Otto shot forward like a bullet, showing off his melee abilities with Tenya by wielding her like an oversized, ill-shaped baseball bat. One, two, three swings back and forth across Nevada's form.

She flushed and then bit her lip, "Well that's flattering Otto." It was really nice to know that past all that gruffness and sarcasm that...Otto was probably just shy.
Yep, Otto. Nevada figured out your secret. You're a shy one.
And just as she got that thought process though, he was closing in, Tenya swinging at her like a baseball bat. Some hits she managed to avoid, and some she felt...and really felt. Heavily in fact as she noticed that her leg was bleeding from one of the hits. Nothing major, just a small cut. The same for her arm on the same side.
/Don't worry about the wounds, I'll patch them up so they don't scar your pretty skin. just worry about the fact that his FEAR shield hasn't dwindled at all.../
She nodded, taking a step back and tripping. s**t, the only thing she could think of to stop Otto's attack while she was on the ground was hook her leg under his, tripping him.
Leroy was left on the ground as she moved over the death hunter and pinned him. "Gotcha~"

Otto wasn't able to keep his balance as his leg was hooked, falling to the ground with a complete lack of grace. And then he was pinned, staring up at a rather attractive girl who'd been hitting on him through the whole battle.
Stunned and pinned to the ground. He could only star up at the violet eyed female with a gruff kind of bewilderment, couple with weak attempts at struggling free. He still wasn't so sure he wanted to escape.

Well now that she had him pinned, what did she do? She was leaning over him, her hair pooling around his sides as she met his blue eyes. Of course his expression was one of that same grumpy look, probably didn't like being pinned did he?
But then it was the bewilderment that made her flush, because he hadn't said anything yet, and with the weak attempts at him trying to escape only confused her. If he didn't want to be pinned, then why wasn't he fighting harder? If he didn't like what was she was doing then why didn't he say something? His expression clearly was the 'Otto' expression...All grump...with some widened eyes.
In attempt to dispell the confusion, she leaned in closer, watching him with a questioning look. "Nothing to say Otto?" or do Otto? "Some guys really don't like being pinned by girls...."

Otto blinked, furrowing his brows in thought. "I never got much to say." He drawled carefully, "I guess most guys don't like it, but I think it's kinda hot.."
With that little snipe, he moved to try and pin her instead. He ripped his arms from her grasp, grabbed her shoulders and rolled them both to the side, successfully putting Nevada in the position she'd had him in earlier.
"Got ya, girly."

Nevada kept watching him carefully, when he did speak...somewhere she actually felt relieved and smiled at him. "I suppose that something I do like about you Otto, when you do have something to say, Its important to pay attention." Her grip loosened as she laughed, "D...do you now?" She was still chuckling that ended up in a muffled squeak as he ripped free from her grasp.
This time she fell back, hitting the ground with Otto over her, effectively switching their postions. Her heart fluttered for a second, surprise at his boldness. She took back the whole shyness thing because he was really not being that shy. Oh...Well...okay...
Her face did turn a nice shade of red at the situation, it being a first for her, but she didn't bother struggling in his grasp, he was much stronger then her and well...it wasn't like she was upset over this development. Violet eyes danced with amusement as he stated his win.
"I'll have to agree on your last statement, this is kind of hot isn't it?" She smirked at the hunter, "Looks like what you won! I guess I should give you a reward? Well Otto, what would you like? A sandwich in apron day? Cuddle session? Errand girl? Lace panties?" She waggled her eyebrows at him.

Oh, she was turning red now. Well, this was a nice change of pace. It felt like he was always the one getting flustered, after all. Still, it made him feel a little self conscience. He usually wasn't all that bold unless he felt confident he wouldn't get rejected. That was probably something Nevada could do that others didn't.
"Hmm..? I dunno... servitude doesn't really do it for me." Otto replied thoughtfully. What exactly was he supposed to ask for from a girl? Sure, certain stuff came to mind but he wasn't a lech. Or at least he didn't want to come off as one. Being blunt was one thing...
Mind out of the gutter. Pinning a girl wasn't helping. A pinned girl waggling her brows at him.
Otto lost his boldness then and there, letting go of the brunette under him and lifting himself off of her. "Yer sure forward, ain't ya." He commented idly.

She cocked her head at him, waiting for his claim on winnings. Servitude? She smiled thoughtfully, didn't really bother her. He had won fair and square even with her attempts at distracting him with her wily foxy girl charms.
When he lifted himself off, she felt a small sense of disappointment that something...well to be honest, she was probably making her expectations from him a little high. Where she was forward and bold about her feelings, he mostly was not.
She sat up, not bothering really to move herself from the ground and crossed her legs, forgetting she was wearing a shorter skirt then usual and smiled.
"It was something I think my sister worried about, how...let's say easy with affection I am." She hesitated, "If we're going to be honest, I am not usual as forward with people, especially with guys. I dealt with my fair share of guys who took it to the next level without my consent. I like to flirt, because its friendly and ego boosting, for both parties." She hesitated and smiled, knowing the excact reason why she might like Otto so much. He didn't ask for it, didn't demand it. It was free for her to give to him, and free of him to take it if he wanted to. "I like to give affection to people I honestly really like, and I really like you Otto." She flushed, looking down. Playing with one of her boot strings.
For a moment, she thought of Roland. She liked Roland too, but it was different from Otto. Roland was everything she thought of as a best friend, someone to share closeness without expectations that something might happen. Of course, they had shared a kiss and cuddles but...
It was different from that developing feeling for Otto, not thinking of him as a best friend like she did Roland, not thinking of him as a friend at all. Thinking of him romantically.
She just smiled at the death hunter. "I don't think you were expecting a confession so soon yeah?"

