"They made you share with someone?" Lucifer was clearly startled. "They were supposed to give each eligible person a private suite!" Sighing, he shook his head. "They must've run out of room. Nearly three thousand are here, and I know that several nobles are going to see about getting their sons married off while this is going on." Sighing again, he guided her to a small garden, which had a variety of flowers, from honeysuckle to roses to dandelions to daisies. "I grow them myself." he pointed to a balcony that overlooked the garden. An ivy trellis wove its way up to it. "My suite, though I generally sleep outside. It's fairly large, and far away from all the girls. If you want too use it, it can be arranged." He pointed out a cot in the garden, underneath an overhang. "I'm there during the summer."

"Yeah it sucks, every time that girl opens her mouth my ears start bleeding." She joked though if she didn't jam her pillow against her ears it could possibly happen. The garden she was lead into was amazing, Shura was never the type to stop and smell the roses or ever stop and grow the roses for that matter,"They are lovely. They really are." She bent over and plucked a rose from the ground placing it in her hair as she looked toward the balcony Lucifer pointed to. "I wouldn't want to steal your room or anything." She said shaking her head a smirk on her face,"Plus, I don't think the other girls will be happy about me sleeping in your room."

((can't spell dandelion today x.x)) "When the weather gets bad, I sleep in the main guest suite. Most don't even realize that those are my rooms up there. The girls definitely won't." He grinned crookedly. "There's more than that rose bush, silly. I prefer the ones that are considered weeds, like the dandelions, or the daisies over there." He nodded to them. "They're unappreciated." he touched the rose Shura had plucked, and it became alive once more, flourishing without a source. "During the winter, I have bunches of flowers dried. I use a partial restore so that they flourish and the castle doesn't smell damp or anything boring. It puts the Court in a better mood, as well." He stretched. "Most don't know of this garden, since it's my private garden. I already know that the other girls would destroy this place, as well as the boys."

"I know there's more than a rose bush but roses are just so enthralling, their distinctive shape is like that of no other flower and their color symbolizes both passion and intensity." Shura said as she turned toward the dandelions,"Most people prefer outer beauty over inner beauty, that is why they are ignored." She moved closer to Lucifer and leaned her head onto his shoulder,"You aren't the cruel, cold hearted king my country always told me about. I highly doubt such a cruel hearted man would be such a gentlemen and offer me a room."

"My father was the coldhearted one. I had hit my first millennium when he had decided that I wasn't fit to rule, and sent assassins after me. Sadly, the assassins liked me, so they all told me what was going on. In front of the Court, I pointed it out to him, and he used this giant sword to try and cut me in two. You might not have noticed it, but it rests behind the throne. Black on black, it's hard to see."
He looked away. "I defended myself, and he cut off my wings. Without them, I couldn't fly, which was my only advantage at the time. Using a small knife that I always carried around, I threw it at him. He died there, the knife shattering when it imbedded itself in him, and poisoning him. I've been the ruler ever since."
Lucifer closed his eyes, remembering. "I was in a lot of pain then. My wings healed slowly then, and ever since then, they'll shed every once in a while. I'm the only winged demon that molts." He grinned then. "Furry demons...there might be a few left, but my father had tried to kill them all, so it's possible that they're gone. My nursemaid was one, until he found out and had her killed. Fur everywhere."
His eyes opened. "I'm babbling. Sorry."

Woah, talk about your dysfunctional families. As Lucifer spoke of his father's cold hearted nature, the story made her grow silent as she looked to the dark haired demon. Once he finished his story Shura shook her head,"It's fine really." The story put a damper on the overall mood between the two and the fiery haired demon decided to lighten up the mood, she moved toward the dandelions grabbing one and blowing on it setting the seeds wild in all directions.

((it also explains why the commoners think that he's a cold-hearted b*****d. many don't realize that he rules, and not his father. still. fail)) Lucifer watched as the flying seeds multiplied until it was a seedy blizzard. "Okay, you can stop now." he snapped. Instantly, all of the summoned seeds disappeared, leaving the real ones.
He chuckled. "I'm still trying to figure out how they do that. I did that in Court once and left them in the fuzz for an hour before I told the seeds to stop. Best Court day ever." He grinned brightly, remembering it.

Shura watched the dandelion seeds a content smile on her face until busting out into giggles after hearing his story,"That sounds like fun, a bunch of multiplying seeds in a room full of pompous politicians." She said continuing to chuckle as she imagined the look on those politicians faces as they tried to stay serious while seeds flew around them. This garden truly was amazing! Shura began to walked farther into the garden making sure her clunky boots didn't step on any other the plants she crossed paths with.

Lucifer smiled, then ran over to the ivy by the balcony and hopped on. He quickly clambered to the top and was on the balcony. "You want to see the suite or what?" He called down merrily.

As she heard his voice Shura looked up, seeing Lucifer on the balcony and moving toward it, grabbing onto the ivy and climbing it. She pushed herself over the wall of the balcony landing on her hands rather than her feet. "Let's see if this suite is really up to par." Shura said bringing herself back to her feet and walking toward Lucifer.

((we have plumbing in the castle (ow o) who woulda thought?)) Unlike the other suites, which had three rooms: common room, bedroom and a bathroom, this one also came with a study, a small library that could summon books from the actual library, and there was a bellpull to summon a servant. The other suites had a servant in the room at all times. "Larger, more comfortable, and much more peaceful. Plus, access to the garden. To get here, you go in the same direction of the other suites and turn left instead of right. Also, that entrance we used is magically hidden, so try not to use it unless no one's around."

Shura looked around the suite, she could get used to sleeping in a place like this. "The secret's safe with me." She said placing a finger over her mouth as she turned to Lucifer and began to roam around the suite plopping herself onto the bed which was much more comfortable than her previous one. She could probably fit three or four of her room back home in this enormous suite. "This place is so big and grand, you don't like sleeping in here?" Shura questioned as she sat up on the bed unraveling the bun in her hair, making herself comfortable.

((ooh, Captain Jack Sparrow owo dA has an emote for it, but my net's being derpish and it's not loading anything on dA)) "I prefer sleeping outdoors, and the guest suite I stay at when it's too bad to actually sleep outdoors is an indoor garden during the winter. Right now, all the plants are resting, so all you'd see there are jars of dirt."

Shura arched a brow at the demon,"Someone is quite the nature lover from what I can tell." She preferred to stop and burn the flowers rather than stop and smell them, so her gardening is out of the question. She wallowed in the comfort of the bed a little longer before standing and exploring.

"Relieves stress after Court, especially on bad days, though from what they're saying, after I get married," the way he said it had more of a 'going to jail' tone, "I'll have other venues to relieve stress. Bleh." He leaned on the wall by the balcony. "And I'll have to sleep in here, which I am not looking forward to."
