Amy looked up, finally, and saw a boy with white bunny ears and golden hair. A girl with blue eyes and light short hair was at the kitchen, apparently cooking something. "Oh? You weren't sleeping? I should have poked you with a stick," she said rudely, grinning at all of them. "I'm Amy, if you must know. Oh, and I'm not a bookworm. Just stalling for time~" she added, introducing herself to the others. Closing the book shut, she tossed it freely on the nearest coffee table, not really caring for it. The book was so boring; why did she even borrow it? Oh well, it was no point of stopping, because the plot must get interesting at some point. She looked at Liam thoughtfully. He was cute with the bunny ears; Amy was most likely going to make up an adorable nickname for him. "Who are you, again? I never caught all the names," she said, with a smirk.
Even if she had a smirk on her face, Amy hated how there was so much people in this dorm. She forced herself not to make any unpleasant expressions in front of three people. Instead, she glanced at the kitchen, where the light haired girl was. Amy heard that she was making blue cheese potato salad, which sounded tasty. She hadn't eaten anything all day. She wondered if she can cook. In all honesty, Amy can't cook anything. The results looked horrible, but she never was interested in cooking. Or baking.

Liam turned to see Amy and smiled, his bunny ears did a small bounce as he turned to Amy. "My name is Liam Whitetail, it's nice to meet you!" He was happy to meet more people, hopefully that she won't be too weirded out by his bunny ears.
He looked over at the kitchen and his stomach growled again which made Liam laugh nervously. "Heh...heh...ignore that..." mumbled Liam. He went back to his quest to look around the dorm so he can find his room. "Now where is it?" mumbled Liam.

Donnie listened for the rest of the names, but only heard two more. Turns out he'd just be calling the girl with pink hair candy for now, hope she didn't mind. The book worm had spoken up, confirming that she wasn't a book worm, but he still wanted to call her one. She was known as Amy now, and he looked over at her when she had said she thought he was sleeping, "Good thing you didn't." The male glared at her for a moment and then turned and watched Liam scamper off somewhere down the hallway, most likely to find a room for himself. He wished he could retire to his room as well, but food still sounded good and Candy decided she was going to make something after all.
A salad, that sounded nice, perfect for something right before bed. He returned to the kitchen table and watched intently as she began to prepare the food. Watching her only made his mouth water and stomach growling. It hadn't mattered that Donnie already ate something, when food was offered he ate it. Amy was still in the living room and maybe she needed an invite to join at the table, "Amy, why don't you come sit down, I don't bite...unless you like that sort of thing of course." He laughed as he patted the chair next to him, wondering what her response would be. It wasn't that Donnie was trying to be obnoxious, it was just who he was, a teaser and someone who was afraid to play around.

Anne had already finished boiling the potatoes, and the smell had already made its way around the living room portion of the dorm, Anne walking over to the windows behind Donnie after she had turned off the gas, brushing something off of her apron as if some pieces of potato had made its way on it. Anne noticed that he had been calling her "Candy" now as she opened the windows to let the smoke out, her blue orbs still being snared by how bright the moon was. Anne didn't mind, it seemed like a suiting name for her, despite her personality and only focusing on how she looked. Anne did have a very light pink hair and large crystal blue eyes that seemed to twinkle whenever she looked at something or someone. "Candy". It was a name better than other names that she was called before. "I hope you won't become cold." she said, looking over at Donnie who was sitting down, "I just needed to get the smell out . . . I'll close it once the smoke has passed." Anne reached for the curtains, because she was short, and when she had gotten on her tippy toes, she was finally able to move the long drapes of flowery cloth the other way.
Anne then rushed over to the kitchen, careful not to trip on any of the luggage. When she stopped by the table, again, some of her hair had made its way to her eyes, annoying Anne as she stuffed her hand in her pockets, feeling for a clip that she pulled out. It was pink, small and it had little cherries to the side that seemed to be made of plastic. That was an old gift given to her by a friend back then, when she had first met Anne and wanted to help get some of the bangs out of her eyes since that girl thought that they were really pretty. When she looked at the clip that lay in her palm, she realized that she couldn't remember this girl's face now, but when she put it on, her fingers carefully tracing the hair that she made sure wouldn't stay back, it did feel nostalgic and better since air can finally touch her face. Anne had saved this little thing all this time, not because the friend was special to her, but because it was handy and reliable. The clip did make a little difference since it showed more of her pale face, tired from travel, and it made Anne look a little more childlike.
