hoshinami Simply Grim hoshinami Simply Grim hoshinami Simply Grim Taking notice of the emptiness of the room, he takes a seat in the back, waiting for this new club to fill up a bit. He'd heard rumors about the club owner being a bit insane. She had an army of owls, he'd heard. Scanning the room once more, he noticed someone standing in the corner with a drink, watching the room with more intent than he.
Her blue skin kept her camouflaged in the shadows quite well, him having to squint. The harder he looked, he swore he could make out an animal of some sort standing on her head. Just as he was to take a sip of his drink, the animal turned it's head to him, enormous yellow eyes shining in the dark of the room.
He was rather excited to see what this was all about.
Smiling to herself, she caught sight of one of the guests watching her. 'Looks like things are getting really interesting.' Her owls were watching from around the room. He seemed to have caught their attention, at least for now. Taking another sip she paused making a slightly disgruntled face, finding the glass empty. 'Seems I am in need of another drink.' Slowly but confidently she strode to the bar to get another. While speaking to the lady he'd just met, he again caught sight of the owl, and the person it stood atop. She seemed to be refilling her drink. He was so curious. He's known of the dark elves for some time now, they were in the news every day for something or other. It was no matter to him their past doings, this particular dark elf is the one that stood out.
Taking a long sip of her new drink she watched two of her customers over in a corner. Her face slowly broke out into a Cheshire grin as if something she saw greatly pleases her. The smile that broke out on her face greatly disturbed him, and made him wonder why she'd be so pleased to see him speaking to another dark elf. He didn't know what to think at the moment. Maybe he was reading this wrong. There's really no way for him to know this is what she's smiling about, really.
'Perfect. Wonderful.' Turning a bit she looked to her bartender leaning over to whisper something to him. A few moments later a waiter and a drink were headed towards this new comer to her club. Reaching the guest, he offered the drink. "for you sir." He stood before the waiter for a few seconds, contemplating the possibilities. He took the drink, and thanked him. When the waiter stayed put, he knew it was expected of him to drink it. Staring into the glass at his reflection, he brought it to his lips. The moment the bright red liquid touched his tongue was a terrifying moment indeed. The waiter seemed satisfied enough. It didn't seem to be poisoned or drugged. Only time would tell.
"Very good, my compliments to the owner of the club", he said with a false smile.
And with that, the waiter was gone.

With a small smirk to herself she took another good sip of her drink before start to move. While this all fun, there were important matters at hand, buisness to attend to and deals to close. She'd have more than enough time for fun and games later. With a pat to something green and fuzzy and round on the bar as she passed it, she headed beyond the doors where the normal everyday club guest stayed.

Now that he couldn't see her, he grew even more nervous. She touched something on the bar, something that he couldn't see. As curious as he was about everything, he felt it better not to question things too quickly. He figured he might as well try to enjoy himself, and wondered if the club provided any entertainment.

Simply Grim Now that he couldn't see her, he grew even more nervous. She touched something on the bar, something that he couldn't see. The club was starting to pick up. A few of the patrons seemed to go through the same doors she had entered before. Several owls remained to keep an eye on the main room and the barkeep was being kept busy. She had remained out of sight of the main floor for a while now.
