listened to him breathe, relishing the moment. When she heard--and felt--his sigh, she opened an eye to try to inspect him. Was something wrong? Had her actions upset him somehow, or was it something else? Silent questions filled that pumpkin-colored eye as she tried to find the source of the sigh. She turned her head so that the side of her face rested against his neck. Then she lightly nipped at his mane and looked up at him the best she could.

Paimon slid his head back and looked at Ca calmly, his eyes shining brightly. "Nothing's wrong, Ca.. Promise." He answered her unspoken question before nipping back at her RED mane. He watched her for a moment before finally deciding to just voice his thoughts. "I was just thinking, that I've never felt so... magnatized towards someone before..."

Ca blinked, the worry melting off her face at Paimon's reassurance. She blushed a little at his nipping, which grew exponentially as he expressed his thoughts. She shyly tried to hide her face in his neck, but her smile wasn't as easily hidden as her eyes. The mare started to scoot closer, but a careless movement with her injured leg made her withdraw from the resulting shot of pain. She glared at the wrapped injury, huffing at it before looking at Paimon. She averted her gaze not long after it met the stallion's, but the shy smile playing on her lips gave away her true feelings. Magnetized. That was a good way of putting it. The closer she got, the more reluctant she was to pull away from the captivating male.

Paimon chuckled at the cute little glare she gave her ankle, when she went to move but accidentally hurt herself instead. "I don't know what it is about you, Ca... but I'm afraid you're stuck with me, cause I don't wanna leave your side..." he said softly, lightly nuzzling her cheek where he felt and saw her little blush.

Ca's ears perked up at his chuckle, her eyes lighting up at the sound. Her blush deepened as Paimon spoke and nuzzled her, an involuntary shiver going through her frame. She leaned over and ran her muzzle along his neck, letting her sigh of contentment roll across his skin. The stallion made her inexplicably happy and she was beginning to crave his touch in addition to his attention. His words made her smile. The feeling was definitely mutual; Ca didn't want him to ever leave her side.

Paimon coughed and squirmed, deciding he might as well get this question out of the way to get rid of any awkwardness resulting from it as fast as possible. Ca.. would.. Well... I know we haven't known each other long... but I haven't ever been more sure in wanting to ask.. But uhm.. would... you... would you like to be my Lifemate? Be by my side forever?" he asked, his coal eyes burning into hers.

Ca blinked and lifted her head to look at him when he coughed, puzzled. She didn't lose the expression until the reality of what he'd said hit her. Her pumpkin-colored eyes widened before catching the flame flickering in Paimon's. She slowly nodded, her gaze not leaving his until she grinned, nodded again (albeit much more quickly), and nuzzled her head against him. Even if she did speak, words wouldn't have been able to express her joy. He asked her to be his mate--his lifemate! And she'd just accepted... that made it official, right? Paimon would never leave. They'd be together, no matter what.
Alignment, family, humans... every worry she'd considered seemed to vanish within that moment. They were nothing to her; as long as Paimon was by her side, she could be happy.

Paimon grinned foolishly at Ca's agreement, a slow rumbling purr rising up in his chest as he cuddled into her. His lifemate. No longer did he feel alone, and no longer would be be alone. Happily he sent the news to Sebastian's mind, who responded with a joyful, if not brief congrats.
Paimon grinned warmly and kept the female close to him, even as he fell asleep.

Ca Thu Thi sighed happily, leaning into Paimon as she closed her eyes and slipped off to sleep. A lifemate... Liron would be ecstatic when she found out. Hopefully her father would be too... And Melda. As she drifted off, she could almost see her adopted mother's face smiling her congratulations.
