"You know words and I aren't on the best of terms when it comes to fancy double talk. Just you know... biased speeches followed with punches." Siddie moved closer and Sammy welcomed the warmth of the smaller ghoul pressed against her as they continued to walk.
The laughter was sweet, but the question followed up caused Sammy to stumble mid step, "I what? What do you mean a pretty coat? Did someone break in or something?"
Bluff check....

"You are good at punching," Siddie said, smiling up at Sammy. "You can leave the words to me."
At Sammy's misstep, she giggled. "The navy blue one, you know the one. It would look nice with pants and boots, I think. I don't mind."

"Damn right I am." She said with a grin, reaching over to ruffle Siddie's hair happily. "I can live with that yeah."
In the end Sammy was left looking everywhere but at Siddie humming aimlessly before finally looking over, flames directed at a slant to watch her. "... Don't tell Junko."

Siddie reached over to poke Sammy's cheek, smiling widely and a little evilly. "I won't. I promise. You can borrow my things any time, you know, the ones that fit you. Oh, there it is - " she pointed at the teahouse as they rounded the corner, the building tucked in among boo-tiques and storefronts. "They just opened up, I came across it the other day when I was shopping."

Sammy made a little face sticking out her tongue as Siddie poked at her cheek. "You promise now till I have an excuse to not go to class then I know you'll hold this over me." Rounding the corner Sammy took a better look at the tea house shrugging a bit.
"Not much I plan to borrow... but well... maybe." She shrugged again before moving towards the teahouse. Once at the door she gave it a tug holding it open for Siddie, "After you pretty ghoulie."

"One of us has to be the responsible one," Siddie chirped mischievously. She affected a little curtsey and stepped into the teahouse. "Two," she told the one-legged ghost at the entrance, and slipped off her shoes before stepping up to follow the waitress to their table.

"We're doomed, I've rubbed off on you and the result is our both becoming trouble little missy." Shuffling in she looked around admiring the odd decoration of the tea shop, not something she would usually go to, but for Siddie? Anything.
Then she noticed that Siddie was taking off her shoes.
Sammy quickly crouched down scrambling at the black boots she was wearing to get them off. Crap stupid culture shoe thing. Damn boots.

"Admit it, if I was a meek and submissive little ghoulie you'd get bored," Siddie teased as Sammy caught up. She sat down at the low table and accepted a menu from the waitress. "Thank you."

"Well now hey, I don't know, you know you started off that way and I liked you well enough right? No reason I might have stopped the little spark of oopse." She stumbled a bit trying to keep up with Siddie and taking her boots off before finally shaking them both free and scooting along at a quick pace before dropping to her knees at the table.
"As I was saying, the spark of I dun know, boldness? Just makes you even more fun to be with then ever before." Taking a menu she started looking it all over.

"See?" Siddie set her menu down and smiled at Sammy. "I think it's a good thing. Try the scream tea. I think you'd like it." She set her purse in her lap and scritched behind Clove's ears.
After the waitress had come back to take their order and whisked away again, Siddie folded her hands on the table and gave Sammy a thoughtful look. "Do you think going out for the Boogeys will let you stay around here after school?"

"It is a good thing. You're a good thing. The best of things." Looking down the menu finding the tea and a few other things. When the waitress came by she ordered a scream tea and a few flesh rolls. While waiting she took two chopsticks and started filing them down while thinking about Siddie's next question.
"Well, I guess the job is here in the heart of the Town, so not too far from the school, and honestly... uhh I figured I'd probably try and squeeze living here as long as I can till we get a place near the school to live."

"I'm a thing now, huh?" Siddie teased, but she reached across the low table to pat Sammy's hand. "You're the best thing, too."
She nodded. "I've just been thinking. I'm not sure what I should do after we graduate. I want to do something with myself, not just sit around and look pretty, you know?"

"Not just any thing, the best thing. Remember that." Sammy shifted her own hand as Siddie reached over holding the other ghouls hand with a grin, she didn't need to say anything else regarding this. It was pretty clear how she felt about Siddie.
"Well Graduation is creeping up for me, and it won't be long for you so it's not like, a bad thing to think about really, we should be planning for it." She shrugged just a little bit. "I guess just... where though?"

Siddie nodded. She twined her fingers into Sammy's. "I'll be in third year soon, so I should start thinking about what I want to do. Some real-world skills to make seeds with. Maybe if we can get part-time jobs, we can start saving towards a place to live." She hesitated. "Calder was saying something about getting a house. I should ask him where they're looking at, see what prices are like, so we know what to shoot for."

Sammy's own fingers twisted around Siddie's feeling the faint tingling of warmth in her bones. "I mean you could work in a tea shop like this right? Or do Mini stuff at like a shelter or something. I could do I dun know, something physical? Construction?" The talk of saving towards a place brough a smile to her face but the later part of Calder's offer made her slump in the shoulders and her eyes cast down.
"I mean... I'm thankful for what he offered but... I wanted something that would be ours. I've never had a home that was mine and I just, I don't want to live on hand outs and stuff."
