xxxxxxHallows is a peculiar fellow. Not downright evil but not downright good either. He is of mixed blood which gives him leeway to move between worlds. However, he does so with hesitation. Knowing that mixed bloods are not highly looked upon by many Hallows keeps to himself mostly. Fiercely protective of those who are close to him. And fiercely loyal to those who have gained his trust. That said, once you break that trust its hard to get it back. It's not impossible, but its not easy. Hallows is of a good heart overall, and more than willing to chat and speak with others should they happen to want his company.
xxxx♠ History:
xxxxxxAs a young colt Hallows originally grew up in the shadows of the desert mountains. His mother was a fallen unicorn, his father a demon. (Or so the stories told.) Hallows never got to see his father. And if he did it was usually within the darkest shadows where nobody dare tread. Their herd believed in magic, dark magic, and on the nights of the first lunar month a sacrifice was given to the dark gods. Specifically Kalona.
From a young age his shaman mother taught him the ways of dark magic. But yet Hallows never saw anything happen. He never told his mother of this, but he did confide in one person, his older brother. Him and his brother were quite close. But little to Hallows knowledge, his brother harbored a deep jealousy towards him. So much so that his brother sought a way to get rid of him.
The time did come for his brother to exact his plan. And in the ensuing panic, Hallows was lost over the mountain side cliffs. From there his wings were broken, never to be fully healed, forever stunted. And his memories of his upbringing vanished. From here on out Hallows was on his own. A wanderer with no memory.
Eventually Hallows was taken in by a herd of lesser soquili. More specificially, an old healer. She took him in and healed his wounds, but the scares forever remained. The others in the herd didn't trust him though. He reminded them of the evils of the world. They wanted him out. However, due to the nature of the Healer, he was allowed to stay, and became the nightly protector.
Older, Hallows kept to his post with no comment. Keeping out intruders and keeping his opinions and comments to himself. Eventually the old Healer went back to the Gods, and Hallows found himself alone again. From there on Hallows stayed with the herd, but at a respectable distance. Only to come when asked.
Then he met Nymphalidae, a mare of mixed blood like himself but much darker, much angrier. She didn't trust him at first, and neither did he towards her. But something pushed them together. And under the full moon he had his first taste of blood in years. From then on he began to hunt with the mare, forming an unlikely alliance. Neither one could call it friendship, but nor could they call it mere acquaintance.
Nymphalide got into his head, she spoke to him about many things, concepts, and history. And he eventually told her about his memory loss. She didn't seem to mind, in fact, she seemed to find it intriguing. And so she offered to help him regain his memories. It didn't take long, and Hallows' life flashed before his eyes.
Coming out of it Hallows was changed. Darker, more malevolent. And before he knew it Nymphalidae and him wiped out the herd that kept him at a distance. Kept him away out of fear and disrespect. They began to journey together afterwards. The goal to find Hallows homeland. And Hallows to take control. Little did they know, things wouldn't go as planned.
Nymphalidae became pregnant with their first children. And the alliance between them began to crack. They fought. They made up. But the volatile mare would not be subdued. On the eve of their child's birth Nymphalide vanished with all but one basket, leaving Hallows to take care of the first born.
Now a father, Hallows is unsure of the future.

xxxxxxVana is very much a quiet stallion. Very shy, very soft spoken. He doesn't like to create trouble. In fact, he'll be the first to skitter away if trouble comes his way. If he can't get away, he hides in some way. He is also the smallest out of his siblings, gaining the flutter trait from his mother. So he feels that it's much easier for him to hide than to stay out in the open. That said, he's usually very nervous, especially around others. It doesn't matter if it's a stallion or mare. You walk on four legs, he's hesitant to come near you. The only creature who's truly gained his trust is his familiar Sansa. She's been with him since he was a young foul. She's looked out for him and he's very grateful. Sometimes, when he's really nervous he'll stutter have trouble finding the right words. This is due to his time with Asmodeus. Luckily, he's come out alright considering the circumstances.

xxxxxxVana's basket was the one taken by Nymphalidae when she fled from Hallows the night after she gave birth. What his mother didn't realize was that Asmodeus, under the guise he would take her as a mate for all eternity, had zero intention of doing so at all. In fact, he only had sights on Vana's basket. And after a fight, Vana was taken from his mother. So, when he burst from his basket he honestly had no idea what his mother looked like. All he remembered was her voice. Suffice to say, Vana's childhood has not been easy.

