 Samantha Moi~Desert delusion ~ Smantha Huffed as she stood on the ground and adjusting her hat a bit she walked down the path back into the village. She lacked Jutsu skill and this would be a good time to train and pick up some genjutsu on her list to learn. Heading to the training grounds she kicked a rock across the ground and wondered when she could just down right relax and even wear her ever so conformable sun dress that was collecting dust in her room.

Ryuu made his way up the steep path that lead to the cliffs after, leaving the village streets. This was a much steeper climb than he remembered but, with a little effort Ryuu was able to make it up the path. When he got to the top he took a bit of time to look out at the view. After, he took some time to do that, Ryuu went and found a shaded place to sit down with his fish. He knew that this training was going to be a little harder than some of the training he had done but, he knew that he could do it. Ryuu took a deep breath and studied the fish. There was no cuts or anything on it so, it was in perfect condition for this training. Ryuu looked around and didn't notice Manta quite yet so, he figured he might as well take the time to train a little.

Maki walked up the cliffs, he had found one of his new teammates however he was unsure of what to say. He stood there watching his teammate, was he perhaps waiting for someone? He knew not the answer but he watched calmly as the wind blew upon the both of them and the merciless sun beamed down its ever power rays upon this land covered in sand. Not much was out here, however he had come to awaken his sharingan and get a power strong enough to please and protect these people.

I GIVE YOU...Mantama walked up the steps, his face hidden underneath the black shock of hair atop his head. He breathed evenly, being accustomed to the long and rather arduous walk up to the top of the cliffs. The visit to the cemetery had been postponed, as the young Jounin had gotten word of a new Kazekage being instilled, and had made way to the cliffs as fast as possible, in order to get as much training in. A new Kazekage usually meant a little instability for a short amount of time, and the crime rate was sure to go up, if only for a week or so. Until things got straightened out, Manta wanted his team ready for anything.
As he crested the hill, Mantama shouldered aside his pack, dropping it by the top of the steps in one smooth, controlled motion. The jounin was not an extremely muscular man, but he had the body of one who was trained to kill, and above all, wasted no movement. In a short minute, Manta made it to where his two students were. As he approached them, he whipped out his wrist, as if to stretch. In actuality, he had subtly slipped two single, tiny shuriken into his palm, a surprise attack that both students ought to be able to dodge easily.
Manta reached his two students, and bowed deeply, a sign of respect for his two young, inexperienced, and most likely extremely foolhardy charges. "Ryuu, I'm sorry I'm a bit early. The graveyard visit was cancelled, unfortunately. I want you to listen up, both of you." Manta strode to Maki, offering his hand in a firm but friendly handshake. "My name is Mantama Sakeyoda, I'll be the Jounin you'll be taking orders from for the next few years. You two, introduce yourselves to each other, and then listen up. There's a new Kazekage instilled. Maki, you're new so I'm assuming you already saw him. His name is Darello, he's a Puppeteer. The man's a damn good fighter, regardless of all the smack I give puppeteers. However, we're going to train extra hard these next few months. The reason we do this is because any major change in power will result in a lot of instability and muddled waters for all the villages. We need to keep watch over this village and it's people, and the only way to do that is to get stronger." Manta finished his little speech, and simply stood, waiting for a reaction from his students. Maki watched as a man suddenly appeared, his hand would go to his dark pants and hold onto a few small round balls just incase he would need to make a quick get-a-way. However when the man came forth and offered a handshake, Maki would extend one hand, which was not grasping the round balls, and shake it promptly. The man spoke calmly and fast, he came-off to Maki as a man who didn't like to waste time, this, Maki could appreciate. Looking to his squad mate he spoke, "I am, Maki Uchiha. It will be a pleasure working with you." Maki stated calmly and quietly. Looking back to his Sensei he spoke calmly and quietly still "Senpai, when will we go on a mission? Wouldn't a mission help bring stability in showing the new Lord Kazekage could bring uniform even to the newest squads in a quick and sufficient manner in the way of having them successfully completing a mission on such short entrance to the office of power?" That being said, it was so hot here that it was crazy. The wind would blow and he could see the sand being moved below.

