"Less the shoes. Open stalls that have afterthought, waist-high dividers in a military prison shower are more the problem. I don't mind public bathing, really, but I'd want choice of it. " He hated it when he was washing his hair and had to be careful not to elbow some other guy in the face. Correctional schools. At least it made it easy to check out and know that there wasn't really any 'competition' for him in the school. There was just that perpetual trip up that Colin might get bored.

He pushed the insecurities from his mind. They'd been together longer than a year. He was meeting Colin's family. He knew about Aegir. That meant something. There was no point in worrying over what would be with what WAS so pleasantly present. Stepping out of the shower, now washed and dripping, he decided to indulge in some of the mischief he'd corrected himself from outside- mainly trapping Colin on his perch while getting him wet and kissing whatever flailed available.

Good point. "I've never liked showering as a group sport." Mostly because teenage boys tended to be morons about so many things, like snapping bare legs and asses with damp towels in the hope that a giant welt would show up, or turning off the water in the middle of some under-classman's shower after having stolen all the towels and his clothing. And what about the good ol' "who's-got-the-biggest-junk" competitions - participation not optional?

Head tilted, Colin stretched his arms over his head and watched the long-haired blond stepping out of the steamy shower and soaking the ever-present fuzzy foot-carpet (why did moms insist on buying those things? They never really soaked up water effectively...it made no sense!). "He~llo." The smile on his face turned quickly to dismay and mock-horror as a very large, very wet body trapped him atop the toilet. "Aw maaan--"

He would have made some very un-manly squeeping sounds, but he was trying to keep quiet and instead set about flailing his arms and trying to push ineffectually at the wall-of-wet-muscle that was his lover. "I'm not a towel!" Low laughter and flailing only got him one hand free - and not for long. It took no time at all before he was tangled in the seaweed-like trap of Björn's hair. "What are you, an octopus?"

Was all that damp skin tempting? Hell yes. Instead of trying to get free to beat up his boyfriend, Colin decided it was far better to just play like a towel and lapped at a few water drops instead; not like he really minded being trapped like that.

"Jeg lengter etter deg*, " Björn hissed under his breath, watching the motion sharply. At least clothes being wet meant they were likely to come off sooner. Good excuses. He liked good excuses. They needed to get back to Colin's room before hormones forgot location and just made use of the dampened bathmat. He spent the careful moment untangling his hair to step back and grab the towel he'd been assigned from the linen closet.

Brain work....towel off quickly. What was necessary before falling into exhausted sleep? "What time is wake up? "

They were used to routines at Hillworth- when breakfast was, what was required. How tight of a ship was the Hargrove house? And moreover, what was it going to be on a holiday. Important information since it would determine if one had to pull on clothes again before passing out.

Pulling on skin-tight Underarmor was hard in a hurry and excited. He should have reconsidered his choice and brought gym shorts. Live and learn. He'd know better for the next shower.

*I long for you

Maybe he didn't speak the same language, but over time he'd picked up some of the things Björn said the most -- and if nothing else, Colin totally understood the emotions behind the words. Especially under the circumstances. "Let's get to bed..." After a careful untangling process that left Björn drying off, he picked at the now overly-damp and clingy pajama pants - the sooner they got back to his room, the sooner he could peel out of the wet night clothes and get back to nibbling on his boyfriend.

"Whenever we want, as long as we're up by noon." Trusting that her son wouldn't spend his life in bed because he liked to be up and active, Rebecca didn't enforce any particular wake-up times. Not even for holidays. "Miri probably won't be home until then anyway..."

Björn struggled into his underthings and Colin cracked open the bathroom door to look and make sure no wandering parent roamed the hallways. All was clear and the return to his room would be quick. The moment both boys were safely ensconced in his room, he'd be tugging at the wet pajama material. "You're lucky I didn't plan on sleeping in these."
