" They are good, try one?" AJ picked back another chocolate and handed it to Maple. If he was correct, chocolate has elements that can enchance good mood. Hope it would work for the little witch who just scared by the horrible lines. " Only if you wish, my little lady. We can do it in a funny way if you want." It would be fun acting those lines up, but it might be too much for Maple, considering how red her face was just seeing the lines.

Maple took the chocolate from AJ with a little mumbled of a 'thanks,' gingerly taking it out of the wrapper to place in her mouth. He was right, it was really good and smooth to taste. It was like it was homemade, perhaps the pink lady? And knew exactly what she was doing.
"H-how c-could we d-do them in a f-funny way?" Maple couldn't really fathom the idea, they were terrible lines and she couldn't think how making jest of them could save them in the least. But, AJ seemed like he had an idea, and she felt like she could trust him in it. She'd take his lead on this.

Seeing a tiny smile that might be even the little witch didn't notice, AJ knew the chocolate did work. He smiled while looking at Maple's tasting the chocolate. It reminded him of the Kushi Kushi. That adorable lovely little thing. " Em. We can do it like acting a comedy? It needs not to be serious. Or you can imagine you are saying those lines to a food you like? As if you are going to praise it before you eat it?" He said in a leisure way, really, no pressure. He shrugged and smiled to Maple.

Maple had to admit, as much as she didn't like the idea of having to say the words aloud, AJ's idea wasn't too terrible after all. Somehow turning a negative into a positive, in a sorts; something she tried so hard to do on a daily basis yet never really managed.
"T-that d-doesn't... seem so-" She began to stutter out, only to be cut short from the sound of a bell jingling and the ghoul in pink calling for all their attentions and gathering them back up. Was it fifteen minutes already? Maple wasn't sure if it felt like it had been longer or shorter with how much they did. Nor that she had gotten to know AJ a little more. He was nice, and at least perhaps that's all that mattered.
"Oh.. d-dear, s-she's .. c-calling us b-back," she said with a little dismay in her tone. And maybe a little relief, it hadn't been terrible but there was still a bit of awkwardness. It wasn't at least a complete disaster and there was still a chance to see AJ around school.
"I-it w-was n-nice to see.. y-you again," Maple smiled.

Time passed by quickly, before they could try on those hilarious pick-up lines, Desu came and announced time was up for them. It was a lot of fun chatting with Maple, maybe they could meet again after this festival event? " Me too! It's my pleasure to meet with an adorable little lady like you." He said. " Maybe we can meet again, after this event? If you don't mind exchanging number and dorm number?" He suggested. Spending time with this little witch probably will be much better than wandering around the campus everyday.

"I w-would like th-that," she nodded with a growing smile. And he was thinking of outside the event as well, around campus and perhaps elsewhere. A friend, this was wonderful; and she hoped that this didn't mean something worse was going to happen to after this. Curse her luck.
But, she let that flit off from her mind as she pulled out her skellyphone and rattled off her phone and dorm number. Maple carefully put in his information as he gave it, pleased with the additional entry. It was small, but at least there were more than just emergency contacts.
With a few more parting words, they were off again to enjoy the rest of the festival. Who knew, perhaps they would run into each other again.
