O AO chiirp
The candy corn treat ceased in mid air, tiny wings faltering momentarily in shock of the warm-headed one bearing wings of that magnitude. That in combination with the candy offered, West didn't have to do much else to have Sweets whirl towards him and perch within his hand. It stared up, wide-eyed and sniffing the air around the wrath demon excitedly before crouching down on all fours, sniffing at what the boil held. The tatzel crept slowly from behind, glancing up at West to be assured that he was not going to do anything to startle the treat. When Sweets had begun nibbling at one kernel, it dropped the card in order to grasp the candy and Levi moved in for the snatch.
Plucking the card away from the underside of the fluffy mini, the tatzel sighed with relief, pocketing it before coiling her tail around the settled treat in West's hands, cocooning it. Gotcha'now! Chirping sounded from within and tiny pads drummed against the wrath demon's palms. She'd purposefully startled the treat so it would know what it had done. West wasn't the only one who had learnt to beware the tail. That'sa bad critter. Don'tcha be stealin' what ain't yers! More chirping was heard but the stomping about had ceased. I'm gonna letcha'out, but ya'll goon home right this instant, ya'hear? Go'on now! Git'goin'! Releasing the coil, Sweets stared at Levi, tail between its legs before it flew out into the air towards the monster dorms again. The candies, West would find, were gone.
Just gotta'give'er a firm talkin'to. The tatzel watched the mini head towards the building in the distance suddenly aware that they'd been led quite far away from their original place of solitude. Well dangit. Sighing, she wrapped her arms around her midsection, scanning the area before looking back to West. Don't reckon this is tha'sorta place fer what'I had planned fer us no more.

He hadn't expected things would be this easy. When Master didn't want him to catch her, there was little he could do to prevent the scareon from getting her way. Luckily, she rarely caused the kind of trouble he needed to chase her to resolve. No, mostly she just had a way of drawing his attention back to those embarrassing things he had never thought he would ever have to think about again. West held as still as he could while the treat sat in his hand, fighting the urge to roll his shoulders and stretch the recently strained muscles of his back. While Sweets had been easier to get a hold of than he had anticipated she would be, it hadn't been without effort. He could have simply chased the creature using only the power of his legs, but an insistent part of him had wanted to show off a little. He huffed softly in amusement as Levi retrieved the card and scolded her pet, shaking his head as it flew off. Troublemaking fuzzbucket.
Eventually his gaze followed hers, eyes narrowing at her declaration. "Didja need anythin' special t'carry out these plans?" he asked, his voice heavy with a false indifference he certainly didn't feel. "Or couldja do 'em anywhere? Say... my room?" Normally he wouldn't have been so suggestive in public, even thought they were alone, but... they were really really alone. Their chase had taken them quite a ways away from the walkways most students took to get from place to place, and there was no one around to hear his muttered invitation anyway.
"It is closer." Without waiting for her reply, he slowly turned toward the demon dorms, his wings folding close to his back before disappearing completely.

The ghoul slowly turned her head, picking out the small bag from West's hands and placing it back where it belonged. She'd just about become accustomed to seeing West's wings, but her eyes did drift to the boil's back as they disappeared from view. The feathery appendages served as a reminder of their first encounters; pleasant memories.
Just as the boil coyly diverted any signs of his own physical interest towards denial, Levi continued her own charade. Well, nah. 'magine could do 'em just 'bout anywar ya'll could think'a. Yer room, ma'room, 'er right 'ere. At this point, the ghoul slid her hands both around West's back in a loose hold, sides of her palms coming forward again, resting at his hips and gliding back. There was a sort of rocking to this motion; part hug and part massage. Hmm? Whaddaya, think? She tilted her end slightly and gave a sly little smile. This is even closer ain't'it?
It was a lie, but the tatzel was going for simple shock value here. As always, Levi enjoyed pushing West's various buttons just to see his expressions; the stranger and more out of place, the better. The wrath demon would surely see through her, but would he also try to push the envelope or try to find his way out? Levi wasn't keen on the idea of public interaction; at least- she was as much as he presumably was.

His teeth flashed briefly as he laughed low in surprise, the resulting grin turning slightly wild for a moment after. "Right 'ere?" West knew she was messing with him and he was pretty sure he would never actually take her up on such an offer, but that didn't mean it wasn't tempting to consider. Everything she did was tempting.
He leaned back a bit, lifting his hand to brush at her hair as he examined her face. "Yer right. This would be closer than my dorm." The boil's voice lowered as his smile grew again. "But m'dorm's more fun." He didn't elaborate, hoping that her imagination would spur her toward a more private location.
West took a step back with the intention of breaking away from her grasp, but at the same time his tail rose to loop around the closest bit of hers, squeezing it playfully.

