He couldn't help but smile at her attempt to bring him down a notch, but he knew better than to take out skinwalkers. At least, not right away. "You see, they are making the perfect distraction right now. And besides, the meal I want is well guarded by his brood. And I so do want to claim that one particular meal personally nothing else will suffice."
He could tell that his constant reminder of her size was getting to her. Not wishing to start a conflict--oh his treasure would worry over injuries--he decided to be polite. "Well then, little snake. Surely you have a name?"

Her tail practically cracked against the air as she lashed out with it, her frustration apparent, but it was clear that her words wouldn't be enough to goad this stallion into action. Very well. "Then you best make certain someone small and seeming insignificant doesn't creep in while you're waiting to steal it from you." The words were petulant, but she meant the threat. It wasn't as though she really cared about whatever this meal was--but if it would spite him and put him in his place, consider her tempted.
"Theia, of the Black Skull herd." She didn't quite snap, arching her neck proudly and staring him dead in the eye. "Your turn now, Dragon. You owe me that much."

He lowered his head down in respect, bending a knee ever so slightly in a bow. "It is a great honor to meet one of the Black Skull. I have heard whispers from lessers that you are one of few who keep true to the Blood. A rarity anymore, I fear."He stepped out of his bow. "Theia, of the Black Skull, I am Myrddin. An old and forgotten name that struck fear in to those of the Great Ring far beyond these lands."

At least he could humble himself when appropriate. Theia was somewhat mollified, though the tip of her tail continued to twitch this way and that. "We are, and we will always be." The Black Skull herd would never fall so long as its core was strong.
"Myrddin," She repeated, tasting the sound of his name."Well. Then you'll need to make certain it strikes fear again in the hearts of lessers once again."