Ryuu looked up when he heard Manta talking. It seemed that he wouldn't be doing this training quite yet. Ryuu sighed softly and wrapped the fish back up. He was probably going to have to deal with that smell all day now but, it didn't really matter. The smell could be dealt with, he just wasn't going to enjoy the day as much. Ryuu put the fish back in his bag and stood up. He hadn't noticed the other genin just until now. The boy said that his name was 'Maki Uchiha' so, it seemed that this was his teammate. Hmmm. A Uchiha. I thought they were only in Konohagakure. Seems strange for one to be here. Ryuu thought to himself as the boy introduced himself and said some thing about missions. I'm Ryuu Saito. He said when Maki was finished talking. It seemed that all of his teammates were here except for one.

I GIVE YOU...Manta seemed to beam for a moment, looking at his two students fondly. "Well, now that you two are acquainted, let's start training. Ryuu, I know you're mostly a long-range guy. Maki, I'm not quite sure what you specialize in, but I feel like we'll find out soon enough." Manta's grin quickly turned from kind to just plain evil.
The veteran pulled out the shuriken, embedding it deeply in the ground, with a quick flick of his wrist. Time to see what this young new generation was capable of. "Here's an old favorite of mine, we used to do this quite a bit when I was a gennin. Of course, this was about twenty years ago, so it might seem a bit outdated to you. The first thing we'll work on is raw stamina. You two, fight. I don't care what you do, just fight until one is knocked out. Expend all your chakra in this fight. The winner, you're allowed to come at me afterwards. Your goal, is to cut me, doesn't matter where, or how small the cut may be. You just have to cut me with this shuriken."ULTIMATE JUSTICE.

When he said to fight, Maki took out the smoke bombs immediately, small tiny shaped purple balls, and threw them to the ground, covering them both in purple smoke, even if having ran forward from the distance, the small distance should have worked for Maki to have enough time to deploy the small smoke bombs, with his other hand he threw paper explosive tags 10 inches to the northwest, 10 inches to the northeast, and 15 inches to the north. As he did so Maki would jump backwards out of the small smoked area and begin using hand signs. The smoke still lingering and blocking their line of sight from each other. However, Maki jumping backwards made him be able to see in all directions except the area in which was covered by smoke, and Ryuu would most likely be in the same situation.

Ryuu was somewhat surprised at the fact that Manta wanted him to fight Maki. It was an interesting idea but, before Ryuu had really any time to react, Maki had already made the first move. There was purple smoke all around him and he wasn't sure where Maki had gone off to. Ryuu reacted as quickly as he could and made a few handseals. Once the handseals were done, crystal formed all around Ryuu and it made a small dome. Ryuu continued to make handseals and a mirror of crystal formed infront of him. Once he was done with this jutsu he continued to make hand seals and clones started to climb out of the mirror. Ryuu knew that he had to be fast as the purple smoke was only going to cover his movements for a little bit. When the last jutsu was complete 3 clones had climbed out and the mirror went into the side of the dome. All of these jutsus were most likely covered by the smoke and this gave Ryuu a slight advantage.

As Maki was out of the smoke area, and the smoke would dissipate into the rest of the air, clearing the line of vision, he would notice that Ryuu seemed to be inside of a small crystal dome. However, Ryuu made one vital mistake, when he had created the dome around himself, he had also trapped inside the smoke from the smoke bombs, meaning he still could not see, nor could he breathe as the air around him was flooded with smoke still and no oxygen could be added to the mix of the tainted air around him, [as it was last post] and not oxygen. As well he was expending chakra and stamina by using the three jutsu while getting no real oxygen into his body, which in theory, would decrease his stamina even more. As of now he would begin to suffer from mild oxygen deprivation and some of those symptoms would be confusion, fainting, and lack of muscular coordination. Maki would notbe involved in these symptoms as Ryuu had created the small dome around just himself and Maki was not listed as to being in the dome. Maki would continue his hand signs and smile lightly as he watched onto Ryuu's predicament.

