And then suddenly the kitchen was closed as clothes flew everywhere and there was the use of cream and strawberries that shouldn't have been used in that manner.
Ofelia wondered if she hurt Jason judging by the look on his face. She really wanted to test the theory because man, he looked funny as hell, but maybe poking and touching people was a bad idea. Plus now she needed to wash her hands again and so Ofelia started towards the sink...
...only to trip over her own feet and end up smacking the counter. The whipped cream in progress ended up soaring through the air and it landed all over her bare manly chest. "Oh my."poke mattix WHAT ARE WE DOING ahahahahahahaha

Pulling himself up agian, Jason held onto the counter as he rubbed his bottom, looking around at Ofelia as if he was about to cry. "O-felia...W" And then his jaw dropped at just how...wait, how did that even- "A-are...you okay?" He hoped she was. And also hoped to god She wasn't about to ask him to get the cream of his chest.

"This cream feels really sticky. Any ideas an' suggestions on how ta properly get it off? Ah got a feelin' usin' a rag would feel really awkward on mah bare chest right now." Ofelia looked down at her overly sculpted and glowing Adonis pecs and abs that were covered in the white froth of whipped cream. A finger was traced down over part as she sampled a bit, popping said fingertip back into her mouth. "S'shame we jus' can't eat it off mah body - tastes really good when mixed wit' salt from sweat."
That sounded so gross what was Ofelia even doing this was turning into something entirely different from the usual baking lessons that the pair did. Maybe, just maybe, when this was all over both of them would forget that anything even happened and this would just be a weird, weird dream.

Jason was well on the way to pretending this was a weird dream, and trying to think up some way to get the cream off of her without turning this into a scene where either of them would be embarrassed if someone came in. Not to mention he was already involved with someone, and if word got around...Nope, he didn't want to think about it. "U-ummm...." He was speechless, and was currently looking the other way as Ofelia busied herself in sampling it. He had no idea as to how to salvage it (nor did he want to have some himself. Zanth did, but he didn't count), so he said the only thing he could think of at this time. "..S-shower?"

"Nah, Ah'll be good. If Ah go an' shower now we might as well jus' cancel our bakin' lesson an' then what? Ah'll jus' suck it up an' we can keep goin' like this." Ofelia used the palm of her hand to wipe off whatever remained and rinsed it off in the sink. Whatever strange mood that had come over with the cream on the chest was now gone and the want of baking properly had returned.
Ofelia was still in the speedo or whatever but that was because it was still hot and things. At least now he was serious and the task at hand could go back to making angel food for the strawberry shortcake or whatever it was they were making. "Go ahead an' make 'nother batch'a whipped cream, Ah'll get started on the cake batter an' we'll go from there. Good?"

And as quickly as it started, the strangeness had stopped. Although Ofelia was still in the speedo's at least she wanted to focus on making the actual cake now. "A....ah...o-okay." Jason stuttered out a reply. At least she was working on the cake batter, once they had that they would be half done with the recipe. Grabbing some more cream and sugar, the moon trainee threw them into the bowl and began to whisk the contents together. It didn't take him long, and soon enough there was another bowl of cream sitting on the counter. Now he just hoped that the cream would go in the cake, and not anywhere else. He wasn't sure how much thickened cream was left (plus he didn't want a repeat of what just happened.)

When Ofelia finally set her (his) mind to the task the batter started to come along quite smoothly and soon enough they had the basics of making the cake. "We got a pan anywhere fer this?" Ofelia asked. She knew they could always use a flat pan but there was something fun about angel food cake used for strawberry shortcake being in weird shapes. "Sommin' like'a bunt pan maybe? Or if we got smaller cake pans we could make several lil' ones? That sounds fun an' we could pass 'em out."
Even as a guy Ofelia still liked her cooking to be shared, even if this time it was filled with a lot more sweat than it should have been. Hopefully nothing would taste too salty from how hot it still was in the kitchen. Turning the runic ovens up and opening them would probably only make it worse.

"We should have some pans stored around somewhere." Considering Deus Ex had just about everything else, it would be logical to think they would have a cake pan here too. Though it made him curious as to who would bake a cake here, and thanks to a few comments made by Zanth about birthday parties, he had a lovely image of Dr. H in a party hat with a birthday cake It was...slightly disturbing to think about. Ofelia's idea about the smaller pans sounded good however. "Yeah, everyone could have their own little version of a strawberry shortcake." And, he could give one to Solia too. That sounded even better. "I confess, I don't know what a bunt pan is."

"A bundt pan is the kind that's round an' has a hole in the center? The cake gets in an' ya flip it upside down an' it looks like'a round mountain or sommin'." Ofelia started motioning with her hands in an effort to describe what a bundt cake pan was and she ended up nearly flailing.
The end result though actually had her finding a bundt cake cupcake style pan which meant they could have the best of both choises. Whomever worked at Deus and in the kitchens prior to her arrival really knew their items and stuff. "This 'ere is what Ah was talkin' 'bout." S/he held the pan up and turned to Jason, a massive grin on her face. "One or the other would be good but doin' both is best. Go 'head an' set the oven fer the bakin' temperature an' Ah'll get ta preppin' the strawberries. It'd be nice if we had peaches or sommin' too, or more fresh fruits."

"That way we don't have to worry about making to much...ah! We could use this?" The moon trainee then held up a cupcake tray. Though they weren't small molds like he thought, it had the same sort of idea. While Zanth continued to whine about his lack of anatomy, Jason managed to find a few bananas that he htought still looked fresh. "How about we use these?" He asked.

Ofelia was referring to the bananas and then she nodded towards the cupcake tray as well. "Man Ah always love how this kitchen has everythin' Ah'd ever need. Makes me wanna make a list or sommin' of things Ah need ta buy when Ah get my own house ready in town." Yes Ofelia still had dreams of living in town.
An entire house to herself for all her junk and cooking? Yup.
"Okay so wait what are we doin'? Still makin' toppin' fer the angel food cake right or are we makin' puddin' now too?" Ofelia had confused herself. Himself. Whatever.
