The second site has just...gorgeous dolls. @__@ I would love to have one, but the price is so high. I can understand, though. It'll be just a dream for now. -adds sites to her favorites-

they're so expensive.. the chibi ones cost about $300 sgd and the adult size one is about $800-$1000... though they look lovely.. i'd only buy them if i became a millionair.. crying http://www.domuya.net/default.aspx - one place you can get em~ *edit* i personally favour custom house's petite Ai. dolls.. they're so adorable

I'm going to order the Kohaku dollfie as soon as my mum saves up the money. I'm not the greatest sewer, but I'll try my best at making a dress or two for him. Best way to save up the beans is to buy books worth $20 off Amazon and sell them for $80 on Ebay ninja

I was also 'romping' around in my attic and found my old victorian porclean dolls. One with straight brown hair...one with crazy curly blonde hair...Yay!
You can buy them at toys'r'us for like $20....

dolfies creep me out. They look too real and menacing to be "cute". I think that other acessories are way better ie: teddy bears for sweet lolitas

I have heard of dollfies. You see them every once-in-a-while at anime conventions.
Some companies, like Katie Blair's Petting zoo, make and fashion little wigs specifically for dollfies. She also makes the most jaw-dropping human wigs on the planet. eek

The life-size ones were so realistic they made me wanna puke. I've had a fear of dolls ever since I was little. The only doll I won't part with is the Little Apple Doll named Irae that my boyfriend bought for me. Her skin is pure white and her eyes are black indentions. She's not menacing at all. And as scared as I am of these dollfies, I think I may get one eventually, but I'd have to keep it tightly under lock and key 'cause they're so...unearthly... Which means I'll stick to carrying around stuffed bunnies in various colours.

I would absolutely love to have a Super Dollfie. I've always been fond of porcelain dolls and these dollfies basically embody what I think of as the "Perfect Doll". xP Again, the only problem is money.. I don't have nearly enough to buy one. >.< But I guess it can just be a distant goal for now.
There was a Super Dollfie panel at Otakon that I attended. They talked about how to take care of them and stuff and a lot of the people there had their own dolls. I was actually surprised by the number of doll owners. One guy there made his own dollfies. I think he made mostly tall, thin male dollfies. One of them was made to look like Sephiroth. xD
Actually, I think Dollfies and porcelain dolls are the only type of dolls that don't creep me out. Probably because they're so beautiful. I can't stand some of the dolls they have now, like the dolls that are made to look and act like a real baby. xP
