 Finally, the voice stopped, stepping out of the stalks and crossing his covered arms. The young man pouted, his eyes unseen and covered by hair. "Aww, Puppy doesn't remember his Resin! How sad! All the fun we had...wasted.""Resin?" she repeated, furrowing her eyebrows and keeping her fearfilled eyes on the mysterious man. "Toto...who is he?""We are Resin, the Scarecrow!" announced the man loudly, giggling as crows all around him flew off into the sky. "See? We scare crows! We scared Puppy once. Doesn't Puppy remember? Before Puppy went away and found Kitty?"Dorothy looked up at Trenton, trying to make sense of everything. "I think...I think I'm Kitty."

 Trenton nodded. "Resin... I remember you now.... He's the scarecrow of this field, a vicious killer that lost his mind ages ago." He snarled at the man, remembering the terror he felt when he was a child wandering the field. "We don't want any trouble, Resin, just point us where the Yellow Brick Road is."

"Oh, take Resin with you!" he begged, moving closer and grabbing Dorothy's arm. "We like journeys, oh yes, we do! We never get to go anymore."Dorothy tried to pull her arm out of his tight grip, to no avail. He wouldn't release her. She smiled weakly, holding tighter to Trenton. "S-sorry, n-no room.""Then we won't tell you where Yellow Brick Road or Emerald City is!" He grinned wickedly, gripping her arm tighter. "Yes, we know where you're going. Off to find the Wizard to save you, yes? Resin wants to see Wizard too. We wants to become sane again, so we can be happy. Resin wants his mind back." The malicious grin then disappeared, and Resin pouted his lips. "Please? Resin won't eat Kitty or Puppy. We just wants to be sane again. Resin will eat corn! We can pack as much as we can eats!"Dorothy sighed and looked up at Trenton once more. "What do you think?"

The inu clenched his jaw and glared at Resin, his earls flattening against his head. "I don't think we have much of a choice." he growled before nodding at the psychopath. "Fine, you can come along, but even harm a hair on Dorothy's head and I will end you." he seethed.

Resin immediately released her, pushing her onto Trenton and leaping into the air. "Yay! Resin if going on journey! We so excited!!"Dorothy let out an oomph as she landed on Trenton, her hand splayed on his chest to keep herself steady. With a sweet smile up at him, she nodded. "That was really sweet of you, letting him come with us." Leaning up, she kissed his cheek, then pushed away and walked over to Resin, who immediately handed her the handle to a long black leash that was locked to a collar around his neck. "Resin, what's-""For Kitty to keep crazy Resin under control," he explained, smiling widely at her.Dorothy gripped the handle and smiled. "Why, thank you Resin." Turning back to Trenton, she smiled again. "You ready to go?"

"..Huh?" Trenton blinked and looked back, dropping his hand from his cheek to his side. "Uh, yeah." he grunted and looked away nonchalantly as if nothing had happened. "So where's the road, Resin?" he asked the scarecrow and looked over at him, his stance still ready to pounce and his tail moving slowly behind him.

"Just follow Resin, Kitty!" giggled Resin as he bounded off.Dorothy grabbed Trenton's hand as she was dragged along, holding tight. Even after they reached the road, she still held tight. "Wow, that was fast," she mumbled, petting Resin's head."We did good for Kitty and Puppy, yes?" asked Resin, looking up at Trenton and smiling wildly.

"Quit looking at me." was all Trenton told Resin; he always was creeped out by how the scarecrow could look around easily, almost as if there wasn't a blindfold on his face at all. The inu then turned to Dorothy and pulled his hand out of hers. "Tch, and you were the one calling me a coward." he muttered with a smirk.

"Why? Does Puppy not like Resin?" asked the madman, tilting his head at Trenton."Don't take it personally, Resin," laughed Dorothy, ruffling Resin's hair. "Trenton doesn't much like anyone, not even me.""But...but Puppy likes Kitty!" he said, pouting. "That's why Puppy hates Resin!"Dorothy laughed louder, shaking her head. "You've got everything all wrong! He doesn't like me. He just feels responsible for me, right, Trenton?"

"Quit rambling on about emotions." Trenton snapped at the two. "We're here to find you a way back home, not for counseling!" He glared at Dorothy. "And don't brand me a jerk! You barely know me like this."

The madman giggled, then set his hands on Dorothy shoulders and licked her cheek. "Puppy's jealous that Kitty likes Resin more than Puppy!" he shrieked with laughter, pushing away and laying on the ground. "Kitty likes Resin! Kitty hates Puppy!"Dorothy laughed and wiped her cheek, patting Resin's head. "Come on, Resin, stop kidding around. We've got to get to the Emerald City!"Resin stood back up and nodding, bouncing with excitement. "Let's go! Let's go! Don't be so slow, Puppy!" Handing Dorothy his leash again, he started off, skipping down the road.The girl adjusted her short skirt before walking after Resin, stopping him every now and then. "Hurry up, Trenton!"

Mayah Playah I'll post first. But will Kats join us anytime soon? Trenton growled under his breath, his white ears flattened against his head. As much as he hated to say so, and how dearly he did, he had to admit that Resin was right. He did dislike the fact that Dorothy instantly grew attached to the psychopath when she wouldn't touch him with a five foot pole. Jealousy wasn't the term he liked to use, but it could've very well been it. Resentfully glaring at the pale yellow bricks of the road, the inu trailed after the duo as they went towards the thick forests.
