Molly beamed as Candace came over, and she placed her hands on the woman’s arms. “Hello, even prettier lady!” She giggled a bit, and then waved to Cass enthusiastically as she came in. “Oh, yes! I’d love to meet everyone!” She moved closer, though before she could try and get introductions, Aria seemed to get this meeting rolling. Molly paused, and her brows furrowed in thought. Any ideas…well…she did have one idea… But she didn’t want to sound stupid…but…she really wanted to try… Molly tentatively raised a hand, almost bringing it down at one point, before she swallowed nervously. “…Um…Miss Aria…I’d…I have a project I would like to work on.” She paused. “…I’d like to try and work towards becoming a…counselor…?”

Aria nodded towards Molly, acknowledging her and listening to her proposal. "That depends. Are you looking to counsel other hunters on what skills to focus on and develop, or more of a counselor in the... rehabilitation sense like Killzone was?" Aria pressed, gesturing for the intermediate hunter to go on. "What supplies do you need? Space? Equipment? Please give me a more detailed idea of exactly what you have in mind."

"Things an' stuff," the trainee mumbled absentmindedly as she finished off the doodle. Oh, the limitations of an ink pen that looked suspiciously like a crayon on this superbly grainy paper! It was only when she realized about 1.5 seconds later that she was talking to someone did Stormy lift her head to find one of the holder Hunters addressing her. Immediately an "eep!" sort of look of surprise crossed her face, a bolt of lightning against a rather nebulous countenance, and pulled her knees up to her chest defensively as she pressed the journal to her chest. "N-Notes," she rectified in a squeak. "It's a meeting, right? So I just thought that I should notes and stuff in case it's important . . . "Oh God look at her, a few sentences in and she already looked dumb. The one whose name she hadn't caught yet, all the curls and scribbles in her entry, mentioned being a counselor. The trainee bit her lip, wondering if she should comment. It was a meeting and their leader said everyone was allowed to give ideas, but . . . could she? She made a quick addendum under the unnamed Hunter's sketch before swallowing."I don't mind volunteering for whatever mission because I have zero luck and less skills and apparently death really likes me and also I attract beasts like nobody's business and I think that's a real problem, like, seriously, big evil things like finding me in seconds flat, but I can be the Carmen Electra to your King Kong or something - but like, without the boobs and all . . . And like, I might have ideas I don't know, I'm just kinda a trainee and don't want to go over my head or something I don't know, I just wanna help . . ." She forgot to adjust the volume but was too self-conscious to go back and repeat herself until prompted, staring at her bunched hands once finished as if the power of her awkward might make them dance somehow and distract her.

Cass actually passed a look towards Molly when she spoke up about wanting to be a counselor, before she raised her own hand. "Great minds think alike, it appears ma'am. I was also thinking along the lines of becoming a therapist - the...Killzone..kind."
She'd mentioned it to Aria once before, but it seemed like since she wasn't alone in the thought..well. "I don't know what Molly has in mind, however, so I'll let her share her thoughts on it first before I go any further."

To Candace a simple nod of the head and a raise of his cup between his hands. Acknowledging the senior hunter before quickly looking away as she kissed Molly on the cheek.
Well, Nevada kissed people on the cheek a lot, but that was Candace kissing... actually he had no idea who Molly was and looked back to her tilting his head a bit.
Speaking of Nevada it was probably a sign that he was completely used to her resting on his shoulder when he didn't at first notice her hanging on his. "Hey Nevada, haven't seen you out and about in a while, you don't come over anymore, you didn't lose the Christmas gift I gave you did you?"
He had no idea about the Otto incident.
Instead he moved with Nevada pouting at Cass, "First Rep, now you? Should I just start stuffing a bra or something to fit in a bit better? What about Before, does he count for what, at least half a guy?"