Anne heard Donnie tease the black haired girl that was known as "Amy", a very unexpected name. She had thought that this girl's name was something elegant, like Lolita, or Lilith, something with an "L". It was funny how both their names started with an "A" she noticed as Anne took out a small bowl and poured the ingredients inside. She whisked together the oil, vinegar, green onions, salt and pepper gracefully. Then, after dicing them on the table, added the potatoes, bacon and cheese and toss to coat. She knew that it was great served warm, room temperature, or chilled. Anne added the bacon last, hoping that it wouldn't get too mushy when it made its way to the table. "There . . . " she breathed out, removing some of the sweat from her forehead with her arm, careful not to touch her face with her palms, holding the large bowl with her free hand. "Now let's see . . " she said, turning her head from left to right in search of something after she set the bowl down on the counter, "Now to taste . . . " Anne then again made her way to the dining table and picked up a toothpick from a flower-decorated box, afterward making her way back to the bowl, pining a small potato with it and plopping it into her mouth, examining the taste. Not half-bad. It was done.
Now that the dish was finished, Anne took off the apron and carefully folded it on the table. Then, she made her way to the plate racket right next to the sink on the other side and distributed the plates, just four of them, on the dining table, rushing around. At this point, there really was no need for the clip, she was moving quickly enough that her hair wouldn't get the chance to even touch her face. The clip looked as if it was flying with the hair, the little cherries on the end shining as the light reflected off of them. And so, after putting all of the pots in the sink, which she noticed was of a higher quality than most that she's worked with, Anne then took the large bowl with the Blue Cheese And Potato Salad and served it to the 4 plates that she set out, stuffing a large serving spoon inside and placing the bowl right smack in the middle of the table once she distributed some of it evenly. That would be for when anyone wanted seconds. "Please enjoy . . " she said before rushing right back in the kitchen to wash the pots, turning the water on carefully since she didn't want to wet her clothes. It was then, when the water touched her right hand that Anne noticed that she had given herself a cut, wincing at the pain brought out from the contact. The cut was located on her ring finger, probably from dicing the potatoes. Her bright blue eyes stared at it for a moment before a droplet of water was found on her cheeks, Anne lowering the power of the water and slowly washing the pots and cooking utensils with her hands.
Anne would eat later, she was much too busy, and I guess cooking the meal made her full. All she knew that she would eat since she was so skinny, almost anorexic it seems. If she didn't eat, Anne knew that she would pass out at school from lack of iron or something.
{ Out Of Love : Lol. XD Well, I do need to work on posting my next char. I kinda hurried. Plus my Project. }
Amy smirked at his remark. "Well, I didn't expect you to invite me in~ Hah." She walked in the kitchen and sat across from him; she didn't feel comfortable to sit by other people yet. When she was done eating, she would probably thank the girl, and go right to sleep. Amy was so tired; she had only gotten five hours of sleep last night. She yawned, covering her mouth. Amy glanced at the girl with a lazy look. "Hey, what's your name? I didn't catch your name, since I was reading. I like to ignore people when I'm reading," she said rudely. She didn't exactly mean it; she didn't want to talk to people when she's reading. It makes her lose concentration. But since she's sarcastic, she couldn't help it.
The girl had served the potato salad, and Amy looked at it with mild surprise. It looked vibrant and colorful, so she decided to see how it tastes. She stood up, and grabbed a clean fork that was nearest to her, and sat back down on her seat. Poking one of the potatoes with the fork, she plopped it in her mouth. Amy's eyes slightly widened, but regained her composure. It was delicious. "Well, you certainly can cook. It's delicious~ I can't even cook at all, though. It looked like someone had placed rotten eggs on it intentionally." It was the best way Amy can explain it; her cooking was that terrible. She continued to eat the potatoes, munching on it.