Otto's head lifted, trying not to stare at Nevada's...well... her under things. She certainly forgot she was wearing a skirt...
His attention focused on her face as she spoke, less distracted by everything else as she opened up about herself.
He didn't register what she said right away, but when it hit him, it hit him. His blue eyes widened suddenly, seemingly stunned and dumbfounded. That.. was some kind of confession, wasn't it? For real? To.. HIM? His heart skipped a few beats. He was flattered. Very flattered. It certainly made him see her in a different light. She was always cute but..
Suddenly his heart clenched. Someone else who resided inside there was reminding him she did. There was a certain black haired woman who'd held it for a long time. But...
Nevada never made him feel like a kid. She made him feel like an actual guy. That was something he didn't find here at Deus much, if at all. While his heart leaned toward Eva, she never made him feel like this. He always felt like a kid with her, even though he had feelings for her. He could never let them be known, not when she acted more like a Big Sister than a...
Now it was complicated. While here was a cute, fun and willing girl confessing she liked him, his heart was torn. Would pursuing Nevada make him a quitter? Mean he was cheating on his own feelings? Maybe he was just flattered that someone liked him like this. Struggling with what was right, and what he wanted...
"I uh... wasn't much expectin' one at all so.." So she wasn't just a frivolous flirt. She had.. feelings to some degree. Well damn. What was he supposed to do? He didn't want to turn her down.. especially since he felt like nothing could ever.. and would never happen with Eva. To her, he was always just Puppy. Right? He didn't want to close himself of an opportunity, yet..
CRAP, WHAT DO I SAY!?
Otto was flustered. He'd never really been confessed to, after all. He'd been the one confessing the last time he'd liked a girl. Well.. the last time before Deus.

She had caught him with the biggest surprise of them all, even when she herself had been surprised by her confession. Unfortunately she was never one to keep her feelings to herself and thus, it came out.
She could tell that he was probably thinking it over carefully, and that made her adore him all the more. Because he wouldn't just jump right up and accept it, weighing the options.
Somewhere, she might've let it slipped that he had someone else in his heart, he had been here much longer hadn't he? Just because he told her that she was one of the few that didn't seem him like a younger brother didn't mean that he didn't have his own feelings. Perhaps one of those sisters was someone he didn't see as a sister?
"Things that catch us surprise right?" She held her hand out and took his in it, squeezing it. "I don't want you to feel like...you have to respond to my feelings Otto." She hesitated, "Because I like you, and I want what makes you happy. I'd be happier if it was me but then again..." She chuckled...
"How about this, your reward for winning was my confession. You've got all the time to think about it, I don't think I'm going to disappear or well...die in the meantime so..." She let go of his hand, leaning over to give him a very chastise kiss on the cheek. "I'm free to hang out and cuddle and go on dates if you'd like Otto, whenever you want."
There that was mature right? She didn't need a response right away, she could wait. She could be patient right? Just because she found someone she really liked, didn't mean she expected to happen like magic and poof he was hers.
God the times she wished she had her sister to talk to about it.

He squeezed her hand back. He liked her enough that he wanted her to be happy too. It was just.. that thread that connected him to someone else was strong. One way or another, before he could move on.. he needed to know for sure. He needed to find out how Eva felt. If she didn't see him the same way he did, his heart would be broken. He feared that rejection, and the tear it may cause in their friendship so much he'd held off on showing her his feelings. Those feelings belonged to him, and he kept them to himself like a scrooge.
Otto's expression went wry at the mention of disappearing or dying. Those things did happen, after all. The kiss on the cheek helped quell that worry for the moment.
Hanging out, cuddling and dates were still a go? Awesome.
He nodded finally, "Thanks. I'll think about it seriously. And.. well there's somethin' I gotta make sure of before I go jumpin' into somethin like this." He was nothing if not cautious. Death Hunter to the core.

"And you would too." She laughed, "Well until then, i'll swoop in and grab all those feelings you got lying around..." She joked, giving him a nudge. "Whatever it is thats keeping you from moving forward..." She hesitated, not sure of her place but since it was already out...
"There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect." She smiled, thinking of the quote, "Ronald Reagan. Just don't think about your constraints Otto..."
"I'll talk to you later handsome!" She brushed off her skirt and gave a wink, grabbing her weapon that had been lying a few feet away. "and if you ever need someone to talk with or hang out, hit me up. I'm most likely free."