Nevada smiled happily at Cass, offering her hand for a firm shake before letting go. "I see, I hadn't known that we were so little in numbers, honestly I've been filling in every division since I woke that I haven't even had time to seek out our own team." She chuckled, nudging Roland.
"Don't worry, That just means more Roland for me Handsome." She furrowed her brow and sighed, "I had some issues that required my attention to be centered in a healthy enviroment." AKA She had been crying for the past week since her rejection from Otto. Although it wasn't ALL about Otto, just the overwhelming feelings, the homesickness, the sheer fact that she could die any day.
When the damn sprung a leak, it was only a matter of time till the whole thing came crashing down. The good thing was crying in her room alone had her building her mentality all back up again and well, she didn't have to feel bad about it.
"I still have your key." She gave the mist hunter a gentle smile before turning her attention to the older and more exprienced huntresses. Especially the one with curls. A counsler? Gosh she could really go for that.
Mumbling could be heard off to her right and she turned her head, cocking it at Stormy. "Oh hun, I don't think they heard you!...." The brunette gave a lazy wave at Stormy, "Gotta make yourself boistrous. like this..."
She gave a small ahem, "Actually I had a request, maybe even perhaps something we could cooperate with the Life division on concerning our visits to recover artifacts. I've been on two missions myself, and for both of them we've run into interferance into pinpointing doorways...portals as we call them, to the specified locations. I know we have some knowledge on portals and using them for locations but as we got outside our realm and our bases, we're kind of left on our own. I was thinking of making, or enhancing our portal systems into a smaller form to take with us on said missions and we can, instead of wildly hopping through portals hoping we reach our destantion, have some control over the places we DO end up. If that's possible."Quote: To all you other mist hunters Nevada was talking to too. >:U

Oh, yikes…Molly was now on the spot, and she hadn’t mentally prepared herself for this at all. The trainee lightly flushed red, but not wanting to disappoint her Division lead, she pressed forward. Molly nodded her head repeatedly at the last part, and her expression lit up as Cass spoke up as well. “Ah, yes!” She chimed. “I want to be…someone others can talk to…? Um…to try and help them out through difficult times…like Mister Killzone…Uh…” She reached up to rub her cheek, but then immediately snapped her hand down. “I imagine um…I’d just need…an office and…a couch…? Oh…and maybe a machine for water if someone gets thirsty! Only if you think that seems reasonable and appropriate…” Because this was obviously very important. She smiled sheepishly, and gestured towards Cass with a small wave. “Though I’m sure Miss Cass is way more qualified than I am…” Preoccupied with her own matter for the time being, Molly missed any looks or curious glances, but did pause to listen to what her fellow Misties had to say with interest. demon_pachabel They're a giant unit of moms, it makes sense : D

Aria raised an eyebrow as Molly spoke. "You... didn't really think about that, did you?" She laughed, shaking her head. "I think you need to think on this a bit more. It's good to know what you have in mind, however I don't think you should follow in Killzone's steps. I think you and Cass should work together to figure out exactly what you two need. When you two have a more concrete idea, then meet me later. There's still some information you need to propose to me, such as a budget size, location, how much time you want to dedicate to this, and what kind of counseling each of you wishes to do. Talking is well and good enough, but sometimes it's not enough. Even if each of you has different ideas about the kind of counseling, that's fine. As it is? Both of you are denied, for now." The division leader overlooked Stormy as the trainee seemed to murmur something to herself. "One day, Roland. One day. In the meantime, I suggest you avoid talking to Mark about stuffing and fix that desk that's still broken. Next." when Nevada spoke up, Aria sighed. "I recognize that you're a trainee," she began, "But you do realize which division you are in, yes? The Mist division acts as soloists or works in tandem with other divisions in such a way that we can fill in for their roles. You are supposed to be working with other divisions as part of your training," she chided openly. "And I am quite confident that I know what a portal is, what it's called, and how it works. As you are a trainee and have much to learn, I am going to deny your request. This isn't to shame you, this is to remind you to focus on your training first a foremost. The fact that you are left alone is on purpose." Aria held up her hand, preventing an interruption. "While the areas artifacts are held in have their own difficulties and trials, they make for ideal training places. I highly recommend you ask a hunter about the Savannah Desert. If you were stranded there, it is more than likely that you would die. It wouldn't be a gentle death. It wouldn't be due to the environment. It would be a torturous, long drawn-out agonizing death that you would have a higher chance of avoiding if you knew what you were doing." "Hell, if I were to drop you out in the wilderness right now? You would be a wreck. On the other hand," she continued, "If I dropped you off in the city, you would get by. A majority of hunters have little to know experience in the wilderness, and considering that's where Fear is generated the strongest and runs unchecked..." She trailed off, watching Nevada. "Do you understand? The portals are set up in such a way that you can learn how to deal with it. Monsters aren't the only thing out there that's trying to kill you." "In addition?" Aria turned her attention from the trainee to the rest of the hunters. "I am in need of two volunteers, and one of you must be an intermediate trainee or full Hunter. Please escort Nevada to Isla de las Munecas. While the environment isn't too strenuous, I feel Nevada could gain some experience on the field tracking down a hostile. Please report after me when you have finished." Nyxtsuki Moon Homework! Nevada needs to complete External Survey Mission 4D with two other players, preferably fellow Mists! When finished, please set up a PRP to follow up with Aria.