Looking around, Amy noticed that the boy with bunny ears wasn't here. He was trying to find his way to the bedrooms, it seemed. "Hey, boy with bunny ears," Amy called, grinning slightly. "There's food, if you're not busy enough to look for the bedrooms."
(O.O.C. : o: So fast! I take half an hour to eat a meal. xD) )

Donnie felt almost offended that Amy hadn't sat next to him and biting his bottom lip he wondered if he had frightened her at all. She would just have to get used to it, they all were going to be living together after all, the faster the better. He took this time to look closer at her and try to figure her out in a way. It was as if she was just trying to hard to open up to everyone that was now trying to befriend her. If she didn't want to talk she could have just said so, it was only the first night and no one really knew each other yet. She could have also just excused herself and gone to her room to sleep the night away and interact with everyone tomorrow. Donnie hadn't realized it, but he was staring at her from across the table, thinking to himself. Amy was like one of those girls you would avoid in the hallways, because of fear that they would reject your greeting. It wasn't because she looked mean or cold, but just because it looked like she could snap you in half if she wanted to, all while being this petite looking girl.
Escaping from his own thoughts, Donnie sat up and looked towards the kitchen to judge Candy on her cooking. Maybe if she was good enough they could make something together, bake a cake for the dorm or make dinner each night for everyone, since Amy said she was no good at cooking and as for Liam, Donnie just thought he'd be no good because he was so short that he wouldn't even be able to reach anything. Candie's height wasn't that tall, but she made it work for herself. The closer she got to finishing the meal the more excited Donnie got. It was like watching your child in a competition and wanting them to win. He was actually hoping that Candy would be good at cooking.
Then finally when it was finished, she placed everyone's plate down and spooned them some of the perfect looking salad. He quickly took a bite from his and smiled as he chewed and swallowed it. "I take whatever I said back, this is great." He complimented her, then continued to eat til he finished. Then he picked up his plate and walked into the kitchen, stood beside Candy and placed his plate in the sink. From the corner of his eye he could see a few tears dripping down her cheek. "Candy, is something wrong?" Donnie asked before spotting the cut she had obtained on her finger. Nodding his head, he turned off the water that she was washing the dishes off and told her to wait there for a moment. Then the tall male walked off to find the bathroom, which was down the hall. He searched for a first aid kit and found it right next to the sink. He took out the smallest sized band aid and returned to the kitchen, taking Candy's hand and putting on the cut. Blowing a piece of hair out of his face, he smiled. "There, that should help. Thank you for the meal." Donnie let go of her hand and went back to the table.
This was one of those special moments when Donnie decided to be a nice person, even if he didn't realize it. It wouldn't last for long though. Before you knew it, he would be back to himself and doing something to irritate one of the girls.

Amy looked at Donnie, her eyes dancing. "Nice of you, for an obnoxious person. Oh, and why were you staring at me? It isn't like I'm going to kill you. Well, unless you piss me off," she said, shrugging, continuing to eat the potato salad. After she was done eating the potato salad, she had dropped it in the sink, and gingerly grabbed the sponge. "I'll help, because you got a cut, no? Actually, just rest up. I'll do it all by myself~" Amy had grabbed a random dish and started scrubbing it carefully, making sure she didn't miss any spots. Washing the dish full of foam, she set it one of the counters to let it dry. After washing all the dishes carefully, she had grabbed a clean dry rag and wiped off all the water on the dishes. She had put the dishes in the cabinets, and the utensils in the drawers.
Amy had yawned again. "I'm so tired.. Thanks for the meal~ I appreciate it, since I can't cook. If it hadn't been for you, I wouldn't be planning to eat." She flashed a grin. "Hmm.. Maybe I should crash in the couch like this guy did." She was definitely not going to do that, though. Amy didn't like using the couch to sleep, because it was usually uncomfortable.