When fighting a opponent of greater power you must do something unexpected. Ryuu thought to himself as he made a handseal with his clones and made the dome go down into the ground. He knew that Maki probably had a good advantage over him but, in order to win this fight he had to do something spontaneous. Ryuu had one of his clones start having a coughing fit and jump back wards while Ryuu and his other clone ran forward. He wasn't in the smoke all that long but, it was long enough for Ryuu to feel the effects of it. He had to take down Maki before he could be noticed. His coughing clone continued to cough and fell to the floor while Ryuu and his other clone ran forward. He was hoping that this would work. If not then it was for nothing.

The smoke, now finally being released, would start to dissipate into the air. As it did the last time, but was not yet at full release; However even though someone had jumped backwards and started a coughing fit, two noises could be made out running foreword, for coughs were not a complete noise and their were breaks between, so as they came closer all of a sudden three blasts would go off as the two would be on top of them, unable to see due to the smoke. The three formerly placed explosive tags. With one being enough to do serious damage, [let alone to Ryuu who is physically weaker], let aloe three to go off, one below, one to the right, and one to the left of. They were just caught in the middle of a tri-blast and with no way of seeing them, they were more than likely trapped.

Ryuu had made one of the biggest mistakes that you could ever make in a battle and that was to not pay attention to your surroundings. He didn't see the explosive tags on the ground and when they went off he went flying forward, taking most of the impact from the explosive tags. His clone flew forward and broke into hundreds of pieces of crystal. The coughing clone moved up a bit and ran towards Maki, no longer coughing. Meanwhile Ryuu was slowly loosing consciousness. He was mad at himself for making such a rookie mistake. Ryuu was lucky that he still had his crystal armor up. It was mostly destroyed however and his body wasn't in the best condition. Ryuu had to make one last attempt at getting this guy. His clone ran forward and Ryuu made a few handseals when the clone was right next to him. As Ryuu made the handseals, the clone jumped straight up into the air and when these hand seals were finished, the clones body started to shoot shuriken out of it. The whole clone's body became shuriken, raining them down upon Maki. These flew with the other pieces of crystal. So, there was now two things that could hit him potentially. However, Ryuu wasn't going to see it if they did hit as he passed out almost instantly after he finished his last jutsu.

Unfortunately for Ryuu, when they went flying and the other ran towards him, Maki threw another few explosive tags forward, exploding upon impact with the ground which the last clone had ran forward with, meaning sense he ran straight and never stopped, he would meet the explosions head on and with the last time a clone encountered it, he seemed to reason it would also explode. Having finished the jutsu with his hands and maintaining it with his right, he released the jutsu. Suddenly a torrent of crows would appear all around Ryuu as he was on the ground and he would be as if in his own space and time continuum yet surrounded by crows. From here, Maki would jump to the left quickly and run in a small 75 degree mark around Ryuu. If Ryuu had shot any crystals himself, he would have no sense of direction to shoot them, especially due to the jutsu. And the clone could not as it ran forth unto several exploding tags. •Dusk Crow Genjutsu~ B Rank This genjutsu traps a victim in a powerful illusion with no necessary eye contact; similar to Ephemeral. When used on Naruto, the genjutsu projected a torrent of crows, leaving him at Itachi's mercy. Chakra Points: 24 - 4 (B Rank) = 20 Chakra Points.

Ryuu was already unconscious so, the genjutsu would have absolutely no affect on him. However, the explosion is what would be the worst thing for Ryuu. The clone wasn't far away from Ryuu when the explosive tag was thrown to destroy the clone. When the explosive tag went off, it would also affect Ryuu. His body was already in a bad condition from the first three explosive tags but, with the other ones his condition went from bad to worse. His body was thrown again farther and his body was a bloody mess. Most of his clothes were torn apart, revealing cuts and bruises all over him. Without the armor he was barely protected against the other explosive tags. Ryuu obviously was going to need to go to the hospital to survive.
