It was around 1:00pm when Bridgette awoke still wrapped in Kaiel's embrace. A red flush lit her cheeks, but her heart soon swelled with love, his sleeping face was one of the most adorable things she had ever paid witness to. Quietly she moved to gather her things and carefully moved Kaiel's clothes over to his side, nudging him as she brought them over.
"Rise and shine, Kaiel." She cooed, smiling. "Time to get dressed and go home. It's passed noon already!"

"Hmn, huh?!" Kaiel squeaked, jumping up from his position on the ground. How did it get so late? Why was he still on the beach? Why was he nake- He looked up at Bridgette, and everything made sense. They had both given into their feelings for each other, every detail played back in his mind like a video. He blushed and scrambled to get his clothes on, chuckling every time he dropped something. All the while, Bridgette stood smiling at him, and all he could feel was unending joy. They may have just met, but this whole experience was the right decision. For once in his life he had made the right choice while not thinking twice about it... And it felt great!
As they walked towards the street where Kaiel's home stood, anxiety crept back into Kaiel's mind. He had to be sure that she was making the right decision for herself. He didn't want to bring her to his family if she was uncertain of anything.
"Bridgette..." He began, gazing kindly at her. "Are you sure you want to come home with me? ...You could always change your mind, you know..."

Bridgette sighed and rolled her eyes at Kaiel. She put her paw on his paw and nuzzled his face, purring. She stayed silent, taking the time to nuzzle him a few more times, before giving him a stern look.
"Yes, Kaiel!" She said, laughing. "I am sure. I am more sure than you will ever know! Don't worry. I am not going to change my mind..."
They continued down the road, side to side, smiling and laughing as they walked along. Though they may have met and fallen in love so suddenly, a permanent bond had been set in stone that morning. Neither had the intent of leaving the other, no matter what the cost. Love was now more important than pride, dignity and a life spent in riches beyond the worth of the Gods.