Anne was still washing the dishes, and she felt something cold and wet slide down her cheek, yet she ignored it, thinking that it was just the water from the sink. She looked down and noticed that her shirt didn't get wet at least, and then started to think that the water was just aiming for her face. Occasionally, Anne would have to stop to roll her sleeves up, and she soon learned that when washing dishes, she should at least wear something that isn't so big on her. Maybe it was because she was too skinny, but hey, it was a pain having to watch out for water. Sometimes she couldn't help but scoff when she pulled them up, as another feeling of a cold water droplet rolled down her cheeks. Ugh. What was this? She had to think of something else, and soon looked up and tilted her head to the side at them when Amy had asked for her name. "I understand." she answered, turning her head back to the sink, the reply directed at being so sucked into the book that she would ignore everything else around her. "I know how you feel,"Anne continued, trying to keep her face from forming a frown, "I'm Anne . . " She said it loud enough for the others to hear, although she didn't turn her head to them when she said it, for she was focused on not making the cut in her hand throb.
Then the compliments started to roll in. First it was Amy, who said that it was delicious, telling Anne that she couldn't cook, making Anne remember her times when she didn't know a thing about cooking. If she was given with a peeler and a potato back then, she would have probably peeled the potato to death, not knowing where the skin was. That was how bad she started out before. Maybe if Anne gave Amy a few lessons, she would learn as well, it would be fun . . . .but then again, she can't. Anne was afraid of the thing inside of her, and soon she noticed that the seal started to throb. The pain was small, but it was gradually growing. Maybe this happened because she was tired, that could be one of the reasons. Her bright blue eyes started to dim and her face turned paler than it was. Luckily she was able to hear Donnie's compliments. and afterward, she knew that she had to thank them. That was the proper thing to do. "I'm glad you like it . . ." she said, hoping that she didn't sound too weak, "I'm sorry if there are minor flaws . . ." There were only a few more utensils left to wash, but Anne didn't think she would have enough strength to eat. Probably enough strength to plop herself on the bed and sleep, but not eat.
Anne didn't notice that they all finished, for her attention was being cut in half. One half being directed at the pain of the seal, one half being directed at the dishes. It was then cut in thirds only when Donnie came over to put his plate down, seeing him from the corner of her twinkling blue eyes. "Oh yes . . please set it down there---" she said as she looked up to face him. What confused Anne was when he had asked her what was wrong. What was wrong? Did something happen? Did some of the pain show on her face? That's not good. His eyes then were cast on her cut that was on her ring finger, which Anne followed, trailing behind. "Oh that's no--" She was then interrupted by him going to the bathroom. It wasn't such a big deal . . . .I guess. The cut wasn't. It was only the pain of the seal that bugged her. More than bugged, her. But Anne guessed when he came back with the first aid kit, that he didn't know that.
Donnie then took Anne's hand suddenly, surprising her since no one had ever done that for a long time, seeing how she distanced herself from the other people. Anne couldn't even remember when her "parents" did that, since usually Anne would administer her own injuries when she was alone. "I'm sorry for troubling you . . " she apologized as she looked down, feeling a band-aid on her finger and her hair not falling on her face this time because of the clip. What made him notice though, she thought? Ah! The droplets she felt must not have been water from the sink, it must have been water from her eyes she realized when one fell down from her cheek. How strange, Anne crying? At least she didn't blush while she did, she kept her indifferent face on."Thank you very much." she thanked before he walked away, allowing Anne to keep washing the utensils and now a dish.
It was then when Amy came that Anne couldn't focus again, since she wanted to help. She guessed that that was for the best, seeing as though the seal on her chest was throbbing like there was no tomorrow. "Thank you to you too as well. . . "she said, counting how many thanks she had to give this one night alone, plopping herself down on a stool that was located to the side of the cupboard to the end, "I can't leave you here . .I'll clean up the room before sleeping, you should rest . ." Anne removed the clip from her hair, letting her bangs fall down in front of her eyes again. When Amy finished, Anne pushed her to the door of the room she thought that Amy slept in, hoping that they wouldn't have to trouble themselves with her.
Donnie hadn't sat back down at the table after helping Candy, or now known as Anne. He just stood there not really knowing what to do with himself. It wasn't the best idea because he got bored easily, but there was nothing to do but go to bed and didn't feel like going to sleep just yet. He took in Amy's comment and question, finding her sarcastic and blunt. "Yea, well don't get used to it." He folded his arms across his chest and tried to find an answer to her question. "I dunno, maybe I have a thing for weird girls." Donnie stuck his tongue out in a childish manner and then watched Amy go to the kitchen to also help Candy. Boy she got on his nerves so far. He could tell this was going to be a long school year.
