The offer alone made Aventine's eyes sparkle. "That would be amazing! You have no idea how excited I am—I talked to a girl, and she said she could get me to see a moon, so I'm really looking forward to that. It's kinda scary, but I'm sure she knows what she's doing." She waved her hand nonchalantly and then continued, "If you're offering a trip to Camelot sometime, you know I'd be dying to go—and as soon as I get to mine and figure things out, I'll come pick you up and drag you there!"
She paused, considering it. "…Unless I find some psycho-crazy old man there who just likes to insult me in front of all my guests. But, uh. I guess it's too early to worry about something like that."
She'd have to get to her Wonder first, if not for the personal nature of it, then to make sure it wasn't some pig sty. She might not be able to control where her wonder l, but if she could help it, she wasn't going to invite people she wanted to impress to a complete dump.

Camelot grinned and nodded his head keenly.
"That is a deal, then! We'll trade Wonder trips," he chuckled at the idea. Maybe it would encourage him to go back to his Wonder more often. He really needed to learn about his past, and what he represented. He always felt like he knew, because before he'd ever been powered he had collected Arthurian books and knew the legends so well.
But everything was different now, and nothing was what it had seemed before.
No books mentioned space aliens in King Arthur's court, after all.
"Well, I'm glad we got that settled. Whenever you want to go to Camelot, just find me at the library. It's easiest to go when there's quiet and I'm in a place where I feel the most safe, I suppose. And I think that is the same for everyone. That might be the first place to look, for your own Wonder I mean. Not the library. Ah. Some place that makes you feel calm."

"Oh—that sounds like a good plan!" Aventine seemed to be a little extra bouncy. "I will definitely do that!" She hadn't really any idea of who Camelot was beneath all that armor, but with an aura as strong as his, she didn't think he'd be that hard to track down. She didn't have any problem making her way to the library to seek him out—and even if she wasn't much for libraries, she definitely had a reason to come poking around.
With the internet as it was today, she hadn't been inside doing research in years, but one of these days she might have to poke around and see if any of these dusty old books had anything they could tell her about Aventine. Google had given her a bit, but most of her searches had turned up vacation packages—which was more distracting than she cared to admit.
She waved, grin still plastered on her face. "I'll be getting in contact with you very soon! —Oh, and thanks for the info! I really do appreciate. You've been fabulous, Camelot!"

"You're very welcome! It's always nice to help out a knight as eager as you are. I hope you stay safe and happy until our next meeting." He laughed, nodding his head and meaning every word. She was able to put a spark of excitement in him that he hadn't felt in a while.
Maybe he was getting a little too used to this life.
But really, there were amazing things at their finger tips. He could travel to Camelot, a land lost to time. A land he had been fascinated with since he was a young boy, and had always felt a connection to. He had been given the power to make his own dreams real, and that was incredible. Why did he not take advantage of that more?
It was not all business, all the time. It was not just pain and fighting and defending the innocent. It was that and more, it was being able to learn about and experience magic itself. Visit the past.
He was thankful for her, for reminding him of that.

Aventine grinned at the older male, glad that she'd found a knight who not only knew his stuff but made her comfortable talking about it. "Can do," she promised, smoothing out the front of her outfit. "I'll catch you later, Camelot! Stay safe—and tell me if you ever find out what it was that's making these things feel so dinky!"
She clutched her perfume bottle closely, gave it a final look over, and then shoved it away where she wouldn't have to be bothered by it. "Night!" she waved, spinning on her heels. She seemed in a much better mood, and while the strange nature of her weapon still confounded her, at least she wasn't despairingly worried about it anymore.
If Camelot wasn't freaking out, she wouldn't freak out—and sooner or later everything was going to go back to normal, anyway!

Kyuseisha no Hikari Cute RP was cute. Thank you for it! Camelot needed that <3 Do want to send them to the wonder some time!
It reaffirmed that it was the other knights that kept him going, that gave him strength and taught him things he didn't even know he needed. He smiled. and shook his head. There was no end to what he could learn from his follows in arms.
When she was out of sight he made his way toward his own patrol route, to head back toward the library and then get himself home. He had a pregnant wife to take care of, and couldn't stay out too long these days.
