Terra looked with big eyes of wonder at the fast dating place, her mind full of strange, probably illogical thoughts. She smiled back brilliantly at Desu, grabbed the pen, and jotted her name down for a speed date.
She hoped it included fast vehicles!!

AJ didn't know what DETH is or what Scarentines is about, however, he knew how to observe. He could sense the bizarre aura in the air, but as long as that didn't bother him, he can leave it. There were booths set up here and there around the campus, all of them looked fun. He walked into one of them as a start. Speed Dating?Although the boil didn't know what it was, he knew "dating" mean he can get to know more people. With the incorrect concept, he signed the sheet. For the part of species, he first wrote amphi- then he crossed that out, wondering how many people would know that's a serpent dragon. " Hey the pretty miss over there! What do we suppose to write on the "Other" part? It's my first time to do speed dating." a bright shinny grin was given. The sudden question had Desu tapping her finger to her lips in thought. That was an interesting question. Usually she just let students write whatever they wanted for things. It was what she did anyway. Scribbing on a card, AJ would be able to read:

Sophie hadn't intended to sign up for speed dating; it wasn't something she would shine and it was most definitely something her brother would frown over. But once she had stepped in the area, she was too embarrassed to turn and walk away. So she signed up and slipped over to a blanket to sit down, cheeks suddenly very hot.

Weirdly, the desu desu lady didn't answer but shoved him a card. Inside it was a scribble in block, written in shocking pink. AJ startled a bit at the message but he remained polite by saying thank you. He continued with his form. Desires? Well, he just came for fun and maybe meeting with more people as Mot sempai told him. As he handed the form to Desu, the image of the snowball fight that he joined not far he entered Amityville flashed by. Wait. " Oh are you the lady got proposed after the snowball fight? I was on your team!" There was a giggle from him, recalling all the fun they had. " Where's your boilfriend, or it should be fiance now, right?" It was of a bit a teasing tone, but he felt happy for the lady to be able to find a loved one. " He should help you around, especially during this awesome day." Etzer had heard all about the 'speed dating' first, and of course being the first to know had to tell his brother about it. No bribes were given, and no real information other than 'speed dating' was said, but the frost demon drug his brother to the scene before the crime, intending to at least get his brother some friends.

Molan had had plans. He had intended to hide inside and avoid people until this all went away. Save for the fact that wasn't happening. As soon as his well thought out plans to avoid this nonsense were made he found that he'd forgotten to lock the door. A mistake that lead to his brother showing up, rambling something about 'speed dating and fun' and him being drug out to the Scarentine's events.
And the first place of course involved this speed dating thing. Didn't you... try to hook up with people at these things? He cast his brother a bit of a glare. "It will be... and you know it." He replied, scowling a bit his ears back. Still he'd gotten a look that said he wasn't going to be allowed to leave until he signed up. Which lead to him filling out the form. Serafina wasn't so sure about this speed dating thing, really, but from what she heard this was a good way to meet people quickly ... or just find out she hated them, but hey, it could be worse, right? And she could use any way to get her name out there, even just a little bit.
She bit her lip underneath her surgical mask, before deciding to go fill out a form. Really, it couldn't hurt. If anything, maybe she would actually meet someone of interest.
So long as it wasn't anyone who dared call her a dear, things should be fine!
A hand daintily picked up a pen before scrawling her own writing across the page, keeping things as brief and simple as they should be for a speed date. After all, the point of a speed date was essentially a blind date where two people attempted to quickly get to know each other, right? First impressions were indeed the most important thing in this case... perhaps she should use this to practice the impression she was giving off.

Thanks to his growing amount of friends (they were all minipets) scrounging up food was harder than usual. Times were tough.
Every evening, close to the garbage cans but not too close in case the staff saw, Pickles set places for each of his friends, said grace, and tucked in to whatever meager, fearish meal he'd managed to split between them.
He was starting to see talking hamburgers by the time a Festival was announced.
A Festival. He could hear a choir of imps singing.
He was picking happily through the bins when he saw it, his friend! AND fellow revolutionary for the cause of anarchy and fighting The Man. Speed-dating sounded fun, too! He'd done one of these last year. Or rather, he'd hid at one of the tables so Enzo wouldn't beat him up.
He found a stubby, worn pencil (stolen) from the depths of his robe, and wrote in big, clumsy lettering:

Matteo wasn't sure how long he stood there staring blankly at the sign-up sheets. Minutes, probably, or several awkward seconds, but it felt like hours. He had drifted over to the booth, lured by the pretty flickering candles and music -- Helton John was like a siren call to him. A horrible, tone deaf siren that he was drawn to only because it was so awful and he really, really wanted to smack the gloombox around until it stopped. He never got around to doing that, actually. He probably should.
But that pen was so pink.
Jerking his head away from the spooky instrument, he considered the actual words on the sheets in front of him. Speed dating. He'd never tried that before, let alone been on an actual date -- what was he supposed to do, exactly? Sit on those blankets surrounded by funny smelling flowers?
Scarentines was so surreal.
On the other hand, it could be a good way to meet someone. Matteo was freshmeat here, and a quick glance at the other students gathered around the booth showed a handful of interesting-looking people. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
He glanced over at the marionette on his shoulder. Peppino, as always, wore a huge and slightly maniacal smile.
With shaking fingers, Matteo picked up the pen and signed his name.

It wasn't a date.
Gabby had to keep telling himself that, as he headed down to the booths, holding a leesh with a very reluctant creature at the other end. He hadn't.. like.. asked her on a real date. They were just.. spending.. Scarentines together.
As friends.
He continued to convince himself, going so far as to sign up for one of the booth games named speed dating. He never would have done so, normally.. but it was important to stress to himself that there was no reason Sibyl would mind him signing up for this because they were not on a date.
He scribbled his name down and tugged on the leash, his little friend waddling in tow.

TG was getting really sick and tired he wasn't swimming in the ghouls at this point, and what better way to manage his time then Speed Dating. It meant he could come away with several ladies by the time Scarentines was done and over with. He'd just have to make sure he saved a few for the ugos or else the other boils would complain.