He began to laugh to himself when he found Candy pushing Amy out of the kitchen towards the rooms, for such a small girl she was strong. She reminded him of one of the girls he had played with in elementary school. They would always play with the fake kitchen set, making a pretend restaurant for the other kids to order food. He would always be the cook and she would be the waitress. The perfect pair. Sadly, they had grown apart when Donnie had troubles later on in life and he never heard of her again. "You're strange." He said out of no where, his arms still across his chest.

"This isn't my room," Amy pointed out. She turned around, and started to go back to the living room. She sat back down on the couch and sighed happily. The wooden chair wasn't comfortable back in the kitchen; she had to shift around often. Reaching out for her book from the coffee table, she had started to read again. If there was nothing interesting in this book, Amy was definitely going to rip it apart. She once had read a book with no plot, and she had literally ripped the book cover and ruined the pages after she realized that there was no point of finishing it. Well, it was well worth it because it wasn't hers, and she didn't care if she had to pay a fine. The borrowed book was used, and most of pages were folded, or ripped, even. Amy, not focused, gave up on reading the book, because she just ate and was dead tired. She threw the book back to the coffee table, landing neatly, to her surprise.
Amy stared blankly, not knowing what to do. Maybe she should crash and sleep in one of the bedrooms. That sounded tempting, but somehow, she didn't want to sleep just yet. What should she do, exactly?
--------------AN N E - - - - - - -RI C H M O N D --------------━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ -------------------FEA Ris your enemy. -------------------IT lays waste on yourconsciousness. ------------------------SO - - - - - ES C A P E ! ! ! --------------━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Anne sighed when she realized that she had pushed Amy to the wrong room, and like adding salt to the wound, Donnie called her strange. "I'm so sorry . . ." she apologized to both Donnie and Amy as she leaned against the wall, realizing that she should probably start cleaning and fixing the things that were out of place. Her bright blue eyes darted around at Amy and at Donnie, who seemed to be getting along well. She knew that the more they argued, the more they got along. She wondered how those kinds of friendships last, before she found that she was staring at both of them so intently. Anne then cast her eyes to the side, putting her hands behind her back like she should, like a polite little girl should. They all seemed bored, well, Amy seemed to enjoy reading her book, unless there wasn't a plot and Donnie seemed as though he was looking for something to do. Anne even found herself feeling bored, although the seal was still hurting her even more now. But then, the pain was still easy to handle, she had gone through worse anyway.
Yet that comment 'strange' seem to ring in her ears as she looked at both of them. It was an old word that she hasn't heard in a long time. It was almost nostalgic, and she almost missed it, how funny. Anne could remember when she was young and how people would comment on her pink hair and blue eyes that were so large. Anne could remember when little boys would try pulling her hair just so they could feel it, which annoyed her back then, reason being that she cut it. Anne could remember the smile on her parents' face when they told her that being unique or strange was good. But to Anne, strange was not good, it ended up being bad that one day. And before her mind could try trailing itself back to the memory, Anne shook her head and rubbed her temples, closing her eyes and then opening them again, noticing how hard it was to keep them open.
Did they not realize that school was tomorrow? Anne didn't want to admit it since the silence between them three was so beautiful, although heavy as Anne cast her blue eyes down on the floor, feeling a chill for some odd reason . . . . Why . . ? The doors were closed . . . AAAAH! THE WINDOW! She looked up abruptly to find that cold air was going inside through there and started to run toward the "open hole on the wall" before tripping on her own suitcase face down onto the soft carpet. Luckily it was carpet and not wood. "Ouuch . . "she thought as she sat up, rubbing her head and tucking locks of pink hair behind her ear with one of her eyes closed and one open. Hopefully they didn't fawn over her like she was a child. They had worried about her too much for one night, this wasn't usual. To make sure that didn't happen, Anne stood up quick and then ran toward the window, pulling the curtains over it after closing the glass. How many times has this happened? Jeez, she's hurt herself more than she could tolerate, maybe she should be more careful. "Hmmmm . . you should be careful~" a voice in her head spoke, surprising Anne as she lifted her hand from the cloth that made up the curtain.
