"You can't tell your wishes!" Amphi chided the flame demoness, "otherwise they won't come true!" She looked over at Andrew, "Also it's best not to wish about Red coming back to life...Apparently she already is!" That didn't make even a little of sense, and about 0 to Andrew.
"Maybe I'll wish something for Roch!" Like a little wish or something. She of course didn't mind that Danny was close to Andrew, content with the piggy back ride because Danny was so strong and pretty and such a good friend.

"Danny!" Ugh! "Don't touch me does not mean: come closer." he started to grumble to himself, flame burning with what could only be agitation. "And who is is Red?" did he even want to know? He didn't have a wish in mind yet. Money? Naw he was throwing that into the well, not taking it out. One did have to be careful about wishes though. One never knew which ones might come true.

Danny shot Amphi a glare. Talking about Red made her incredibly uncomfortable, and best friends didn't make best friends uncomfortable!
"Oh! Right! No telling, no telling. I forgot." As if she'd ruined her wish! Good thing Amphi saved her. At Andrew's prompt, Danny cackled and knocked into him, probably with too much force. "Oops."

Amphi felt her OTP's uncomfortableness and held her finger up to shush Andrew. "Don't worry about it hun, I'll tell you some other day." She leaned down and hugged Danny instead. "Are you going to wish something for Rikki!??!" Rikki or Roch talk always distracted her OTP.
"That's right, you can't tell us details!" The mermaid squealed when Danny suddenly veered and held on for dear life. Knocking into Andrew. "I'm sorry Andrew! She's gone wild!!" The mermaid laughed childishly.

Later worked for him. He nodded at the mermaid and spaced off talk about boyfriends. How boring. Ghouls. Danny might look like a ghoul, but she felt like a bus. Andrew was knocked to his butt. “Owe.” His lip pulled into a pout, and he tried to stop his shoulders from shaking. “What are you? Half dragon?” Wild was right.

A hand was stuck out to help Andrew up. Yes, help him up even with Amphi on her back. Yes.
"No ... I'm a flame demon juts like you ..." Danny answered, confused by Andrew's question. She didn't feel like a dragon. "Why do I got bigger wings or something? Oh no what if I'm turning into a dragon?!"

"Are you a dragon Danny?!!?!??" OMJACK WAS AMPHI ON THE BACK OF A DRAGON TO BE?!?! The last time she had ridden with a dragon, it had been on the back of the celestial dragon student Sheridan, and he could fly REALLY HIGH.
"Do you not wanna be a dragon Danny??" They could turn her back if she DID turn into a dragon right?
"Andrew we can turn her back if she's changing forms right!?!?"

“Yes, they changed color too.” He didn’t take the hand, electing to pull himself to his feet. “they look redder then before. Oh Danny, is that a spike on your nose?” he wondered how far he could take it. She did seem… rather gullible. Then again, he had seen Draven turn into a snake earlier. With no ill effects. Even the mermaid was falling for it. His tail flickered and he did his best to keep a straight face. “I don’t know, it might be incurable.” he covered his face and snorted. Deep breath calm… Their faces. He turned away shoulders shaking in silent laughter.

Absolutely panicked, Danny screamed, "WE GOTTA GET TO THE WELL, STAT." Clearly the only way to cure her dragonitis was to get a wish granted!
IT WAS THE ONLY WAY.
So Danny took off (with Amphi) at breakneck speed for the tiny stone well.

"AH DANNY WAI.....WAIT...." The mermaid had to hold on for dear life because oh jack, what was even....
They had totally left Andrew in the dust. She looked over Danny though, were her wings really a different color!?!? They looked the same...she looked the same...
MAYBE HER EYES WERE RUINED OR SOMETHING. Maybe the tracker in her body finally took over and was ruining her from the inside out.

Make a lot of wishes? Those two… were seriously gullible. He took a moment to laugh to himself tail burning and then realized he might lose them. Naw, he could catch up. Taking a running start he vaulted up into the air. He could be faster when he didn’t have to follow the path… though Danny still left him in the dust. He just took the short cut around and landed near them once they got to the well. If Danny had bothered to look, she would see her nose was fine.

Danny was surprised to find her cousin keeping up with her, but was much too concerned with her dragonitis.
"Amphi you gotta wish really hard. I can't wish or it won't work!!" Where she picked up that debunct knowledge was anyone's guess.
And of course she didn't look to see her reflection. That'd be too smart.

"Oh...OKAY I WILL WISH REALLY REALLY HARD." She clambered off the demon's back and went over to the well, peering over it. Then she pulled a whole pouch of silver seeds and took a handful out.
And let them drop into the well.
Her eyes squeezed shut really hard as she started to mumble her wish.
"Is it working!?!?" The answer would obviously need to come from Andrew.

"Eh? Yeah it's working. You look fine now Danny." he chuckled and decided not to inform them that there was never a problem to begin with. It wouldn't hurt. He walked closer and started down into the well. "Looks like it really does grant wishes." he of course was still skeptical.

Danny let out a heavy sigh of relief and let Amphi down, leaning on her heavily. "Oh gosh good. I was almost a dragon! But your guys' wishes saved me!! YAY!!"
She gave them both a dopey smile and dropped her entire bag of seeds in. To the well, she said, "That's for both me AND Andrew, okay?" She paused as though the well was responding, and then said, "Good."
Her hands clasped together tightly and she thought her wish really, really hard. Out of the well popped a minipet, smacking Amphi in the face with pure excitement. "IT WORKED!!!" she exclaimed happily. Her wish came trueeeeeee.