xxxxxxLike her temper, Njola is a trecherous, devious, and down right dark mixed blood mare. She harbors little to no love towards her family and in fact, would down right hate them if they didn't feed and house her. Njola thinks that her father is a weakling for letting his past dictate his future and she thinks her mother is downright ridiculous and weaker than her father. Vanaheimr she loves to manipulate when she can and her and Desiderius pretty much ignore each other. (Lazy Jerk, as she likes to call him.) As for Ingveldur, well, you can put the two in the same room without a fight. Like her mother before her she believes in purity, and abhors her mixed heritage. That said, it's unknown where her hatred comes from exactly. While her parents care, she doesn't. And she hates them for loving her anyway. The restraints need to go at all costs; she's tired of feeling trapped.

xxxxxxAllan is very much the gentleman, opting to make sure than any female he is in contact with is pampered and given the upmost respect. As such he is traditionalist, which he should be the one to take care of his mate and children. On that same note, he is prone to falling for another easily if the conditions are right, like when he had feelings for Candy Heart. Suffice to say the feelings were one sided and he was quite hurt and upset that she only had eyes for a stallion with a knack for singing. To counter this feeling of hurt he tried to get back at her by becoming a bit of a flirt, which brought Lyssa to him and gave him two daughters. Despite this habit he does mean every compliment he gives, and doesn’t intentionally want to hurt any mare. He would be quick to apologize if he’s given awareness of the indiscretion. xxxxxxPrevious history before he came to the kawani lands is unknown. Allan used to have a crush on one of his pink herdmate Candy Heart. But unfortunately it wasn't meant to be, and he was very hurt. During his wanderings he came across Lyssa and they had a sweeping romance, producing two daughters in the process. But alas, once again he was to be hurt. Lyssa disappeared as well as both daughters. He hasn't heard from them since. He was alone again. Luckily this time alone wouldn't be for long, and another mare has come into his life. What happens next is all up to them.

xxxxxxShe doesn't know her father, Allan. In fact, she was pretty much on her own for many of her early years as a foal. It wasn't until she met Zival that she truly had anyone she could rely on. However that didn't stop her from having a good nature, go lucky attitude. She was taken in by a family of rabbits and they did what they could for her. However it certainly wasn't the best thing for a young filly.
Then she met Bella one day. The Elder had been down on a walk and Lyra just so happened to run into her, quite literally. Lyra was capitvated and Bella pretty much took her in right then and there. Now Lyra is a part of Bella and Azumoth's herd, raring to go and learn from the best.

xxxxxxMusso started off as quite the flirtatious, flamboyant mare. Using her looks and charm to charm the tails off of stallions. When she became the consort to Vladislav, she took on a more subdued, but no less still flirtatious front. But time brought a more soft and friendly side to her. In reality, Musso is very sensitive mare, and is actually very accepting of others. The flamboyant, flirtations are nothing more than a smoke screen. Vladislav began to bring out more of her true nature, but when he cast her out, her world shattered. Now with Reject as her only source of comfort she's very quiet, very dull, and very sad and barely speaks.

xxxxxxWhen she was young Musso was ostracized by her herdmates. The only soquili that would accept her were her parents and her sister, Flashback. She decided to hide her true nature by becoming something she wasn't, creating walls so that nobody could hurt her again into adulthood. Due to this she traveled a lot, never staying in one place for very long.
Then she met Vlad. He was the first soquili to actually outright accept her for who she was outside of her immediate family. They were drawn together. Him by her beauty and charm and her because of his actions towards her. He was very kind, very sweet. Showered her with attention that she so craved as a foal but never really had. They formed a romantic bond forged out of mutual appreciation.
Eventually Flashback came back into Musso's life. And it cast a shadow over Musso's world. Musso was by no means upset that her sister was back, however, the attention Vlad used to have for her began to form around her sister instead. Confused, and certainly jealous in some respect, Musso lashed out. And the downward spiral began. Musso became pregnant with Vlad's foals.
Musso thought Vlad would be happy, they would finally have a family and Musso would be able to shower her foals with love and attention, providing a herd that accepted soquili of all shapes, sizes and personalities. But those thoughts were quickly destroyed. Vlad slowly became distant, wouldn't be around her as often. And Musso would find herself alone with the foals in her belly most nights. She became nervous and scared, how would Vlad react when she finally gave birth?
During all of this she met Reject, a uni-kalona healer. He was shy, but very proper and nice to her. Musso took to that and she opened up to him about what was going on. How she was feeling. And he listened without judgement. Musso had found a friend. He became her healer as she became heavier and heavier with foal. Helping her through the nausea and pain in her joints as the foals grew. Reject was always patient and dutiful. To which, Musso was forever grateful.
Eventually Musso did give birth. One boy and one girl. She was tired, but happy, she had two baskets to take care of even if Vlad was going to be there. But, unfortunately that wasn't meant to be, and Musso's world shattered. Vlad decided to take the baskets from her and tell her that she needed to leave within twenty four hours. She was no longer welcome in his territory. Musso was shell-shocked to silence.
Reject has helped her get out of Vlad's lands. And now she has to start the journey to pick up the pieces of her life and try to put it back together.