Oh no. She would have to see that person again. The voice did startle Anne on the inside, but she didn't show it on the outside. On the outside, Anne just sighed in relief and then made her way to one of the arm chairs, plopping herself on it and relaxing, forcing herself not to close her eyes. She didn't feel too tired, but she did feel tired. That was just confusing huh . . ? Anne only waited for them to go to sleep before she did, hoping that when they left, she could check on the seal. Her bright blue eyes continued to examine the two as her mind drifted off in thought of what she could do to stay away from that person. Maybe . . just maybe . . if she doesn't fall asleep, she wouldn't have the unfortunate experience of seeing that person again, maybe if she kept awake, Anne wouldn't have to be haunted by that memory. This was a good excuse to break the gorgeous silence that had been going on for a while now after she tripped.
"Umm . . " she started, shaking off her shoes and placing them neatly to the side with her delicate hand that had the band-aid on, "What would you all like to do now?" Anne had no idea, everything seemed boring now that everyone was stuffed and pleased. She cast her blue eyes on the clock and saw that they REALLY should get to sleep or they would be sleeping like logs during class. Anne could imagine it, seeing both Amy, Donnie, and Liam that way, although her too, that would be horrible. Hoping to help, Anne remembered that she had some games in her luggage as she pulled her legs close to her, on the cushion of the chair, and wondered if they were any fun enough to play with. She didn't know which she brought with her, but she knew that chess was one of them, a game one of her friends truly enjoyed before she had to go . . . No . .they wouldn't want to play a game as boring as that . . they didn't seem the type . . right?

Donnie didn't like the odd silence that spread throughout the room, it made everything awkward and un enjoyable. He looked over at the clock that sat on the wall, it was pretty late...but he didn't want to go to bed when everyone else wasn't, maybe it would be for the best? He was never his nicest when he was tired. It woke him up when Candy had fallen to the floor, making him suddenly want to go to her rescue. She got herself up quickly though and shut the window that she said she would before, she had probably forgotten.
The male yawned and stretched his arms behind his head, almost reaching his limit for the night. "Well ladies, I think i'm done for tonight." He decided, walking over to the entrance of the hallway and stopping, "Night Candy, watch yourself will you?" He asked, just to make sure she didn't have any more accidents tonight. Donnie then looked at Amy, his eyes almost closed, "Night, black widow." He smirked, finding a new nickname for her. He walked down the hallway to the last room, his room, walked inside and closed the door behind him. Ahh yes, now he could finally relax.
Donnie quickly pulled his shirt over his head and threw it in a corner of the room, changing into a pair of boxers and taking the suit cases off from his bed. He looked behind him to make sure no one was looking, then opened one of the small suitcases, taking out a white kitten plushie. IT WAS SO FLUFFY. It was something he couldn't sleep without. He had it ever since he turned four, and on that day he had named it snowball. Finally he could go to bed and get sleep for tomorrows big school day.

Amy shrugged, and started to stand up, stretching her arms. "Well, I'm going to bed. Night, Anne," she said, waving at her. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow, if we have any classes~" She started to look for her bedroom, frowning. Where was it again? After ten minutes of walking, she found a white coloured door, with intricate designs. She wasn't sure if it was her room... Amy opened it, and found Donnie sleeping.. with a cat plush? That was strange...for a man. Closing the door immediately, she went back to searching for her room. She finally found it after going around in circles, and went inside, shutting the door behind her. Amy changed into her night clothes; dark and gothic, and crashed in bed. Today was a tiring day, and she hoped she got enough sleep for tomorrow.
Amy also hoped that Donnie didn't notice that she went into his room, and found him with the white cat plush. If so, Donnie would probably murder Amy when she wakes up.