She was late. Ooooh she was late. Syd ran down the hall, jumping over random objects, looking much like she was in the middle of a mission--and skidded right past the door to the Mist Lounge, one hand grabbing the doorframe to keep her from going too far.
She pulled herself to a stop and looked down, checking at her clothing was all in place before going into the lounge. "I'm sorry--really, really sorry," she said, flushing as she raised a hand in greeting. "Sydney Lowe, reporting for duty, sir," she added.
Wow she was a moron, she thought.
You're tellin' me, Izy said, snorting.
Shut it, Izy.

Aria stared at Syd. "The next time you are late, please consider sneaking in and quietly joining us," she suggested. "As it is, thank you for volunteering to run the Miss Taken Tower after the meeting. Please take it as a chance to work on your stealth skillset for the future."

Syd looked down guiltily. "Yes sir," she said, looking rather sheepish. She had an excuse! She'd been all the way across the island, doing her daily run--but that wasn't an excuse for being so noisy about entering. She headed for one of the couches, dropping down silently and contemplating how long it had been since she did the tower. Izy commented.
Syd ignored him again. Izy had been cranky ever since she decided to do observation abroad. Even though they were back where they belonged, he was still being snippy with her. She was going to have to deal with that sooner or later.
She glanced around, seeing a lot of unfamiliar faces, and knowing without a doubt she'd just made a complete a** out of herself in front of her fellow mists. Good job, Syd. Good job. She forced herself to relax, leaning back and listening.
Izy asked, getting interested.
I think it's to figure out what we want to do as mists, she said, since he was asking a reasonable question.
I... have no idea, she admitted.

Cass felt the denial of the project's funding at the given time was reasonable - after all, if she and Molly were going to work on this together (suddenly, as they apparently hadn't known it was a mutual chain of thought) they needed to get their act together.
"Understood, Miss Aria. Will we be allowed to bring this to you personally when we feel we're ready or will there be a designated time for us to propose this again in the future?" she asked, before looking to Molly and motioning her over carefully with a hand, patting the seat next to her.

Oh! What a cute doodle! "Candace with an a-c-e, not i-c-e." She pointed to Molly's face on the paper. "And her name is Molly." Candace was being helpful! It was right after that she chuckled at the girl's panic, patting her head like one would an adorable child. How cute! She was shy. She definitely wanted to get to know this little lady. "Notes are good. Whatever helps you remember, right? What's your name?"Aria called to get started and she looked up. Ah! Right. She did have something she wanted to ask about, now she just had to...explain what she wanted to do. "The...Isle de las...isn't that.." The island with the dolls? Candace cringed. She'd seen that place on tv, usually for a paranormal investigation, and even they always got something during their hunts. Dolls didn't usually creep her out but that island was pretty special. "I'll go." Might as well. "Aria, I've been thinking about the suggestion you made about mentoring trainees? I think I'd like to do that in tandem with some outings I'd like to do, if that's possible. I've been wanting to check out more Arthurian research." She'd been doing reading, and there were a few things that caught her interest. Some things just didn't add up. "I'll get back to you on any budget I'd need. There are a few potential artifacts that I'd like to look into, and I think having some trainees help would be good practice on several different kinds of skills if things lead into a mission of some kind to go find the artifacts. It could take awhile. A few months, maybe?" She'd obviously give the trainees breaks should they need them, but she intended on putting as much into this as possible.

Ah! She was quick to etch in the missing info and scratch out the incorrect spelling, only blinking as her head was patted. "Right yeah okay sorry about that, ayyyy . . ." Something in Spanish was mumbled under her breath as she rubbed her cheek with the pen clicker, barely missing the fresh ink on her hand imprinting on her skin. Older Hunter alert, older Hunter alert! She was supposed to be looking everyone in the eyes, not staring at their feet like they were the collective 8th wonder - although perhaps team pride might prove that otherwise.
She made to give Candace her name but quickly shut her mouth again as another Mist ran in and was promptly given extra training for . . . entering noisily? Hmm. Note entry: Silence is golden, Stormy wrote down, as well as a few helpful reminders about being in the division, lest she forget. One never knew. She was the type to forget what she ate for breakfast that day.
Nevada too got saddled with a mission and, after listening to Candace talk about helping trainees, she decided it was a window of opportunity to try and not mumble at the Division Leader and, you know, try something. She even cleared her throat to be sure, raising her hand as if they were still in school. "Can - May I volunteer as the third person?" Stormy quickly corrected herself. "A-And be yours too, Miss Candace, if it gets approved? I wouldn't mind some help . . ." This, two possible counselors in the future . . . Yes, she'd have to make note of it in her journal, most definitely.
Wait. Herp.
"Oh and um right yeah, I'm Stormy," she added hastily, her hand lowering.
