Three more impacts, the demon of the ring managed to pull out three more bone jarring impacts into Cartwright's back, before his slippery opponent escaped to the outside of the ring. Three backed off slightly, wanting to avoid having his feet pulled out from under him should Cartwright attempt to do so. He'd take a precious moment to locate Cartwright before he would try and slide out of the ring to keep the pressure on his opponent.

(Sorry for the delay, lacerating my finger kinda left me preoccupied.)

Three was expecting an attack, after all Cartwright would have been a fool not to attack Three when he left the ring. But expecting an attack and preventing it are different beasts entirely.Three was caught by the first right hand and it slowed him, the second strike stopped him, forcing Three to live with muddled thoughts as a third caught him. Then a chop, and another sent him staggering back against the apron! Stunned- Three was as Cartwright's mercy!

Crazy idea's where the best; if not the most dangerous. After all, with the cross body coming in; all Three had to do was let his legs fall out from under him and Cartwright would crash harmlessly, (for Three,) right over the demon head. But in this instance it paid off, as Three was shaking his head, and Cartwright wasted no time in preforming his act of daring. The impact was sickening, he crashed into Three bending his back awkwardly over the apron, and having the added bonus of wrenching his neck as his head caught on the bottom rope.

Now Three's legs would give way, letting him slowly slide down the apron, like a jelly doughnut splattered on a cop's window.

Three's eyes were clamped closed; arms reaching behind himself, holding the swollen point of impact from the edge of the apron. He knew he didn't have the luxury of waiting around, and started trying to rise. That's when he noticed Cartwright coming at him for the guardrail. He didn't have time to block the knee, or the mobility to avoid it. His only defense was to minimize the damage, and to do that he turned his head away.

Cartwright's knee blasted the side of Three's head sending a field of white spots through his vision. His head was knocked back into the apron, missing one of the steel supports by inches. He fell back, his torso being swallowed up by the apron; leaving only his legs exposed.

"2... 3..."

The stomps connect with Three's stomach, and possibly his legs if Cartwright had the sense to attack Three's base. But then he stopped, and climbed to safety in the ring.

"6.... 7....."

It seemed like Three was finished, but then his legs slipped under the apron with the rest of him, and Three vanished. The official was confused, slowing his already slow count even farther.

"8........"

Moving to the edge the official searched for any sign of the missing competitor.

"9..........."

He moved about, looking for any sign of Three not really wanting to call the match on a count out. Especially when he couldn't see the competitor. He knew Three was under the ring; but he could be injured. However without a reason to think so; he couldn't stop the count to check on Three.

"10!"

He reached the end and had to call the match. Turning the official ment to notify the time keeper to end the match; but as he reached out to signal a black hand grabbed his wrist.

The Number Three was standing next to the official with a sinister grin on his black lips. With a relieved laugh the official signaled to Cartwright that the match would continue. Three, did not need a signal; and burst forward at full sprint aiming to catch Cartwright up in a high powered spinebuster; that if connected he would mount Cartwright and attempt to unload on his face with as many close fisted strikes as he could manage before the official would pull him off.

Three was pulled off of the official, counting the connected strikes in his head. He'd known he'd have to atone for the assault, and obediantly returned to his corner and complied with the officials warnings. The less time he spent being scolded the less time Cartwright would have to recover from the blitz attack.

But the official was still infuriated with Three's disappearing act; the man took it as a slight against himself. As such he was more than willing to keep Three in his corner, berating the demon for striking with a closed fist.

Finally the official released Three from the corner allowing the match to continue. Three was furious, luckily for him, Cartwright was there to be a conduit for Three's anger. The demon advanced, sprinting across the ring at Cartwright was to obvious, so he approached at a walk. Three noticed the crimson flow he had started; and his scowl grew into a wide grin. When Three was within rang he would try and pull Cartwright into an irish whip.