Levi rubbed into West's hand as it left between her shoulder and cheek, keeping her eyes on the boil's and considering his words with a returned smile. Well now, if that's a promise. Hands retracting, the tatzel slipped them behind her back, folding one hand over the other innocently before gripping back onto the wrath demon's tail with her own. His initiating the tail curling always brought a rise in temperature to her cheeks. West respected her kin's customs and took it upon himself to interact accordingly. For a moment, Levi's glance shifted to some of the treetops while a picture of West with her family back home projected in her mind. Any worries or concerns about the circumstances of bringing her mate home were far outweighed right now by her absolute enthrallment of this image.
Now's not the time for this, ghoulie.
Levi shifted back to eyeing West. Her tail uncurled from his, but wavered from side to side behind her happily to display just how excitable she was made by his responses. Then take me'on home, boil! Hope ya'ain't too tired none from all that thar bird-flyin' a yers, 'er this might dang near put ya in'a coma b'fore I even git started with ya, kekeke! The white-eared ghoul's thick cackling escaped with her sudden burst into a sprint towards the demon dorms. Last one thar's gotta git as fresh as'a scarlin' straight outta'tha pumpkin! Levi dashed towards the door knowing that should have been enough incentive for the what demon to keep up a good attempt at racing her. The boil wasn't fond of revealing skin.

Last one there's gotta...what?
West wasted no time taking after the ghoul. He might not have immediately understood what she was getting at, but he recognized a challenge when he heard one. The day he failed to respond to one of Levi's challenges would be the day he had somehow managed to dissipate for good.
Even after her small head start, he quickly caught up with little trouble. All right, fine, he used his wings again, but that was only after he puzzled out her incentive. She might have intended to spur him forward with the threat of his own embarrassment, but it was the promise of her getting... fresh as a newborn scareling that was his real motivator.
By the time he had reached the entrance to the demon dorms, West couldn't have managed a scathing retort even if he'd had one to offer. He tried to mask his great huffs of breath by only taking them through his nose, but his chest still heaved with each one. A wave of his hand urged her to follow him as he made his way through the fancy halls to his room. By the time he got there, he could speak again.
"Fresh as'a scareling outta th'pumpkin, huh? We'll see." He fished his key out of his pocket and unlocked the door, his lowered head partially hiding his smirk.

Surprised wouldn't adequately describe the tatzel's response when she realized West was right on her heels and then at her side. The boil had the means to stomp craters into the very soil if he was agitated enough, but never was he so swift as to keep up with her at full speed. Apparently, the white-eared ghoul had selected the prime reward for this challenge. The fact that it was, well, her would earn West a very wide grin indeed; his motivation brought a sense a pride in the ghoul. Who knew all it would take to improve his speed would be-
Suddenly Levi's imagination drove her to stare down at West's hands, eyes widening. That was how she got through the hallways without spouting a word of commentary. That however, didn't detour her attempts at keeping the upper hand in this back-and-forth after he spoke. Forcing herself to nod, Levi took the open door and continued on through into West's room. Uh-huh. I'mma ghoul of'er word. Levi's words paused, not initially noticing the crinkle of paper under her feet upon entry. But this'ere was a tie, boil. Turning to face him, her hands came up and sat at her hips. So either we both ain't gonna er-...
Her eyes now drifted to the white envelopes along the floor of the entrance. Oooh? N' what's this? Playfully pouncing at the mail, the ghoul gathered them up and began flipping them over so they were neatly readable front first when she handed them over to the boil. What sorta secret notes ya'gettin' under that thar door? Kekeke~
Levi's eyes saw that there were names on each of the envelopes, but it hadn't yet registered what sort of names these were. It began to sink in when her cackles drifted down into silence. These are ghouls' names... Ghouls she even knew; ghouls he knew and that Levi saw him with often. Her smile began to fade. What're these? As curious as a crow as she was, Levi could not bring herself to attempt opening one of the letters herself. It was, afterall, still his mail. Logically, Levi couldn't accept some of the possibilities she thought of but emotionally, it was a wreckage of nightmares and disbelief. Reflecting in her eyes were thoughts from the past; thoughts that indicated that she was not what he was looking for. She didn't want to consider these things but-...

He closed the door again once they were through, smirking as she spoke. A tie was fine by him in this instance, though he would have preferred... Wait. What?
"Secret notes?" he said with a breathy scoff. West took the envelopes Levi presented him with and continued deeper into the room, rifling through them absently. Belladonna, Yaya... Yeah. Sure. Okay. "Scarentines things," he muttered. "Like you got. Stupid stuff. 'Cept fer yours, see. One of 'em's from yoooou." He plucked the ghoul's note out of the small stack and dangled it playfully in front of her for a second, the others still in his opposite hand.
"I'm sure they just wanna embarrass me, like..." He had been on the verge of mentioning prom and her previous reaction to his innocent but uncomfortable fraternizing with his female friends, but he thought better of it when he truly gave her his attention again and noticed her expression. "It's nothin'. Why're you... don't be mad." The irony of him telling someone not to give in to their anger wasn't lost on him, but he supposed anger wasn't what she was feeling, now was it? He would surely be able to tell, yet he felt nothing at all.
West tossed the notes onto his desk, eying the drawer that hid those hazy images from last year's photo booth, evidence that he'd cared for her before he'd been able to admit it. He faced the ghoul again, his eyes faintly narrowed. "Y'want me to open 'em up so you can check on me?" He knew he should have been sympathetic or tried to figure out what was actually wrong before he let distrust take over, but he wasn't accustomed to consoling this ghoul, especially not while he was in his right mind. Accusations came more naturally, even if he could admit her insecurities were justified, considering her lack of worldliness. At least his voice was still kind. Sort of.