xxxxxxSon of Musso Koroni and Vladislav Draculesti. Patricius is not what you would say, a coordinated stallion. He's pretty much blind save for a single glowing red eye on his chest and his tiny bat friend that follows him around everywhere. Quick to apologize, Pat has a stutter that he hates. It's not just when he's nervous, but when he's also trying to have a general conversation. He doesn't really understand the outside world, which is why he finally left to travel without telling his father.
He has a small fear of mares because his mother left him. His father never really helped to alleviate the fear either. So it takes some time for him to trust them. He doesn't hate them, not by any means, but he's not as inclined to trust them right away. Depending on the day, he'd probably think they're there to eat him over holding any sort of conversation. Pat is pretty quiet, but enjoys a good conversation.

xxxxxxPatricius has no idea who his mother is. From the time he was born she was nowhere to be found and all his father told him and his sister was that she was gone and would not be coming back. Early foalhood was alright, although sometimes his sister would try to bite and eat him. It also didn't help that he was born blind. So things in his world was certainly different. It wasn't until he got older that he felt that something was actually wrong.
It started as a simple pang in his chest. It would come and go a couple of times a day. His father told him it was just growing pains. His two aunts would say the same. But he continued to think it was something else. He could feel something moving inside of him. And it was very scary. In the middle of the night a year later he woke up in excruciating pain. So much so that his cries could be heard across his father's territory. His skin was splitting on his chest. Within seconds his father and aunts were there. His sister looking curiously at him.
That was when he got his first taste of being able to see. It was disorienting and scary. Patricius had no idea what do. But he was in so much pain. The eye, it had to be gone. Multiple times he would try to tear it out. But each time one of his family members would tackle and stop him from doing any damage. But the pain just wouldn't stop, and would increase during the day time. Vlad decided then that something had to be done. And so Patricius was outfitted with a collar.
Adulthood brought curiosity, and Patricius wanted to know more of the outside world. Having come to terms with his "disability", he wanted to see if his mother was the same as him. So, one night while his father and aunts were gone, he left the home territory. He's not sure where to look or if he actually wants to find his mother. But there's no turning back now.

xxxxxxElysia is spunky and happy mare. She’s always up for making new friends and protecting the animals near her home. As such she has a plethora of familiars who like to come and keep her company. Elysia can get quickly frantic when she accidently shocks someone, falling into a quick talk that can make any soquili’s head spin from trying to keep up. On top of being just shocked by her from getting too close this leads to many comedic moments, mostly at Elysia’s expense. Overall though, she’s a kind hearted individual who likes games and playing.

xxxxxxElysia hasn't been in the Kawani lands for very long. Much of her life was spent in her human form outside, seeing the rest of the world. When she came to the Kawani, she found comfort in her horse form, and made a home in the forest trees.
Months turned into a year, maybe two, and then she came upon the stallion who called himself Honovi. An honorable male, full of passion and drive, Elysia was smitten by him almost instantly. Honovi seemed to be the same way, if his static mane and tail from getting to close to her was any indication. He was fascinated by her too. And the pair quickly fell in love.
As they traveled and lived together Elysia met Oberon and his mate Takkun. A cute couple who wished to have children and create a family to call their own. Elysia absolutely adored them and felt for them and their plight, so she talked to Honovi about helping them. When Honovi agreed, moved by her touching gesture, Elysia and Oberon came together in union.
The God's quickly graced the pair with three beautiful foals, two fillies and one colt. Elysia wanted to help bring up the foals with Oberon and Takkun, stating that it takes a village to raise a child. And so the four became a small family unit, staying together and help raise all three children to adulthood.

xxxxxxMikaru is very much a ladies man. He's a natural flirt, and doesn't think a mare can resist his charm. Suffice to say, it's gotten him into trouble, in the form of Amarii. Thus, he's quick to anger, and doesn't let things go easily. Especially when it comes to the opposite sex. However, Mikaru isn't just a mindless, flirtatious stallion. He has a drive to prove himself, a thirst for knowledge and to become better. Some have considered his flirtatious ways as a means to hide his own insecurities. Mikaru won't deny this, but he also won't talk about and verify their hypothesis. He would rather have a smile on his face and have fun. If you give him some time, you may find that he's a sweetheart just trying to make everyone else happy. Even though it may be in a less than normal manner.

