It IS Shiro. That was the point. I needed an old guy, who could put one right between the eyes, and act like a father figure. You know who sang out to me and presented himself to me on a silver platter? SHIRO. XD
But hey. Guy doesn't HATE kids. He dislikes them. They'll cause wastes of time, like one of his other strong dislikes. If they go missing? Waste of time. In a z-apocalypse? It'll only get worse. He dislikes them because they'll slow him down. Simple as that.
And hey. I don't PLAN to kill him first, if that's what you're wondering.

YES, I KNOW. And he'll die eventually, I'm sure. I'M NOT SURE I CAN DO THIS.

Well, I'm still not 100% sure how Ed is gonna go down. I just know he's the first NPC right now. And if David wins the hearts of them all, then maybe Ed will be cool with him. XD

Darya's not keen on kids because they can slow her down and are too dependent for her tastes. She'd be more likely to use them as bait or a distraction. That and she spent a year in Africa being shot at by child soldiers.
But my NPC loves kids. He's like a giant one himself. But he's a total Lennie so I wouldn't recommend David offering a hug.
