The young egg went through a lot. The unborn drakein has no fond memories all except remembering the feeling of the twists, turns, and tumbles in his life as an egg until it felt one day the warmth of someone picking it up; swaddled in blankets and was carried away. All that the unborn little baby could hear is a man's voice talking to someone and felt that he was being given to someone. Perhaps this one will finally have a life instead of it being taken away before it ever has the chance to live his life. For day since then, the egg continued to feel the gentle warmth and was treated ever so delicately and fragile. Soon, it began to taken more awareness of the world beyond the shell and hearing a voice. “Don’t che worry. Eku be takin’ care of ya.” Eku? Was that his parent’s name? It sounds very weird just like the voice. But, he wanted to know who this voice is and the kind of parent he is that it was starting to shake and quiver. Already, he wants to be hatched!
He clawed its way through the shell one day and scratched with all his might. “Oh! Keep on goin’!” The voice spoke which made the little baby growled. He’s trying his best! But then he finally used his head, and quite literally too, and burst through the egg and opened his bright round eyes to see Eku who . . . looks weird. He saw the stitched up of a smile and those hollowed eyes wide open. The first thing that he thought is wondering what kind of drakein he is? “Wow, you be de coolest Keinling Eku be eva seen!” The voodoo boy exclaimed and suddenly hugged the Keinling which frightened him so much that he broke the rest of his shell and his white little wings spread out to keep himself balanced. Already he’s thinking that he might be in trouble being with an idiot. But . . . he smelled good. Really good that it made his little wings flutter.
The young drakein walked out of the mess of broken egg shells and looked up to the Oblivionite and seeing the bright smile on his face. While he seemed to be weird with a funny sounding accent, the boy was nice to him. It did make him feel really happy to be with someone who was nice instead of a bad man. The young drakein felt the tender petting on his head which made him closed his eyes to savor the nice feeling. “Hmm, Eku be callin’ you Vilzun okay? It be Eku and Vilzun fo’ ever now.” Vilzun? Well, he liked the name. He’s even happier to have a name now as he continues to enjoy the petting. Eku’s hand was really nice . . . such a nice hand . . . it smells really nice too. And while Eku is blinded with happiness of having a brand new friend, Vilzun lifts his head up to nuzzles his face against the hand. But suddenly . . .
Chomp!
Vilzun saw the smile vanished on Eku’s face and saw him looking down while he’s happily chewing on the hand. “EHHHH?! VILZUN! WHAT YOU BE DOIN’ TO EKU’S HANDD?!?” That was a stupid question to ask as he merely rolled his eyes and then pulled Eku’s hand off his wrist as the stitches popped loose and ran off with it. “Vilzun! C’mere wit Eku’s hand!” But he didn't as he nests over the broken egg shells around and lies down to hold Eku's hand in his small claws and chews on his hand. He saw the distraught look on the voodoo boy's face followed by a long string of some weird mumbo jumbo he was screaming at him but all that Vilzun could hear is the chewing of the yummy hand. The young drakein knew that he’s going to have an interesting life with his new friend.