xxxxxxHe doesn't like to talk about his past. But he will say he's taken care of himself from day one. There's the idea that he's had no real upbringing, having to rely on himself to get things done and to be happy. Mikaru doesn't really stay in one place for very long. A wanderer's heart. But in reality he's looking for a place to call home. Unforunately he hasn't found that yet.
Along the way he's met many random soquili, none completely catching his interest or taming the wandering spirit. At least, until he met Amarii. A self proclaimed princess. Mikaru, in his attempts to woo the mare because he found her absolutely gorgeous, was shocked when she bit him in the a**. Metaphorically speaking of course. Never before had Mikaru met such a mare! This gave him a jolt and they ended up in a very heated argument. they left on rather nasty terms, but yet she would leave Mikaru's mind. Her word's stung and it made him question everything.
This questioning kept him nearby for some time, until one day where he met an interesting older stallion by the name of Galahad. He discovered that Galahad considers himself a knight. From her time during foalhood and learning of her kind’s history and the creation of this current alliance to her coming into adulthood, Sanyue has always devoted all her time to keeping her people happy. She has generally no problems with horned Ulun’suti and will offer her advice when needed and wanted. xxxxxxSanyue is deeply troubled by the current conflict the rebellion has created. She understands their motives, but she also understands the need to end this conflict in the quickest and best way possible that will profit everyone. She’s not completely sure how things will go in these current negotiations but she’s willing to do whatever it takes. Her first priority is her people back home, always and forever. Everything is a give and take scenario and hopefully both sides will have the ability to reach a compromise.
Sanyue has known the ambassador for a number of years before their current situation. While she considers the mare a friend she is unsure of the other. As such with this current situation going on she has little time for herself. She has pretty much put everything else on hold, including finally settling down and finding a mate. To her that’s the last thing on her list of things to do. If anything she wonders if she’ll actually find a stallion willing to put up with her and her current situation with this rebellion. Either way, she has little time and drive to think about it too much. Sanyue just hopes things will go back to a semi-normal balance once this is all over.

Which is why he joined the herd to begin with when it first formed. However, over time, as the Protector grew more and more corrupt, more and more blood thirsty, this stallion began to get concerned. He watched his brothers and sisters fall needlessly and the Protector give little to no regard for the welfare of the herd. For, in his mind, the Protector cared for little else besides his power over everyone. Not just lessers, but the kalona throughout the land. Through his time in the herd he’s made it his prerogative to gain respect of those around him. For in order to keep the kalona from becoming completely unhinged and diluted, there has to be calm voice of reason. xxxxxxMatania and her siblings grew up in the cold, harsh mountains, up in the Northern Region. They called it Asmodae. Their herd was called Ishlagen. Each soquili skilled in battle. Each skilled in taking care of themselves even in the harshest of climates and storms. The herds of Asmodae were a unified bunch, intelligent and swift. Matania and her siblings grew up with the notion that only the strongest survived.
Their parents did not live in Ishalgen, for their were considered Daevas, those who earned their wings. Only the strongest and most worthy were allowed that title and the right to live in the capitol herd called Pandaemonium. Their mother was a healer, their father, a knight. Both were protectors of the region, of the herds, of those who called themselves Asmodian.
As a young filly Matania did not have the patience of a healer like her mother. It was too slow, too boring. She grew up idolizing her father, the knight who served under the great stallion leader Marchutan. Through her father’s initial tutelage she learned the ways of guiding the blade, her claws. It wasn’t easy of course, and her father made sure to drill that into her mind. Matania failed, gained scars, yelled at until she cried, trained until she bled, but in the end she persevered. And she was eventually asked to join the Raiders of her herd, foregoing her status as a gatherer.
As a Raider she was tasked with the simple job of patrolling their herd grounds. It was a simple task but Matania took to it greatly. However, when she was a on the verge of her mid-teen years, their herd leader’s daughter, Rae, disappeared. Vanished without a trace. While all the Raiders were on the hunt to find her and bring her back to Ulgorn, Matania discovered that their sworn enemies, clawed draconic soquili calling themselves Balaur, were trying to infiltrate their herd lands.
In discovering this treachery, Matania also found Rae who had hidden herself so as to spy on the enemy herd. With Rae’s help Matania was able to locate the mountain trail in which the enemy was coming through, hidden within a cave, and created an avalanche to block it. Not only did it stop the enemy from coming through, but it also destroyed much of their resources.
With that Rae was returned to the herd, much to her father Ulgorn’s delight, and Matania spoke of what took place on those mountain trails. Ulgorn thanked her for her service and Matania went back to doing what she did best, patrolling. But of course things weren’t going to stay simple. Due to her fortitude Matania was approached by a Daeva stallion who called himself Vex, a Gladiator Knight hailing from Pandaemonium. Vex had taken an interest in her, and so Matania was allowed to leave the Ishalgen Herd and taken to Padaemonium where she began her real training.
