Ariel was left pouting in Zephyr's arms. She thought it were unfair to ruin her fun when she wasn't in danger or at least she thought that she wasn't in any. "No fun and so shellfish," she whispered as she looked away while puffing up her cheeks. This guy was uptight and seemed like he stuck to the rules so much or at least that's what Ariel thought. She almost didn't like it yet when she looked back at him her heart fluttered and made her look away with a blush. He really caused a lot of confusion and a battle field in her mind. "Stupid buoys."

"It's not selfish if I'm doing something to protect you. If you're standing or crouching on my back, you not only risk me losing my height but falling off as well. Now, if we were above a deep enough body of water I'd allow it seeing as you seem to be of the water variety..but we were above solid ground and I don't think you can land gracefully on that." The dragon stated calmly as he turned back to flying right-side-up, though now he was a bit lower to the ground and they were right above a lake, which he dropped the girl into promptly.

Ariel wasn't given a chance to reply as she dropped towards the water. She grew her gills and fish tail right before landing in the water. Only her head came popping out as she looked to Zephyr and stuck out her tongue. "You're a reely mean buoy. I wasn't going to fall. I was so safe. You just wanted to krill my fun is all. I eel bad for the gill that end up with a doofish like you who ruined my dress," she shouted to the dragon up in the sky before swimming back to shore.
Once on land she had a bit of trouble making her tail and gills fully disappear until she had to deal with her wet clothes. "Ugh that doofish." She made a few sounds before undressing, leaving only her underwear on. The walk back to the school wouldn't be a good one but she had no choice as she began to walk, every few moments looking back to Zephyr.

The dragon chuckled, soon perching in a tree and watching the girl walk back to the buildings that made up the Academy, which wasn't that far of a walk. Hopefully he didn't hurt her or piss her off too much seeing as he had quite enjoyed messing with her - it was something a lot of the other metas seemed scared to do around him. Though he couldn't blame them, he was rather large and strong, so there was always a chance accidentally hurting someone.

Ariel grumbled as she continued to walk not caring or paying attention that people were staring and talking about her not wearing her clothes. She hated the dragon boy yet not as much as Sha. There was something else there. It was kinda how she felt about the large angry like character in her game with the huge gun. She thought about it more and more, just confusing her the more she thought about it. How she wished she had someone to talk about this with like a female friend like in the shows. Her pout came back as she was just about to enter the school but she stopped as she looked back one more. Standing there still she knew the boy was watching her so she stuck out her tongue like a little kid before going inside.

Zephyr chuckled a little, waiting a couple minutes to head to the dorms, gliding towards it before landing and opening the door. Once inside, he went to the front desk to ask the guardian who the girl was. When he got an answer, the dragon walked off, writing a note along the way, before placing it under the slit of Ariels door and then walking back off.
The note read;
'Ariel,
I had fun today, something I don't have much of. It'd be nice to hang with you some more.
- Zephyr.'

Ariel had finally arrived to her room after having to hang her dress to dry and digging through the lost and found for clothes which she ended up with a large sweater. Opening the door to her room she didn't notice the letter until it stuck to her foot. Removing it and reading it she blushed as she puffed up her cheeks. "Whale I guess he isn't so bad but he's still a doofish." She crushed the paper as was moments before throwing it away before she stopped. It seemed she couldn't do it so instead she placed it on her desk still crushed. Sitting on her bed she looked over at it as a smile slowly began to form. "I had a splashing time too," she whispered before falling onto her bed and giggling.

The dragon decided to walk off, heading through the dorms to his own room, though as he got to the door, he found that they seemed to finally start working on making it suitable for larger set students, so that barred him from entering his own room. Sighing, he eyed the currently blocked door and walked down the steps and through the main doors, wandering through the grounds and towards a cleared area to meditate.

After some time of having a giggle fit she had decided on going back to the lost and found box to find something more suiting. As she did she saw the familiar dragon boy. Hiding at first she looked back to seeing him go somewhere new. Curious, she followed him as she tried her best to be as sneaky as possible or at least she thought she was doing well.

Zephyr had found a lone bolder in an open area and he had perched on it, his tail hanging down and around the rock and his wings stretched out to feel the slight wind that was dancing through the area as his bright orange eyes were closed. Taking a deep breath, he let it out and tried to relax, his wings slowly lowering before they flinched upwards as he let out an odd sound, his eyes snapping open as he looked around him, mostly focusing on the right hand side of his body, soon staring at a spot that seemed darker than most of the ground around it. The dragon stared at it as if it were doing something before he managed to calm himself down, returning to his original position and trying to go back to meditating.

Ariel's heart was beating like crazy with thinking that she has been caught but it seemed as if she had passed. Covering her mouth she sighed in relief before she hid herself behind some bushes. Popping her head up she watched as the dragon meditating and wondered how he could stay still in just one spot. She continued to watch slowly noticing some of his features. The girl gave a small sigh as she was completely memorized by the boy. The urge to go over and sit next to him was too much to take but she refused to give into temptation.

The dragon took in another deep breath and slowly let it out, his body relaxing and his mind as well. Soon enough he was still as a leaf and the only movement was that of his chest contracting and expanding as he breathed and the rustle of his hair and wings as the wind continued to blow. Sure, most of his age would find meditating boring and not useful, but for him it was something to clear his mind and delve deeper into things he needed to figure out.
A couple minutes passed before he slid off the rock and got on all fours, one hand over his mouth as he started to retch, a thick, black, bloodlike substance leaking through his fingers as he knelt there, coughing violently before finally calming down, though he seemed shaken.

All the while that she watched she was in a sweet daze until she saw Zephyr on all fours looking like he was coughing up blood. She hesitated a few times before she decided it would be best to go check on him. With her hand on his back she patted him softly. "Are you ok?" Eyebrows frown as she tried to see what was wrong. Not one idea she had for trying to help him. Hope she wish she could use her natural cure to help but she couldn't.

He was still shaking when Ariel started gently patting his back, but the physical contact got his shaking to stop being as violent as it had been. Coughing a few more times, he finally sat down and looked at the black blood in his hand and on the ground, sighing. "I'm.. not sure." Zephyr murmured, not paying attention to who was talking to him, but right then he didn't care, "Sorry you had to see that - it happens from time to time." he said quickly, wiping the blood on his hand to his shorts before standing up with a slight wobble. It took him a couple seconds to regain his balance, but when he did he covered the blood on the ground with dirt before looking at Ariel.
Staring at her, it looked like he was having trouble focusing on her for a bit, though when he did focus he blinked several times and just awkwardly stared.

Ariel knew that even if the boy said he was ok she knew that he wasn't. Who coughs up blood and thinks it's normal? Standing on her own two feel and dusting herself off she proceeded to look at Zephyr with a mas look, placing he hands on her hips. "No you are not 'whale'. That's all cullshit, you big doofish. You're probably reely sick and need to see a doctor for kelp." This time Ariel didn't hesitate, taking the boy by the hand and trying to force him back to the school to get looked at by a nurse. It did prove hard to do since she was so small and he was so large and heavy but that wasn't going to stop her from trying.
