There was nothing more insulting to a valkyrie than being called soft, so as soon as Shun's father said it, all the hugs and fuzzy warm feelings were gone. "Hay!" Freya pulled back, putting one hand back on her hips while the other one shook its finger up at him. "Shun is not soft. I will has yeh knows he kicks my a** regularly. And he just saved the world, if yeh didn't notice, so don't yeh goes and says such things about him. He's the hardest son of a b***h I knows, and that is why he's a good guy." In fact, he was probably a little too hard. She gave him a look, and smirked. Then she realized the 'wolf' in question was Mitsu, and her eyes narrowed with careful anger. "Be nice now, papa, I wants teh likes yeh. Yeh brought Shun into this world. Is a good thing. But don't ruins it with mean nasty bad things comings out of yehr mouth." Freya felt just a little more alone than she had a moment ago. She stepped back, and her arm dug into Shun's. She could tell he didn't want her around, at the moment - and she could also tell they were going away.. so she chose the lesser of two evils. By attaching herself to him. If they'd come here to have a father son dinner, well then, Freya was just rude enough to butt herself into it.

"You are likely giving both yourself and him too much credit. I wouldn't doubt a scareling being able to beat you down," he said in a matter of fact tone. He soon dismissed the whole 'save the world' bit. That was utter nonsense as far as he was concerned. And he didn't really give a damn about that. "I am Kaitou Kuroda. Not 'papa'. And I'm sorry, did I offend you?" he added before glancing to his son. He was about to address the words he had hissed out but the Valkyrie soon latched onto him. "Freya. Let go of me," Shun said lowly while trying to pull his arm away. The longer they were out here like this, the more likely things were going to continue go downhill.

And this was why Freya should never be allowed to go anywhere without the only thing that kept her from doing stupid things - Kettil - ever again. "HAH!" She barked out in laughter, summoning her scythe into her hand. "Yeh comes outsides with me, Kaitou Kuroda, and we sees if yehr right about that!" Yes, she'd just challenged Kaitou Kuroda in his own nightclub. Yes, she'd just summoned a weapon. Yes, she was an idiot. Any more questions? Shun's request looked like it hurt more than anything, and she pouted at him, her hand letting go of his arm. She wasn't about to beg him not to leave her alone - she couldn't even stomach the idea. So she had to accept that Shun just wanted her gone. "Fine." She muttered, her weapon disappearing. "Fine." She looked so very disappointed as she turned to try and go back to her mitsu soup. That's what it was called, right?

A few different things happened the moment Freya had summoned her weapon. The nightclub suddenly became more silent as people stopped to stare. Akane, who was within eyesight, summoned her own weapon: a strange looking scythe that seemed mechanical. Upon closer look, one would notice that the haft of the weapon was fashioned similarly to how a rifle would be. She wasn't the only one. The sushi chef gripped onto one of the kitchen knives, staring down the teen girl, and two other patrons that had been sitting nearby jumped to their feet. One, a monster, flashed out their claws, while the other summoned a pair of handguns. Shun placed a hand to his head once more. "Baka..." he muttered under his breath. Freya had released him, and dismissed the weapon, but the damaged had likely already been done. As for Kaitou himself? He remained completely relaxed, if not a little amused. "You have a lot of nerve. Bold, but utterly stupid. See these people ready to attack? It's because I own this place," he stated calmly before making a dismissive wave to the others that had taken up arms. They all reluctantly settled back to what they were doing. Well. All but Akane. She was the manager here, and she wasn't going to be tolerating s**t. Though, Kaitou would certainly be able to handle things. "I accept your challenge. The weak and stupid always need to be put in their place.""Forget it. I didn't come here with you so you can start s**t with my peers," Shun muttered lowly, "Let's just go on and forget this ever happened."Not waiting for a response, he started to head on into the backroom. Or, he was, before his father placed a hand on his shoulder to keep him from going.

Well. Freya definitely hadn't expected the entire night club to take this man's side, and she knew when she was outnumbered. She was suddenly very glad she'd put away her axe, So she sat up straight, and sipped her miso soup, watching them carefully. "Nevermind. Is not a fair fight. Besides, I am too busy enjoying yehr delicious miso soups." She took another sip from the spoon. "What is a miso, anyway?" Freya took everything seriously.

"You're right, it would hardly be fair. You wouldn't have stood a chance. Perhaps my"There was a hint of irritation in Kaitou's voice as he spoke. He had long since dropped the facade of pleasantness. "It's a seasoning, little girl.""Father," Shun said while gritting his teeth. The word seemed a little strained, "Let her enjoy her meal and let's go.""Wait. How about this. In my stead, you can challenge my son here. Two weaklings facing off against one another isn't much of a show, but it'd be more fair. If you win, you get your meal free. Though... what should happen should you lose.."

"Oh." A seasoning. Well it was pretty good. So she had another sip, and watched carefully as Shun tried to convince his father not to kill her. He really was a good guy, even if he looked like he wanted to kill her himself. She bit her tongue while grinning when Kaitou suggested that Shun and Freya face off. "Ach, we does that all the times. That's no fun! Besides, I can pays for my food myself. I wouldn't have comes here if I couldn't." She picked the silver seeds out of her cleavage and slid it across the table. And then her smile faded. Just a bit. "And for the record, when I fights Shun, I does it on my own terms. I do nothing for yehr pleasure."

Kaitou all but sneered there. "Is that so?" he asked before turning to make his way towards the backroom finally, "Shun, must you surround yourself with cowards and worthless whelps? You're only being held back."The younger reaper just let out a light huff in response to that. There was little point in him arguing right now. He cast Freya a glance, then moved to follow the other to the back. Freya's tiger roll sat there on the counter. All sushi-like. And Akane was still watching her carefully.

Again, Freya felt the roll of irrational anger make her want to lash out at the man - but even she could appreciate that she would be mincemeat in a place like this. So she made a face at him, because no one would kill her for being a brat - and then turned back to her food. "Sheesh." She huffed out. Her eyes flickered, just once, to watch Shun walk away. He hadn't said a word in defense - and why would he? He hated her. She just had to accept that. Maybe eating a tiger would help. She pulled her little tiger roll closer, turned to give Akane a grateful smile, despite the look on the woman's face, and dug in. ... It didn't taste like tiger meat at all.. ):

Since things had seemingly cooled down for the time being, Akane relaxed. As Freya went on to eat her sushi, she went to go check on something else, leaving the valkyrie to enjoy(?) her meal at hand.