Slowly, everyone started to disappear to their rooms. Anne's blue eyes trailed to Donnie, who said he was done for the night. He did seem too tired to stand, she saw his face before she tripped. Well, I guess she would have the chance to check on her seal at least. Anne looked down after he said that, down at her feet which were covered with long black stockings. They never gt dirty, even though she had fallen a few times on the trail. Such a pure yet impure color. Or is it just so impure because it can't get any darker? Her mind was running through some pretty pointless things before she heard someone speak. "Night Candy, watch yourself will you?" were words that made Anne look up, her bangs falling on her face once again. No one had ever said good night to her. Why were these strange things happening now . . . ? Oh no . . were they getting closer? That's not good . . . In a way it is, it made Anne feel warm inside but in another way, it filled fear inside her heart. She was afraid that she would hurt these people who were getting closer to her. She tried saying good night back, her mouth opening in a silent O, but it seemed that he had already gone into his room. . . Why did she hesitate? Ah, that's right . . .She can't . . .She's never said those words before.
Then it was Amy, who said that she would be going to bed too. Anne wondered if she should say good night to her, but when she tried to open her mouth again, Anne couldn't say the words. They sounded so easy to mouth out, but she was never able to because she never did before. Maybe as a child she said it, but after the incident, any form of greeting, it just soon disappeared from her vocabulary. Anne's eyes followed Amy, who seemed to have opened the wrong door, which almost made Anne giggle. She knew it was Donnie's since she had seen him go inside, tonight she would memorize where everyone's room was, so that she could easily push everyone inside. Seeing Amy do that, it was those small simple mistakes that she took pleasure in he noticed, and then when Amy soon disappeared to her room, Anne knew that she was alone now. Liam she saw had also gone to his room after dinner, and soon the it was just her and the luggage. Oh that's right! Blowing some more hair from her face, Anne jumped off the armchair and plopped herself next to her bag, unzipping it slowly as if she was going to wake someone up, taking out another small case which held something very dear to her: her camera.
The silence was just wonderful. It didn't have any tension, it was just normal silence. She held the camera carefully with both hands, her delicate fingers tracing the buttons and her eyes examining it, making sure that nothing was broken. It was an old camera, it was bulky and it was large. But she loved it all the same. It was of a high quality, and the flash worked well for when it was dark. This little machine was the only object that could bring a small smile on Anne's face, since it documented everything, and as she plopped herself down on the couch, she turned it on, scrolling through all the pictures that she had taken. Oh, that's right, There was only a few because she had changed the memory. Anne was one who loved to keep memories. She felt as if memories were the embodiment of a person when they had passed, and she knew that first hand. Her first camera memory storage thing had memories of her parents and her old friends, the one that she kept in a small box in her luggage.
Yes, she saw as she scrolled through the images, her hometown, the trees that bloomed cherry blossoms, but there was one thing that her camera didn't capture: the people whom she was with there. There was no one she took, it was just nature and the homes and little foods that she knew she would miss. Hey, there was even one with her cooking, probably taken by the timer. Ah, the sight of the beaten walls and the dirty white counters. She was cooking fish fillet, for she could she the small shape of the fish. Anne noticed the pictures seemed lonely, like she was. The people she cared for were only stored in her mind. Her blue eyes took in the scenery so far away from her now, as if it was there next to her, as if she wasn't in the living room portion of the dorm. Her eyes struggled to stay open, and before she knew it, with the strap wrapped around her hand, Anne fell on the couch, her head hitting one of the pillows, her blue eyes slowly closing. She was facing the dining room, her legs were dangling, since she was small enough for them to dangle on in the air, almost touching the couch. Anne couldn't keep them open anymore, she couldn't fight.
For some reason, even though she had heard the voice, the dream wasn't how she expected. Anne was dreaming that she was sitting under one of the cherry blossoms, documenting everything with her camera. The wind was keeping her hair from falling on her face, it slowly passing by during small intervals of time. The sun was beating down on her, although the tree itself kept that from happening. She was under the shade, the wondrous shade that kept her skin a milky color. Her blue eyes were looking off to the distance where she saw everyone she cared for smiling and happy, just how she wanted them to be. Her "parents" were dancing with each other under another cherry blossom, and her friends were playing tag next to them, only without her. She had kept the distance, and she was happy with that since they were still alive. Their happy faces were all she needed, there was no need for Anne to feel happiness. She didn't deserve to.
