It was hard to wrap her brain around what had happened, but now that she had chosen to accept it, she could just push aside the confused to deal with it later. Right now, she had things to do involving a little ball of fluff and a boy who was confusing and probably bad for her to be around... though that most likely wouldn't stop her in the future.
"O-okay. Sure, I will." She said as she reached for her phone, flipping it open and handing it to him to enter his number. Of course, Orah would probably be too shy to call him, but no sense in not having the number, just in case. There was always the possibility of needing it the in the future.
"I... don't know why, but thank you for the kitten. This is all kind of sudden, but... I'm grateful."
Ever polite, every gift deserved a thank you.

He typed in his number and saved his name as Bad a** McKitten, then handed it back to her. He imagined she wouldn't forget who he was with a title like that in her phone, right?
Right.
"Yeah, don't worry about it." He grinned, then turned and looked like he was going to go back into the mall. "I'll see ya later." He waved over his shoulder at her, but he had no intention of going into the mall, just in case they had realized he was a thief and people were looking for him. He wasn't sure they would put it together, but he wouldn't take the risk.
He would duck out somewhere else when she wasn't looking, and head home to ruminate over his success with a video game.

"Um, Bye." Orah said, juggling the kitten a little to give him a little wave. She watched him head back and disappear around the corner, looking just a little out of it.
Feeling the p***k of claws, the teen was pulled back to the moment and turned to head home. It was a bit of a walk, but no way was she going to call her dad to pick her up this time. And it did give her a little time to get to know the newest member of her family.
